DEAR STUDENTS, BE CONSCIOUS BY OBSERVING THE FOLLOWING RULES

AND REGULATIONS OF THE HOSTEL.

1. The hostel provides a homely and conducive environment most suitable for students in
pursuance of studies. Therefore, high volume as pertaining any kind of entertainment or
noise are highly discouraged.
2. Misconduct and indiscipline of any kind is not allowed at the hostel. Every student must
respect every member of staff and you are expected to be polite, courteous, obedient,
cooperative and considerate to fellow students.
3. No visitor is allowed to spend a night in the hostel. A penalty of 50,000/= shall be imposed
on those who violate these rules.
4. Fighting or bullying/using your neighbours property without his/her consent is highly
discouraged. Anyone who violates this rule will be expelled.
5. Students shall be responsible for their own properties. Management will not take any liability
for any lost property in the hostel. Always make sure to leave your Balcony, Doors and
Wardrobe Closed.
6. No student should damage/break or lose hostel property. In case of any happening the
property will be paid for or replaced by the offender.
7. Smoking Cigarette, Opium, Cocaine, Marijuana and all types of drugs are discouraged from
the hostel premises. If your caught doing so, police will be involved.
8. Any student proved to be guilty of stealing properties/ belongings to anybody or to the hostel
will be dealt with accordingly and dismissed.
9. The hostel management will not be responsible for any cases/issues that may occur outside
the hostel premises.
10. Students are advised to always move in group especially at night for security purpose and
always keep good relationship with the security personels.
11. Writing on the walls, doors, sticking or nailing any materials on the walls and ceilings are
prohibited.
12. You are requested not to throw rubbish or used sanitary wears outside the building. Make use
of the dust bins provided in the corridors.
13. All damaged things should always be reported to the office of the custodian.
14. You are advised to switch off all the electrical appliances in your room especially when you
are leaving.
15. You are also advised not to entertain nonmembers all the time in your room. Keep use of the
common room/ TV room.
16. A student with health emergency should be reported immediately to the office of the
custodian.
17. In case of any issues, misunderstanding or conflict especially within the hostel premises must
be reported immediately to the office of the custodian.
18. Hot plates and cookers are not allowed to be used in the hostel.
