II. Course Title : Plumbing
III. Credit : 4 units
IV. Pre-requisite : None
V. Course Description : The course covers fundamental theories and standard practices of house
plumbing such as water system, gas system, electrical, drainage and
sewerage. The course also emphasizes the importance of the standards of the
National and International Plumbing Code.

VI. General Objectives: This course aims to equip students to:


1. identify the different tools & materials used in modern plumbing;
2. demonstrate proper work values and safety standards;
3. explain the theories and practices of residential plumbing;
4. identify and illustrate the different plumbing systems;
5. explain the importance of the standards of the national and International
Plumbing Code; and
6. prepare plumbing lay-outs/plans and perform basic plumbing installations and
repair.
