I’ll give my best to write as much as possible in swedish, but since I’m still learning it, there
will be some mistakes, for which I apologize in advance and hope you don’t take me wrong

Hej, jag heter Andriy Namniyek och jag söker mitt första praktikplats
eller jobb i Stockholm.
Jag föddes i Sevastopol, Ukraina på maj 29 och jag flyttade till Lissabon
med 8 år alder. Efter avslutad högskola i Visual Arts-specialiseringen gick jag
in i arkitekturfakulteten vid Lissabons universitet där jag avslutade min arkitek-
turmästare i December 2017. Från Januari till April 2018 jobbade jag som en
heltid arkitekt på ett arkitektkontor som heter “ÔCO Ideias e Projectos de Ar-
quitectura Lda”. Före avslutad min arkitekturmästare jag hade jobbat på det
samma arkitekturkontoret sedan 2009 som en frilans arbetare.
Just nu är jag i Stockholm. Jag flyttade här att sök en ny uttmaning och
jag valde denna stad eftersom jag gillade alltid svenska kultur och arkitekur.
Jag är en mycket kreativ och en mycket bestämd person. Jag arbetar
bra med datorer och jag lär mig väldigt snabbt. Merparten av software jabbar
jag med, lärde jag mig själv. När det gäller arbetet och mötet är jag mycket
ansvarig och pålitlig.
En av de saker gillar jag att göra mest är arbetar med 3D modeler, ren-
derings och animationer.
I min fritid gillar jag att lära mig nya saker, att läsa, att spela datorspelar,
att cykla och träffa nya platser och nya människor.
Jag pratar flytande ryska, portugisiska, engelska och just nu studerar jag
svenska.
Jag gillar verkligen fika och jag önskar att vi kan träffas och prata om
min ansökan.

Hello, my name is Andriy Namniyek and I’m an Architect looking for
my first internship or job in Stockholm.
I was born in Sevastopol, Ukraine, in the 29th of May of 1993 and moved
to Lisbon at the age of 8. Having finished high school in Visual Arts specializa-
tion I entered the Architecture Faculty of the University of Lisbon where I fin-
ished my Architecture Masters in December 2017. From January to April 2018
I have worked fulltime in an Architecture Office “ÔCO Ideias e Projectos de
Arquitectura Lda”. Before having finished my Architecture Masters I have been
collaborating with this office since 2009 as a freelance worker.
Right now, I am in Stockholm. I moved here in search of a new chal-
lenge and I chose this city because I always liked swedish culture and archi-
tecture. They are so different from what I am used to and I am still discovering
them but so far I like it very much.
I consider myself a very creative and a very determined person. I am
pretty good with computers and I learn very quickly. Most of the software I
work with, I learned by myself. When it comes to work and meeting deadlines
I am very responsible and trustworthy. I’m also always aware of what’s around
me in order to collect references and inspiration for my architectural designs.
One of the things I like to do the most is working with 3D models, ren-
derings and animations.
In my free times I like to learn new things, read, play video games, ride
a bycicle, get to know new places and new people.
I speak fluent Russian, Portuguese, English (Cambridge C2 Level) and I
am currently learning Swedish.
I really like the swedish “fika” concept and really hope that we can meet
and discuss my aplication in person.

The house of Luís and Helena was one of my first projects af-
ter I finished university while working for OCO, Ideias e Projectos de
Arquitectura, lda.
It consists of two almost identical houses side by side located
in a terrain in Algés, Oeiras. Luís and Helena are friends and wanted
similar houses, each with a big garage, a cortyard, an open living
room/kitchen, and three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom
and a closet. Each dwelling has almost 300 sq. m. (incl. the cort-
yard)
The most interesting thing about this house is that it is pro-
jeted to be built with sea containers. Sea containers are very sturdy
and their use as a structural base using their columns and beams
to support the builidng allows to save a lot of money during the
construction and also it is a way to reuse old and out of life sea con-
tainers.
The outer façade is like a second skin covering all sides of the
building. Luís and Helena wished for some kind of shading element
to protect the interior of the house. The result was this “chaotic” en-
tity that surrounds all the building and invades its cortyard.

 The New Martim Moniz is the graduation project for my Architecture

Master.
It is essentially the reformulation of one of the most important squares in
Lisbon called the Martim Moniz Square. This urban project intends to reframe
the Square in the city’s context and to solve some of the most important issues
of this urban space, such as poor communications between the S. Jorge’s and
the SantAna’s hills and the confusing vehicle/pedestrian circulation around the
Square. Apart from that, the project intends to bring back the memory of the
Fernando’s Wall which was almost completely demolished and forgotten in the
Graduation Project Virtual Reality Demo
last few years.
Video Presentation
The project consists of a Cultural Centre, a pedestrian passage between
the hills and the Fusion Market. With a total of 18000 sq. m. this
project proposes a large variety of environments which shall promote the inter-
actions between people from all over the world: locals, immigrants from all over
the world and tourists. In the Cultural Centre there is a library, an auditorium, two
multipurpose rooms for classes or workshops and a big exhibition space.
In the Fusion Market, there are spaces for various activities to promote
multiculturalism such as typical restaurants, coffee shops, craft fairs, massage
shops and many others possible uses.

Junqueira Garden Residence was the project I developed in the 4th

year of my Architecture Master.
It is a Residencial Complex situated on the Junqueira Street by the
Lisbon’s Riverside in a currently empty parcel.
Inspired by the Bosco Verticale in Milan, designed by the Boeri Stu-
dio, the main concept of this project is to create a green building which
uses vegetation to create more favourable conditions for living. oxygen pro-
duction, humidity and dust control, sound insulation, shading, CO2 absorp-
tion are just a few of the advantages of using a living façade system. Besides
that, the outer vegetation creates an ecosystem which serves as an urban
habitat for countless species. The green façades also offer a constantly evolv-
ing environment which changes colours according to the season giving the
residents an ever-changing building. The building has also solar panels on
the rooftop and a system for rainwater collection in order to minimize the
maintenance costs.
There are several types of dwellings ranging from the smaller 3 rooms
apartments with 70m2 all the way through the bigger 5 rooms suites with
260m2
