I read with interest your posting for an English Teacher position. I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience
you are seeking and would make a valuable addition to your staff. I have also graduated from Brigham Young
University-Idaho with a bachelors degree in English Education. Along with this, I have 4 months experience in a high
school English classroom while student teaching, as well as a year and a half volunteer experience teaching English to
people from various countries. I have a love of the English language, and know that I can help young pupils be able to
articulate their thoughts and ideas onto paper, and help them strengthen their reading abilities and analyze literature.
I am a strong believer in the student, and will try my best to meet their needs. I am also organized and diligent. My
lessons have objectives and directions, so the students will always know what they are supposed to do and stay on
task. I am also optimistic, especially about the subject, and know that my optimism will rub off on the students.
I have attached my resume for your review and would be happy to provide greater detail about my skills and
experience during an interview. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to speaking with
you further regarding your available position.
Sincerely,
Rosalind Larsen
