I obtained a Radiation Science (BS) from Suffolk University in Boston, MA and have worked in
the healthcare field since 2011. I will be graduating from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse
Masters Medical Dosimetry Program in December, 2017. I am completing the year-long clinical
practicum portion of this program at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Massey
Cancer Center in Richmond, VA. This consists of working with a clinical preceptor along with
dosimetrists, physicists, physicians, and residents to gain clinical experience. Between now and
graduation, I will be learning SRS/SBRT treatment planning using BrainLab as well as Varian
Eclipse as VCU is transitioning from Pinnacle to this new system. Though I do not have prior
radiation therapy or working dosimetry experience, this training has given me a fundamental
clinical experience.

I am dedicated to this profession because dosimetrists are vital players in the treatment of cancer,
something that I am very passionate about. Because of this, I believe medical dosimetrists must
possess qualities such as patience, attention to detail, responsibility, reliability, and dedication.
My background and experience in the healthcare field have allowed for me to attain these
valuable attributes. Additionally, I am open to working in any clinical setting (academic, free-
standing, satellites, etc.) but would prefer to work in the Northeast region as this is where I am
originally from and where my family resides. Further information regarding my qualifications is
