COMPLAINT FOR PATENT INFRINGEMENT, COPYRIGHT

INFRINGEMENT, TRADE DRESS INFRINGEMENT, AND UNFAIR
COMPETITION
Plaintiff Paint Zoom, LLC (PZ or Plaintiff), brings this complaint

against Defendant Groupon, Inc. (Groupon or Defendant) for patent
infringement, copyright infringement, trade dress infringement, and unfair
competition. Plaintiff alleges as follows:
NATURE OF ACTION
1. Plaintiff has been forced to bring this action seeking to put an
immediate stop to, and to obtain redress for, Defendants blatant and purposeful
infringement of Plaintiffs rights in and to Plaintiffs Paint Zoom product.
Ignoring the many chances provided by Plaintiff, Defendant has not only failed to
cease and desist from their unlawful activity, they have increased the harm to
Plaintiff by dumping counterfeit and inferior products.
JURISDICTION
2. This action arises under the laws of the United States, including the
Patent Laws, 35 U.S.C. 1 et seq., including 35 U.S.C. 271, 281, 283, 284, 285
and 289. This action also arises under the Copyright Act of the United States, 17
U.S.C. 101 et seq. This action also arises under the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C.
1051 et seq.). This Court has subject matter jurisdiction over this case under 28
U.S.C. 1331, 1338(a), and 1367.
3. The Court has personal jurisdiction over Defendant because:
Defendant has minimum contacts within the State of Illinois and in the Northern
District of Illinois; Defendant has purposefully availed itself of the privileges of
conducting business in the State of Illinois and in the Northern District of Illinois;
Defendant has sought protection and benefit from the laws of the State of Illinois;
Defendant regularly conducts business within the State of Illinois and within the
Northern District of Illinois, and Plaintiffs causes of action arise directly from
Defendants business contacts and other activities in the State of Illinois and in
the Northern District of Illinois.
4. More specifically, Defendants, directly and/or through authorized
intermediaries, make, sell, offer to sell, distribute, import and/or use products and
services in the United States, the State of Illinois, and the Northern District of
Illinois as described more fully below, and which products and services are
infringing Plaintiffs rights. Upon information and belief, Defendants have
committed patent infringement, trade dress infringement, and copyright
infringement and engaged in acts constituting unfair competition in the State of
Illinois and in the Northern District of Illinois.
5. Venue is proper in the Northern District of Illinois pursuant to 28
U.S.C. 1391 and/or 1400(a) and (b).
PARTIES
6. PZ is a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the
State of Delaware, with its principal place of business at 14724 Ventura
Boulevard, Suite 200, Sherman Oaks, California 91403.
7. On information and belief, Groupon is a corporation organized and
existing under the laws of the State of Delaware with its principle place of
business at 600 W. Chicago Ave., Suite 400, Chicago, Illinois 60654.
FACTUAL ALLEGATIONS
Background
8. PZ is an affiliate of Ideal Living Management, LLC (ILM). ILM is
a vertically integrated multi-channel marketer of consumer products specializing
in direct response television advertising (DRTV), internet and retail sales.
Dedicated to selling better products for a better life through a family of brands,
ILM has been successfully conducting business through DRTV and retail since
1993 and is responsible for worldwide sales of products in excess of $3 billion.
9. Paint Zoom was created by Actervis GmbH, which, with its
affiliate, Industex S.L., sought to commercialize Paint Zoom through an
exclusive licensing program, summarized below (collectively, Actervis and
Industex are referred to herein as Licensor).
10. In May, 2010, PZ entered into a Product And Infomercial License
Agreement Paint Zoom with Licensor, whereby PZ obtained, inter alia, exclusive
rights to manufacture, promote and sell a power paint sprayer named Paint
Zoom in the United States. The May 2010 license was replaced by an October
2012 license of the same name that amended and restated the exclusive license to
PZ (the Exclusive License). The Exclusive License grants PZ exclusive rights
to the intellectual property described hereinbelow (the PZ Intellectual Property).
At various times from May, 2010 to the present, PZ and Licensor have amended
and restated the terms of PZs exclusive license, however, PZs exclusive rights in
and to the PZ Intellectual Property has continued, uninterrupted, at all times
relevant hereto.
11. As a result of PZs extensive and ongoing advertising campaign,
Plaintiffs distinctive Paint Zoom product has been extremely successful,
generating sales of hundreds of thousands of units representing tens of millions of
dollars in sales from 2010 to the present. On information and belief, beginning in
2014, recognizing the popularity, and in a brazen and improper effort to capitalize
on Plaintiffs hard-earned success, Defendant began selling counterfeit Paint
Zoom products.
The PZ Intellectual Property
12. On October 12, 2010, Licensor applied for a design patent for the
ornamental design for a paint spray system, which issued as US D639,387 on June
7, 2011 (the 387 patent or the patent-in-suit). Attached as Exhibit A is a true
and correct copy of the patent-in-suit. By virtue of provisions in the Exclusive
License, PZ is the exclusive licensee of the 387 patent and has the exclusive right
to enforce such patent against all infringers.
13. In addition to PZs common law rights, on September 8, 2015,
Licensor obtained federal registration of a copyright for the Paint Zoom
Packaging, Registration Number 8-217-125 (the First Copyright). A true and
correct copy of Plaintiffs notice of issuance is attached hereto as Exhibit B.
Under the Exclusive License, PZ is the exclusive licensee of the First Copyright.
14. In addition to PZs common law rights, on May 30, 2017, Licensor
filed an application for federal registration of a copyright for the Paint Zoom
Instruction Manual (the Second Copyright). A true and correct copy of
Plaintiffs application is attached hereto as Exhibit C. Under the Exclusive
License, PZ is the exclusive licensee of the Second Copyright.
Defendants Infringing Activity

15. In October, 2015, Plaintiff obtained counterfeit Paint Zoom
products directly from Groupon. When they were delivered, the products were
packaged in PZs copyrighted, Paint Zoom Packaging. The packaging identified
the product as iMounTEK. The design of the product was identical to PZs
design. In addition, Groupon used PZs manual, with the only change being the
removal of the name Paint Zoom.
16. On information and belief, in October, 2015, Plaintiffs broker
contacted Groupon and informed them of the counterfeit products. In
communications over the next several months, PZ learned that Groupon was
refusing to take down the counterfeit products unless Plaintiff beat the pricing
provided to Groupon by its supplier.
17. Thereafter, in March, 2016, PZ contacted Groupon directly and
notified it that PZ is the owner/maker of Paint Zoom; that PZ was authorized to
enforce the Paint Zoom copyrights, patent, and trademarks; that Groupons listing
violated PZs intellectual property rights, including the following:

images, design, text, etc., and they [the supplier] simply
replaced the words Paint Zoom with Mount Tek. As
well, it has our exact manual (design, images, drawings, text)
and again they just replaced the words Paint Zoom with
Mount Tek. This is a counterfeit that should be removed
right away.
In response, Groupon informed PZ that they pulled this [product] off the site the
day you alerted us. This was again confirmed by Groupon in an email dated
March 29, 2016.
18. Nevertheless, after discovering continuing sales, on May 9 and June
8, 2017, PZ again demanded in writing that Groupon cease and desist from selling
the infringing products. Groupon has sold the product recently, as is evidenced by
PZs purchase of an infringing product in August, 2017. On information and
belief, Groupon has been dumping the product and driving the price down for
legitimate PZ products. As can be seen from Groupons website, below,
Groupons current sales price is discounted by 63% from Plaintiffs own
established retail pricing to generate more than 10,000 sales of counterfeit
products.
FIRST CAUSE OF ACTION

(Infringement of Design Patent)
19. Plaintiff repeats and incorporates by reference the allegations
contained in paragraphs 1 through 18 inclusive, as if fully set forth herein.
20. The 387 patent was duly and legally issued by the United States
Patent and Trademark Office on June 7, 2011. Plaintiff is the exclusive licensee
of the 387 patent and possesses all substantive rights and rights of recovery under
the 387 patent, including the right to sue for infringement and recover past
damages.
21. Defendant has infringed and continues to infringe, pursuant to 35
U.S.C. 271 and 289, the 387 patent by manufacturing, selling and/or offering
to sell in the United States paint sprayer products which copy the design covered
by the 387 patent. Specifically, the counterfeit iMounTEK product incorporates
several elements covered by the patent-in-suit, including but not limited to the
paint machine, hose pipe, carrying belt, paint container/reservoir, paint spray gun,
viscosity measuring cup. The paint sprayers are so similar as to be nearly identical
such that an ordinary observer, giving such attention as a purchaser usually gives,
would be so deceived by the substantial similarity between the designs so as to be
induced to purchase iMounTEK products believing them to be substantially the
same as the paint sprayer design protected by the 387 patent. A comparison of the
infringing products with the patented design is provided below:

22. Defendants aforesaid activities have been with actual notice of the
387 patent, and without authority and/or license from Plaintiff.
23. Plaintiff will be irreparably injured by Defendants continued patent
infringement, in a manner which may be difficult or impossible to quantify, unless
enjoined by this Court. Plaintiff has no adequate remedy at law for this ongoing
injury. Plaintiff therefore seeks a preliminary and permanent injunction, pursuant
to 35 U.S.C. 283, to prohibit Defendant from any further infringement of the
387 patent.
24. As a result of Defendants infringement, and in addition to injunctive
relief, Plaintiff is entitled to damages in an amount no less than a reasonable
royalty for the use made of the invention by Defendant, plus interest and costs.
Plaintiff is also entitle to Defendants profits, pursuant to 35 U.S.C. 289.
25. In addition, because Defendant has willfully infringed the 387 patent
with both knowledge and notice of Plaintiffs rights, and with the intent to infringe
those rights, Plaintiff is entitled to increased damages of three times the damages
assessed pursuant to 35 U.S.C. 285, and attorneys fees pursuant to 35 U.S.C.
285.
SECOND CAUSE OF ACTION
(Copyright Infringement)
26. Plaintiff repeats and incorporates by reference the allegations
27. Through its exclusive license, PZ owns the rights to the First
Copyright, the copyright for the Paint Zoom product packaging, including the
following:
28. Defendant has infringed the First Copyright by directly copying

images (e.g., red arrow) from Plaintiffs packaging. For example, the following
packaging including images taken directly from the First Copyright, was used by
Defendant:

29. In addition, Plaintiff also owns the rights to a copyright (the Second
Copyright) to the Paint Zoom Instruction Manual.
30. Defendant has infringed the Second Copyright by directly copying
Plaintiffs copyrighted instruction manual.
31. The foregoing acts of infringement constitute a collective enterprise
of shared, overlapping facts and have been willful, intentional, and in disregard of
and with interference to, the rights of Plaintiff.
32. As a result of Defendants infringement of Plaintiffs exclusive rights
under copyright, Plaintiff is entitled to relief pursuant to 17 U.S.C. 505.
33. The conduct of Defendant is causing and, unless enjoined and
restrained by this Court, will continue to cause, Plaintiff irreparable injury, for
which Plaintiff has no adequate remedy at law. Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. 502 and
503, Plaintiff is entitled to injunctive relief prohibiting Defendant from further
infringing Plaintiffs copyrights and ordering that Defendant destroy all
unauthorized copies of the PZ packing and product manuals.
THIRD CAUSE OF ACTION

(Trade Dress Infringement)
34. Plaintiff repeats and incorporate by reference the allegations
35. Plaintiff owns the design of the Paint Zoom product as trade dress.
36. Plaintiffs Paint Zoom design, including but not limited to the total
image of the product incorporating features such as size, shape, color
combinations, texture, and/or graphics and/or the Paint Zoom product packaging
(the Design), is distinctive. Consumers have come to associate the Design of
the Paint Zoom product only with Plaintiff.
37. The Design of the Paint Zoom product and packaging is
nonfunctional.
38. Defendant used trade dress similar to the Design of the Paint Zoom
product and packaging without the consent of Plaintiff in a manner that is likely to
cause confusion among ordinary consumers as to the source, sponsorship,
affiliation, or approval of the Defendants goods.
39. As a direct and proximate result of Defendants conduct, Plaintiff is
entitled, pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1117(a), to recovery of: (i) Defendants profits
related to all uses of Plaintiffs trade dress; (ii) any damages sustained by Plaintiff
as a result of Defendants conduct, the precise amount of which shall be
established by Plaintiff at trial; and (iii) the costs of this action.
40. In addition, Plaintiff will be irreparably injured by Defendants
continued trade dress infringement, in a manner which may be impossible to
quantify, unless enjoined by this Court. Plaintiff has no adequate remedy at law
for this ongoing injury. Plaintiff therefore seeks a preliminary and permanent
injunction to prohibit Defendant from any further use of Plaintiffs trade dress
without Plaintiffs express written consent in advance.
41. Defendant has willfully poached Plaintiffs trade dress, have admitted
awareness of Plaintiffs Paint Zoom Design, and have advertised their infringing
product as their version of Plaintiffs Paint Zoom Design. Given these
exceptional circumstances of flagrant and willful infringement, Plaintiff requests
treble damages, judgment for a sum this Court finds to be just, and reasonable
attorneys fees, pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1117(a).
FOURTH CAUSE OF ACTION
(Unfair Competition Cal. B&PC 17200)
42. Plaintiff repeats and incorporate by reference the allegations
43. Defendants acts described above constitute unfair competition in
violation of California Business & Professions Code 17200 et seq., as they are
unlawful, fraudulent, unfair, misleading and likely to deceive the public regarding
the design, origin and quality of the goods.
44. As a result of Defendants acts of unfair competition, Plaintiff is
entitled to restitution of the profits and other ill-gotten gains by Defendant from
Defendants infringement of the 387 patent, and infringement of Plaintiffs
copyrights, and trade dress.
45. Plaintiff are also entitled to injunctive relief pursuant to California
Business & Professions Code 17203.
PRAYER FOR RELIEF
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff prays as follows:
a. For entry of a permanent injunction enjoining Defendant and its
respective officers, directors, agents, and employees and all those in
concert or participation with them who receive notice of judgment by
personal service or otherwise, from:
(i) Making, importing, using, selling, and offering to sell

infringing products practicing the 387 patent and from
otherwise infringing, contributing to infringement of, and
actively inducing infringement of the 387 patent; and
(ii) Holding out in any manner whatsoever that its paint sprayer
products, such as iMounTEK, are in any way sponsored,
approved, sourced, certified, affiliated, connected or
associated with Plaintiff, or Plaintiffs products.
b. A judgment and order that Defendant deliver to Plaintiff for destruction
all iMounTEK products, molds, sales literature, and other trade pieces
used in the infringement of the 387 patent.
c. A judgment and order that Defendant make an accounting to Plaintiff
and pay over to Plaintiff:
(i) The extent of Defendants total profit and revenue realized
and derived from its infringement of the 387 patent, and
actual damages to Plaintiff in an amount not less than a
reasonable royalty for Defendants infringement;
(ii) All damages suffered by Plaintiff; and
(iii) Treble damages pursuant to 35 U.S.C. 284 for
Defendants willful and deliberate infringement.
d. For an award of Defendants profits and Plaintiffs damages in an
amount to be proven at trial for false designation of origin and unfair
competition under 15 U.S.C. 1125(c);
e. For an award of Defendants profits and Plaintiffs damages in an
amount to be proven at trial for copyright infringement under 17 U.S.C.
504(b);
f. In the alternative to actual damages and Defendants profits for the

infringement of Plaintiffs copyrights, for statutory damages pursuant to
17 U.S.C. 504(c), which election Plaintiff will make prior to final
judgment;
g. For an award of Plaintiffs actual damages in an amount to be proven at
trial for deceptive trade practices pursuant to Cal. B&PC 17200;
h. For a judgment for restitution of Defendants profits and ill-gotten gains
acquired through its acts of unfair competition.
i. Preliminarily and permanently enjoining Defendant and its agents,
employees, officers, directors, owners, representatives, successor
companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, and all persons
acting in concert or participation with it, and each of them, from:
(i) The import, export, making, manufacture, reproduction,
assemble, use, acquisition, purchase, offer, sale, transfer,
brokerage, consignment, distribution, storage, shipment,
licensing, development, display, delivery, marketing,
advertising or promotion of the infringing and diluting
products identified in the Complaint and any other product
which infringes or dilutes any of Plaintiffs copyrights,
intellectual property, trademarks, trade name and/or trade
dress including, but not limited to, Plaintiffs marks at issue
in this action.
(ii) The unauthorized use, in any manner whatsoever, of any of
Plaintiffs copyrights, intellectual property, trademarks,
trade names and/or trade dress including, but not limited to,
Plaintiffs marks at issue in this action, any variants,
colorable imitations, translations, and/or simulations thereof
and/or any items that are confusingly similar thereto,

including specifically:
1. On or in conjunction with any product or service; and
2. On or in conjunction with any advertising, promotional
materials, labels, hangtags, packaging or containers.
(iii) The use of any Plaintiffs copyrights, intellectual property,
trademark, trade name, or trade dress that falsely represents,
or is likely to confuse, mislead, or deceive purchasers,
customers, or members of the public to believe that
unauthorized product imported, exported, manufactured,
reproduced, distributed, assembled, acquired, purchased,
offered, sold, transferred, brokered, consigned, distributed,
stored, shipped, marketed, advertised and/or promoted by
Defendant originate from Plaintiff, or that said merchandise
has been sponsored, approve, licensed by, or associated
with Plaintiff or is in some way, connected or affiliated with
Plaintiff.
(iv) Engaging in any conduct that falsely represents that, or is
likely to confuse, mislead, or deceive purchasers,
customers, or members of the public to believe that
Defendant is connected with, or are in some way sponsored
by or affiliated with Plaintiff, purchases product from or
otherwise have a business relationship with Plaintiff.
(v) Affixing, applying, annexing, or using in connection with
the manufacture, distribution, advertising, sale, and/or
offering for sale or other use of any goods, a false
description or representation, including words or symbols,
tending to falsely describe or represent such goods as being

those of Plaintiff.
(vi) Hiding, disposing of, destroying, moving, relocating or
transferring any and all products, advertising, promotional
materials, labels, hangtags, packaging or containers bearing
any of Plaintiffs trademarks or which otherwise refer or
relate to Plaintiff or any of Plaintiffs marks.
j. For an order directing Defendants to file with the court and serve on
Plaintiff within thirty (30) days after issuance of an injunction, a report
in writing and under oath setting forth in detail the manner and form in
which Defendant complied with the injunction.
k. For an order from the Court requiring Defendant to provide complete
accountings and for equitable relief, including that Defendant disgorge
and return or pay their ill-gotten gains obtained from the illegal
transactions entered into and/or pay restitution, including the amounts of
monies that should have been paid if Defendant complied with their
legal obligations, or as equity requires.
l. For an order from the Court that an asset freeze or constructive trust be
imposed over all monies and profits in Defendants possession which
rightfully belong to Plaintiff;
m. For an award of exemplary or punitive damages in an amount to be
determined by the Court.
n. Attorneys fees and costs of suit incurred herein;
o. Interest thereon as permitted by law; and
p. Such other and further relies as the Court may deem just and proper.

Thank you for purchasing the Paint Zoom spray gun. Please read the instructions for use and safety warnings carefully
before using Paint Zoom. Keep the manual for future reference.
SAFETY WARNINGS
Failure to comply with the following instructions can result in electric shock, fire and serious injury. Substances used
with this spray gun, such as paint and solvents, may contain hazardous, destructive, explosive and corrosive ingredients.
1. Work Area
- Keep your work area clean and orderly. Working in a cluttered and poorly lighted area can result in accidents.
- Never use Paint Zoom in areas with explosive or flammable liquids, gases or powder.
- Never spray in areas with sources of ignition such as an open flame, cigarette smoke, sparks, incandescent wires and
hot surfaces.
- To avoid the risk of explosion, make sure to spray in an area with enough natural or artificial ventilation.
- Cover all surfaces that you do not want to spray. Keep in mind that the wind can carry paint mist to a much larger area
and cause damage.
2. Electrical Safety
- Avoid contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, heaters and refrigerators, as this can result in electric shock.
- Never modify the spray guns original plug. Never use plug adaptors with earth-protected devices. The original plug
reduces the risk of electric shock. Do not use the device when the switch is defective.
- Keep the device away from rain and humidity. Do not let water penetrate any electrical device, as this increases the
risk of electric shock.
- Use the cable only for its intended use. Keep the cable away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges and moving components.
Deteriorated and kinked cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- When spraying outdoors, only use extension cables suitable for outdoor use.
3. Human Safety
- Pay close attention to what you are doing and proceed carefully when using Paint Zoom. DO NOT use the device
when tired or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A moment of distraction when using the device can result in serious
injury.
- Use a protective breathing mask when using the device. Paint mist and solvent vapour are harmful to your health.
- Keep children and other people away from the device when in use. You may lose control of the device when distracted
by other people.
- Avoid accidentally turning on the device. Make sure that the switch is in the OFF position before plugging the device
into the mains. Keeping your finger on the switch when moving the device or connecting the device to the mains with
the switch in the ON position can cause accidents.
- To maintain firm control of the device during unexpected circumstances, make sure you are in a stable position and
keep your balance at all times.
- Use protective clothing and safety goggles. To avoid the risk of injury, wear protective gear such as a paint mask,
gloves, non-slip shoes, helmet and earplugs. Keep yourself well covered when using Paint Zoom to keep from staining
your clothes, hair and skin.
- Do not use loose-fitting clothes or jewellery and keep your hair, clothes and gloves away from moving parts to prevent
them from getting caught in the device.
- Do not point the paint spray at people or animals.
- Paint Zoom should not be used by anyone, including children, with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or by people
without adequate experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised by somebody responsible for their safety or
are given instructions on how to use the device. Children should not be allowed to play with the device.
4. Correct Use
- Only use materials recommended for spray guns.
- Spray guns should never be cleaned using flammable solvents with a flash point lower than 21C.
- Spray guns should never be used to spray flammable substances.
- Never spray materials of unknown hazard potential.
- Spray bottles should not be used in industrial sites covered by regulations on explosion prevention.
- Be aware of the possible hazards of the material to be sprayed. Follow the instructions on the labels of the container
and the manufacturers instructions.
- Keep the device from sucking in solvent vapours. Do not point the spray at the device!
- Stop using the device if paint rises to the ventilation tube (Figure 9A-12). Disassemble and clean the ventilation tube,
valve (Figure 9A-13) and membrane (Figure 9A-13). Replace the membrane if necessary.
- Paint Zoom has a thermal fuse that turns off the device when it overheats. If the fuse blows, turn off the device, unplug
it from the mains and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. To remove the cause of overheating, check if the hose is kinked,
the air filter is dirty or the air-circulation vents are blocked.
5. Service
- Paint Zoom should only be repaired by qualified personnel using original parts.
- To avoid risks, if the power cable is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturers Customer Service Department
or by a qualified technician.

KINDS OF MATERIALS
Only use materials recommended for spray guns.
Preparing the coating material
You can use the spray gun to spray undiluted or slightly diluted paint, lacquer and varnish.
If the paint needs to be diluted, start by diluting it by 10%. Fill a container with one litre of the paint you wish to use.
Keep in mind that the viscosity measuring cup holds up to one decilitre. Cover the opening and fill the cup with the
required amount of thinner. Add the thinner to the paint and stir well. Measure the viscosity following the recommendations
given below. If the paint needs to be diluted further, dilute it by another 5% (half the measuring cup) and measure the
viscosity. If the paint still has not reached the recommended viscosity, repeat the previous step until the correct viscosity
is reached.
This spray gun can be used with products with a viscosity index of 25 to 50 seconds. Submerge the viscosity measuring
cup in the material to fill it. Time how long it takes for all the material to flow out of the cup (Figure 2).
Use the following recommendations as a guide, but also consult the manufacturers instructions on the material you
wish to use to find out if the material needs to be diluted.
Recommendations:
Water-based paint and emulsions 25-50 seconds
Enamel paint and water- and solvent-based coloured lacquer 45-50 seconds
Varnish use undiluted
Primers 45-50 seconds
Wood coating, colouring agent, oil, disinfectants, phytosanitary products use undiluted
Follow these instructions only if there are no specific instructions for the material you wish to use. If the material you
wish to use has its own instructions, follow them.
USING THE DEVICE

Before plugging the device into the mains, make sure that the voltage of the power outlet corresponds to the voltage
on the label with the technical characteristics of Paint Zoom.
- Attach the carrying strap.

- Unscrew the container from the spray gun.
- Align the suction tube (Figure 3). If the suction tube is positioned correctly, the contents of the container can be sprayed
with hardly any residue. When spraying horizontal surfaces, turn the suction tube forward (Figure 3A). When spraying
objects overhead, turn the suction tube backward (Figure 3B).
- Set the container on a sheet of paper and fill with the prepared coating material.
- Mount the flexible air hose. Insert the air hose into the connection of the main unit and the spray gun handle
(Figure 4).
- Place the spray gun in the gun holder on the main unit.
- Place the device on a clean, level surface to keep the gun from sucking in dust and dirt.
- Carry the device using the carrying strap.
- Point the spray gun at the surface to be sprayed.
- To determine the volume of material and the spray pattern, test the spray on a piece of cardboard or any surface similar
to the one you wish to spray.
- Press the ON/OFF to begin using Paint Zoom.
Spray Settings
There are three spray settings:
1. Vertical flat jet for horizontal surfaces (Figure 5A)
2. Horizontal flat jet for vertical surfaces (Figure 5B)
3. Circular jet for corners, edges and hard-to-reach areas (Figure 5C)
Adjusting the Spray Setting

With the union nut slightly unscrewed, turn the air cap to the desired spray setting and tighten the union nut (Figure 6).
Never press the trigger of the spray gun when adjusting the air cap.
Spraying Technique
- For best results, make sure that the surface is completely clean and level before spraying. Carefully pre-treat the
surface if necessary.
- Cover all surfaces that you do not want to spray, including screws and screw threads.
- To determine the amount of material and the spray pattern, test the spray on a piece of cardboard or any surface
similar to the one you wish to spray. Always start spraying outside the target area. Avoid interruptions within the target
area.
- Make the spray movement with your arm and not your wrist. This ensures that a uniform distance is maintained between
the spray gun and the spray surface. Select a distance of 5 cm to 15 cm, depending on the desired width of the spray
jet. Figure 8A shows the correct position, where there is a uniform distance from the spray surface. Figure 8B shows
the incorrect position, where there is an irregular distance from the spray surface.
- Point the spray gun at a uniform distance from the spray surface. Spray horizontally or from top to bottom, depending
on the selected spray setting.
- Move the spray gun evenly to get an even coating.
- If the coating material accumulates in the nozzle and air cap, clean both parts with water or solvent.
PAUSING THE DEVICE

Do the following if you need to stop using the device for a period of no more than 4 hours:
- Turn off the device.
- Place the spray gun in the gun holder.
- When using 2-component varnishes, clean the device immediately.
TURNING OFF AND CLEANING THE DEVICE

Clean the device carefully to keep it working properly.
- Unplug the device from the mains. Before long pauses and after finishing the paint job, flush the air in the container.
Do this by keeping the container open for short period of time and closing it again or by pulling the trigger of the spray
gun and pouring all the remaining material back into its original container.
- Disassemble the spray gun.
- Unscrew the container. Pour all the remaining coating material back into its original container.
- Clean the container and suction tube with a brush. Clean the air vent (Figure 9-8).
- Pour solvent or water into the container and screw it back on. Only use solvents with a flash point over 21C.
- Reassemble the spray gun (Figure 9).
- Plug the device into the mains, turn on the device and spray the solvent or water on a container or cloth.
- Turn off the device and unplug it from the mains.
- Unscrew the container and empty it. Remove the suction tube with the nozzle joint.
- Pull the ventilation tube (Figure 9A-12) up from the body of the spray gun. Unscrew the valve cover (Figure 9A-13)
and remove the membrane (Figure 9A-14). Clean all the parts carefully.
- Unscrew the union nut and remove the air cap and nozzle. Clean the air cap, nozzle joint and nozzle with a brush and
water or solvent. Do not clean the joints, the membrane, the openings of the nozzle or the air vents of the spray gun
with pointed metal objects.
- Clean the outside of the spray gun with a cloth and solvent or water.
- Reassemble the parts.
Maintenance
Air Cap / Nozzle - Remove the air cap and nozzle from the gun and immerse it in clean solvent. Blow it dry with
compressed air. If the small holes become clogged, soak the cap in clean solvent. If reaming the holes is necessary,
use a toothpick, a broom straw or some other soft implement.
Do not clean holes with a wire, a nail or a similar hard object. Doing so could permanently damage the cap by enlarging
the jets, resulting in a defective spray pattern.
Storage
Storing the spray gun with bit of clean solvent in the air cap and nozzle will keep the guns needle packing from drying
and cracking, causing possible air and/or fluid leaks.
ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE

Use the device only with the membrane intact (Figure 9A-14). Place the membrane on the lower part of the valve with
the pin facing up. Look at the marking on the body of the spray gun. Carefully place the cover of the valve and screw
on while pressing. Insert the ventilation tube through the cover of the valve and through the filter in the body of the spray
gun. Place the nozzle joint with the slot in front of the nozzle (Figure 9B).
Insert the nozzle in the body of the spray gun and turn to the correct position. Place the air cap in the nozzle and fasten
with the union nut.
Insert the container joint below the suction tube and slide them together. To do this, gently turn the container joint and
insert the suction tube with the container joint in the body of the spray gun.

Gracias por la compra de su pistola de pulverizacin Paint Zoom. Antes de empezar a utilizarla, le rogamos leer
atentamente a fondo las instrucciones de uso, as como todas las indicaciones de seguridad. Guarde el manual en un
lugar accesible para su uso futuro.
INDICACIONES GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD

Los errores cometidos por no observar las siguientes instrucciones pueden causar descarga elctrica, fuego o incluso
graves lesiones. Las substancias que se utilizan con esta pistola de pulverizacin (disolventes, pinturas, etc.) pueden
contener materiales peligrosos, dainos, explosivos o corrosivos.
1. Puesto de Trabajo
- Mantenga su rea de trabajo limpia y ordenada, el desorden y la falta de iluminacin pueden causar accidentes.
- Evite trabajar con el Paint Zoom en ambientes con peligro de explosin, donde se encuentran lquidos, gases o polvos
inflamables.
- Asegrese que durante la pulverizacin en el entorno no deben haber focos de ignicin como sean fuego de llama
libre, humo de cigarrillos, chispas, alambres incandescentes y superficies calientes.
- Para evitar el peligro de explosin durante los trabajos de pulverizacin debe siempre asegurarse de que hay una
buena aireacin, ya sea natural o artificial.
- Cubra muy bien las superficies que no van a ser pulverizadas. Tenga en cuenta que por medio del viento, la niebla
de pintura puede transportarse a ms grandes distancias pudiendo de esta manera causar daos.
2. Seguridad Elctrica
- Evite el contacto con superficies puestas a tierra, tales como tuberas, calefactores y neveras ya que existe el riesgo
por descarga elctrica si su cuerpo tiene contacto a tierra.
- Bajo ninguna circunstancia deber modificarse el enchufe original del pulverizador. Tampoco deber utilizar enchufes
adaptadores junto con los equipos con proteccin a tierra. Los enchufes originales disminuyen el riesgo de una descarga
elctrica. No utilice el aparato en el caso de que el interruptor est defectuoso.
- Mantenga el equipo alejado de la lluvia o la humedad ya que la penetracin de agua en cualquier aparato elctrico
aumenta el riesgo de una descarga elctrica.
- No utilice el cable para otros fines extraos. Mantenga el cable alejado de fuentes de calor, aceite, cantos cortantes
o componentes movibles. Los cables deteriorados o enredados aumentan el riesgo de una descarga elctrica.
- Cuando trabaje al aire libre, utilice exclusivamente los cables de prolongacin que estn permitidos para zonas
exteriores.
3. Seguridad de Personas
- Preste mucha atencin a lo que est haciendo y proceda conscientemente al trabajar con Paint Zoom. En caso de
que se encuentre cansado o est bajo el efecto de drogas, alcohol o medicamentos NO UTILIZE el aparato. Un solo
momento de descuido durante la utilizacin del equipo puede dar lugar a serias lesiones.
- Utilice proteccin respiratoria. Las nieblas de pintura y los vapores disolventes son perjudiciales para la salud.
- Mantener a los nios y otras personas alejados de este aparato durante el uso ya que al distraerse puede perder el
control sobre el aparato.
- Evite la puesta en marcha sin querer. Asegrese que el interruptor est en la posicin OFF antes de enchufar el
aparato. Si al trasladar el equipo, tiene el dedo puesto en el interruptor o conecta el equipo a la alimentacin de corriente
con el interruptor en ON, pueden producirse accidentes.
- Trate de estar seguramente apostado y mantenga en todo momento el equilibrio, de esta manera podr controlar
mejor el aparato en situaciones inesperadas.
- Use indumentaria protectora personal y siempre gafas protectoras. Se recomienda el uso de indumentaria como
mascarilla antipolvo, guantes, zapatos de seguridad antideslizantes, casco protector, proteccin de los odos para
disminuir el riesgo de lesiones. Es importante vaya bien cubierto a la hora de pintar con Paint Zoom para no manchar
su ropa, su pelo o su piel.
- No use ropa amplia o bisutera y mantenga el cabello, la ropa y los guantes alejados de las partes que estn en
movimiento ya que ests podran quedar atrapadas en el aparato.
- No dirija el chorro de pintura a personas o animales.
- El Paint Zoom no deber ser utilizado por personas (inclusive nios) de capacidad fsica, sensorial o mental limitada
o que no disponen de experiencia y/o conocimientos; a no ser que sean supervisados por una persona responsable
por su seguridad, o que reciban de ellas las instrucciones necesarias para utilizar el equipo. Los nios no deben jugar
con el aparato.
4. Utilizacin adecuada
- Deben procesarse materiales nicamente recomendados para pintura en pistola.
- Las pistolas de pulverizacin no deben limpiarse con disolventes inflamables que tienen un punto de inflamacin
inferior a 21C.
- Las pistolas de pulverizacin no deben utilizarse para pulverizar sustancias inflamables.
- Nunca pulverice materiales cuyo grado de peligrosidad no es conocido.
- Las botellas de pulverizacin no deben utilizarse en locales industriales que entran en la ordenanza de proteccin
contra explosiones.
- Preste atencin a los peligros que pueden proceder del material pulverizado y observe igualmente las indicaciones
en las etiquetas de los depsitos, o a las instrucciones del fabricante del material pulverizable.
- Preste atencin a los vapores de disolvente para que no sean aspirados por el equipo. No dirija el chorro de
pulverizacin al equipo!
- Si la pintura sube al tubo de ventilacin (figura 9A-12) no continuar utilizando el aparato. En este caso deber desmontar
el tubo de ventilacin, la vlvula (figura 9A-13) y la membrana (figura 9A-14), limpiar y en caso de que sea necesario,
sustituir la membrana.
- El Paint Zoom dispone de un termo fusible que, en caso de sobrecalentamiento desconecta el equipo. Si se ha
disparado, apagar el equipo, extraer la clavija de red y dejar que se enfri por lo menos durante 30 minutos. Para
eliminar la causa del sobrecalentamiento, verifique por ejemplo si la manguera est doblada, si el filtro de aire est
sucio o si las ranuras de circulacin de aire estn obstruidas.
5. Servicio
- Disponga la reparacin del Paint Zoom nicamente a travs del personal cualificado y siempre empleando piezas de
recambio originales.
- Si el cable de conexin de red se daa, debe ser reemplazado por el fabricante o su servicio posventa, o bien por
una persona cualificada semejante, para evitar riesgos.

TIPOS DE MATERIALES
Use material recomendado para uso en pistola.
Preparacin del material de recubrimiento
Con la pieza sobrepuesta para pulverizacin pueden pulverizarse pinturas, lacas y barnices, sin diluir o ligeramente
diluidos.
Si la pintura necesita dilucin, empiece con una dilucin de un 10% de la pintura. Hgalo llenando un recipiente de un
litro con la pintura a utilizar. Tenga en cuenta que la cubeta de viscosidad tiene capacidad para un decilitro as que,
tape el agujero y llnelo con el diluente necesario. Adalo a la pintura y remueva bien. Luego, mida la viscosidad
siguiendo la informacin recomendada a continuacin. En el caso de que la pintura necesite ms dilucin, dilyala otro
5% (la mitad de la capacidad de la cubeta) y mida la viscosidad. Si la pintura an no se encuentra en la viscosidad
recomendada repita el paso anterior hasta obtener la viscosidad adecuada.
Esta pistola se puede usar con productos con una viscosidad de un ndice de 25 hasta un mximo de 50 segundos.
Sumerja la cubeta de viscosidad en el material y llnelo. Luego, cronometre cuanto tiempo tarda en vaciarse la cubeta
(figura 2). A parte de estas recomendaciones, deber consultar tambin las instrucciones del fabricante del material,
como gua para determinar si el material necesita ms dilucin.
Recomendaciones:
Pintura al agua y emulsiones 25-50 segundos
Esmaltes, lacas de color con disolvente o solubles en agua 45-50 segundos
Barnices sin diluir
Imprimaciones 45-50 segundos
Impregnantes para madera, colorantes, aceites, desinfectantes, productos fitosanitarios sin diluir
Utilice las instrucciones facilitadas con este manual nicamente si el material que desea utilizar no est acompaado
de instrucciones de uso. En caso contrario, siga las instrucciones proporcionadas con el material.
PUESTA EN SERVICIO
Antes de conectar el aparato a la red de alimentacin, asegrese de que la tensin de la red coincida con los datos
indicados en la etiqueta de caractersticas tcnicas del Paint Zoom.
- Empiece por instalar la correa de transporte en el aparato

- Desatornillar el depsito de la pistola de pulverizacin.
- Alinear el tubo de subida (figura 3). Con el tubo de subida en correcta posicin, el contenido del depsito puede
pulverizarse casi sin resto. Para trabajos en objetos tendidos deber girar el tubo de subida hacia delante (figura 3A).
Para trabajos de pulverizacin en objetos por en cima de la cabeza deber girar el tubo de subida haca atrs (figura
3B).
- Poner el depsito sobre una base de papel y llenar con el material de pulverizacin.
- Montar el tubo flexible de aire en el empalme del equipo y del mango de la pistola (figura 4).
- Poner la pistola de pulverizacin en el soporte de la pistola del equipo.
- Colocar el equipo sobre una superficie lisa y limpia ya que de otro modo podr aspirar polvo, etc.
- Colgar el aparato con la correa de transporte.
Dirigir la pistola al objeto a pulverizar.
- Se recomienda hacer una prueba de pulverizacin sobre un cartn o sobre un fondo semejante al que desea pulverizar.
As podr determinar la cantidad de material y la proyeccin del pulverizado.
- Accione el botn ON/OFF y empiece a utilizar el Paint Zoom.

Con la tuerca tapn ligeramente aflojada, gire la tapa de aire a la posicin de proyeccin del pulverizado deseada
(figura 6). Luego vuelva a apretar de nuevo la tuerca tapn.
Nunca apretar el gatillo de la pistola durante el ajuste de la tapa de aire.
Ajuste de la cantidad de material

Para ajustar la cantidad de material, gire el elemento regulador en el gatillo de la pistola:
-para menos cantidad de material, giro a la izquierda
-para ms cantidad de material, giro a la derecha (figura 7)
Tcnicas de pulverizacin
- Para asegurar un buen resultado, es esencial que la superficie est completamente limpia y lisa antes de la pulverizacin.
Se aconseja someter la superficie a un cuidadoso tratamiento previo.
Cubrir todas las superficies que no desea pulverizar, incluyendo roscas y tornillos.
- Realizar una prueba de pulverizacin sobre cartn o sobre un fondo semejante antes de empezar a utilizar el producto,
de esta forma podr determinar con ms seguridad el ajuste adecuado de la pistola. Igualmente se recomienda empezar
con el pulverizado fuera de la superficie y evitar siempre interrupciones dentro de la superficie de pulverizacin.
- El desplazamiento del pulverizado no deber provenir de la mueca sino del brazo, de esta manera se asegura
siempre la misma distancia entre la pistola y la superficie. Elija una distancia de 5-15cm, segn la anchura deseada
del chorro de pulverizado. La (figura 8A) indica la posicin correcta, en la cual la distancia al objeto es uniforme; en
cambio la (figura 8B) ensea la posicin incorrecta ya que la distancia desigual da lugar a un laqueado irregular.
- Dirija la pistola de pulverizacin uniformemente en sentido transversal o arriba y abajo, segn el ajuste de la proyeccin
del pulverizado.
-Una conduccin uniforme de la pistola de pulverizacin tiene como resultado una superficie de calidad uniforme.
- Si el material de recubrimiento se acumula en la boquilla y la tapa de aire, limpiar ambas partes con disolvente o agua.
INTERRUPCIN DE SERVICIO
Si necesita interrumpir el uso del aparato por un perodo de tiempo no superior a 4h:
- Apagar el equipo.
- Introducir la pistola de pulverizacin en el soporte de pistola.
- En el procesamiento de lacas bicomponentes el equipo se tiene que limpiar inmediatamente.
PUESTA FUERA DE SERVICIO

Para el correcto funcionamiento del aparato, es esencial una limpieza apropiada. Le aconsejamos:
- Extraer la clavija de red. Durante pausas prolongadas y despus de terminado el trabajo, purgar el aire de los depsitos.
Para tal, abra el depsito por corto perodo de tiempo y volvindolo a cerrar, o apretando el gatillo de la pistola y vaciando
la pintura al envase original.
- Desmontar la pistola.
- Desenroscar el recipiente. Vaciar el resto del material de recubrimiento de vuelta al envase.
- Limpiar con un pincel el depsito y el tubo de subida. Limpiar el taladro de purga de aire (figura 9-8).
- Llenar disolvente o agua en el recipiente y enroscarlo. Se pueden procesar nicamente disolventes con un punto de
inflamacin por encima de 21C.
- Volver a montar la pistola (figura 9).
- Enchufar la clavija de red, encender el equipo y pulverizar disolvente o agua en un recipiente o un pao.
- Apagar el equipo y extraer la clavija de red.
- Desenroscar el depsito y vaciarlo. Sacar el tubo de subida con junta de depsito.
- Tirar el tubo de ventilacin (figura 9A-12) arriba del cuerpo de pistola. Desenroscar la tapa de vlvula (figura 9A-13)
y sacar la membrana (figura 9A-14). Limpiar cuidadosamente todas las partes.
- Desenroscar la tuerca tapn, quitar la tapa de aire y la boquilla. Limpiar con un pincel y disolvente, o agua, la tapa
de aire, la junta de boquilla y la boquilla. No es aconsejable limpiar las juntas, la membrana y los orificios de boquillas
o taladros de aire de la pistola de pulverizacin con objetos de metal puntiagudos.
- Limpiar exteriormente la pistola de pulverizacin con un pao empapado con disolvente o agua.
- Montar de nuevo las partes (vase apartado Montaje).
Mantenimiento
Tapa de aire / Boquilla Retire la tapa de aire y la boquilla de la pistola y sumrjala en disolvente limpio. Squela con
aire comprimido. Si se obstruyen los pequeos orificios, introduzca tambin la tapa de aire en disolvente. Si fuese
necesario escariar los orificios, use un palillo, una caa o cualquier otro material que no sea muy duro.
No limpie los orificios con cables, clavos ni ningn objeto de dureza similar. Si no sigue estas indicaciones, se podra
daar la tapa de forma permanente, haciendo ms grandes los chorros y el resultado de la pulverizacin podra ser
defectuoso.
Almacenamiento
Guarde la pistola de pulverizacin con un poco de disolvente en la tapa de aire y la boquilla para evitar que la aguja
de la pistola se seque o se rompa, lo que conllevara posibles prdidas de aire o de lquidos.
MONTAJE
El equipo debe utilizarse nicamente con la membrana intacta (figura 9A -14). Colocar la membrana con la espiga hacia
arriba sobre la parte inferior de la vlvula. Vase tambin la marca en el cuerpo de pistola. Poner la tapa de vlvula
con cuidado y enroscar apretando. Insertar el tubo de ventilacin en la tapa de vlvula y el racor en el cuerpo de pistola.
Deslizar la junta de boquilla con muesca delante a la boquilla (figura 9B).
Insertar la boquilla en el cuerpo de pistola y mediante giro localizar la posicin correcta. Calar la tapa de aire en la
boquilla y apretarla con la tuerca tapn.
Por fin, introducir la junta de depsito por abajo al tubo de subida y deslizarla hasta la unin. Para ello, girar ligeramente
la junta de depsito e insertar el tubo de subida con junta de depsito en el cuerpo de pistola.

endroit accessible pour le consulter ultrieurement.
INDICATIONS GNRALES DE SCURIT

Les erreurs dues la non-observation des instructions ci-dessous peuvent entraner une dcharge lectrique, un
incendie ou des lsions graves. Les substances utilises avec ce pistolet de pulvrisation (dissolvants, peintures, etc.)
peuvent contenir des matriaux dangereux, nocifs, explosifs ou corrosifs.
1. Lieu de travail
- Lendroit o vous allez travailler doit tre propre et bien rang, car le dsordre et le manque de clart peuvent tre
sources daccidents.
- vitez dutiliser le pistolet Paint Zoom dans des endroits prsentant un risque dexplosion, contenant des liquides, des
gaz ou des poudres inflammables.
- Lors de la pulvrisation, assurez-vous de labsence prs de vous de foyers dignition, tels quun feu flamme libre,
des cigarettes, des tincelles, des fils de fer incandescents et des surfaces chaudes.
- Pour viter tout risque dexplosion pendant les travaux de pulvrisation, assurez-vous que la ventilation naturelle ou
artificielle est suffisante.
- Recouvrez bien les surfaces que vous ne souhaitez pas pulvriser. En effet, avec le vent, le nuage de peinture peut
se dplacer sur de grandes distances et causer ainsi des dommages.
2. Scurit lectrique
- vitez le contact avec des surfaces relies la terre, telles que des tuyauteries, des radiateurs et des rfrigrateurs,
car il existe un risque de dcharge lectrique si votre corps est en contact avec la terre.
- Ne modifiez en aucun cas la prise dorigine du pulvrisateur et nutilisez pas dadaptateurs avec les appareils relis
la terre. Les prises dorigine rduisent le risque de dcharge lectrique. Nutilisez pas le pulvrisateur si linterrupteur
est dfectueux.
- vitez que lappareil nentre en contact avec la pluie ou lhumidit, car la prsence deau dans un appareil lectrique
augmente le risque de dcharge lectrique.
- N'utilisez pas le cble pour dautres fins que celles auxquelles il est destin. vitez d'approcher le cble de sources
de chaleur, dhuile, de bords coupants ou de composants mobiles. Les cbles endommags ou emmls augmentent
le risque de dcharge lectrique.
- Lorsque vous travaillez l'air libre, utilisez uniquement des rallonges adaptes une utilisation lextrieur.
3. Scurit des personnes

- Lorsque vous utilisez le pistolet Paint Zoom, prtez attention ce que vous faites. N'UTILISEZ PAS l'appareil si vous
vous sentez fatigu(e) ou si vous tes sous l'effet de drogues, d'alcool ou de mdicaments. Un seul moment d'inattention
peut entraner des lsions graves.
- Utilisez une protection respiratoire, car les nuages de peinture et les vapeurs de dissolvant sont nuisibles la sant.
- Pendant que vous travaillez, loignez les enfants et toute autre personne qui pourrait vous distraire et vous faire perdre
le contrle de l'appareil.
- Pour viter la mise en marche accidentelle de l'appareil, vrifiez que l'interrupteur se trouve sur la position OFF avant
de le brancher. Si, lorsque vous dplacez l'appareil, votre doigt se trouve sur linterrupteur ou si vous placez
accidentellement l'interrupteur sur la position ON, qui dclenche l'alimentation lectrique, des accidents peuvent se
produire.
- Faites en sorte de rester bien ferme sur vos jambes et de ne pas perdre l'quilibre afin de bien contrler l'appareil.
- Portez des vtements et des lunettes de protection. Afin de rduire le risque de lsions, il est galement recommand
d'utiliser un masque anti-poussire, des gants, des chaussures de scurit antidrapantes, un casque de protection et
un systme de protection des oreilles. Il est important de couvrir votre corps au maximum pour viter de tacher vos
vtements, vos cheveux ou votre peau.
- Ne portez pas de vtements amples ni de bijoux, et prenez soin d'loigner vos cheveux, vos vtements et vos gants
des parties en mouvement pour viter qu'ils ne restent coincs dans l'appareil.
- Ne dirigez pas le jet de peinture vers des personnes ou des animaux.
- Le pistolet Paint Zoom ne doit pas tre utilis par des enfants, ni par des personnes dont les capacits physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales sont limites, qui sont inexprimentes et ne possdent aucune connaissance de lappareil,
sauf si elles sont supervises par une personne responsable de leur scurit ou si cette dernire leur fournit les
instructions ncessaires pour utiliser le pistolet. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec le pistolet.
4. Utilisation incorrecte
- Seuls des matriaux recommands pour la peinture au pistolet doivent tre utiliss.
- Ne nettoyez pas les pistolets de pulvrisation avec des dissolvants inflammables dont le point dinflammation est
infrieur 21C.
- Les pistolets de pulvrisation ne doivent pas tre utiliss pour pulvriser des substances inflammables.
- Ne pulvrisez pas des matriaux dont vous ignorez le degr de dangerosit.
- Les bouteilles de pulvrisation ne doivent pas tre utilises dans des locaux industriels rgis par une ordonnance de
protection contre les explosions.
- Prtez attention aux dangers du matriau pulvris et respectez les indications des tiquettes ou les instructions du
fabricant du matriau pulvriser.
- Veillez ce que les vapeurs de dissolvant ne soient pas aspires par l'appareil. Ne dirigez pas le jet de pulvrisation
vers l'appareil.
- Si la peinture remonte le long du tuyau de ventilation (figure 9A-12), cessez dutiliser le pistolet, dmontez le tuyau,
la vanne (figure 9A-13), et la membrane (figure 9A-14), nettoyez-les et, si cela est ncessaire, remplacez la membrane.
- Le pistolet Paint Zoom est dot dun thermofusible qui le dconnecte en cas de surchauffe. Si cela se produit, teignez
l'appareil, dbranchez la prise et laissez refroidir l'appareil pendant environ 30 minutes. Pour liminer la cause de la
surchauffe, vrifiez si le tuyau est pli, si le filtre air est sale ou si les rainures de circulation d'air sont obstrues.
5. Service
- Le pistolet Paint Zoom doit uniquement tre rpar par du personnel qualifi et seules des pices de rechange d'origine
peuvent tre utilises.
- Si le cble de connexion au rseau lectrique est endommag, il doit tre remplac par le fabricant ou son service
aprs-vente, ou par une personne qualifie afin d'viter tout risque.

TYPES DE MATRIAUX
Dans votre pistolet, utilisez uniquement des matriaux recommands.
Prparation du matriau de recouvrement
La pice de pulvrisation vous permet de pulvriser des peintures, des laques et des vernis non dilus ou lgrement
dilus. Procdez comme suit :
Si la peinture doit tre dilue, commencez par une dilution de 10%. Pour cela, versez dans un rcipient dun litre la
peinture utiliser. Puisque le bac de viscosit a une capacit dun dcilitre, fermez lorifice et versez la quantit de
diluant ncessaire, puis ajoutez-le la peinture et remuez bien. Mesurez la viscosit de la peinture en fonction des
informations que vous trouverez ci-dessous. Si la peinture doit tre dilue davantage, faites une dilution supplmentaire
de 5% (la moiti de la capacit du bac), puis mesurez de nouveau la viscosit. Si la peinture na pas atteint le point de
viscosit recommand, recommencez lopration jusqu obtenir la viscosit requise.
Ce pistolet peut tre utilis avec des produits ayant une viscosit de 25 50 secondes maximum. Plongez le bac de
viscosit dans le matriau et remplissez-le. Ensuite, chronomtrez le temps que le bac met se vider (figure 2). Outre
ces recommandations, consultez galement les instructions du fabricant du matriau afin de dterminer le niveau de
dilution du matriau.
Recommandations:
Peinture leau et mulsions: 25-50 secondes
mail, laques de couleur avec dissolvant ou solubles dans leau: 45-50 secondes
Vernis non dilus
Enduits: 45-50 secondes
Agents dimprgnation pour bois, colorants, huiles, dsinfectants, produits phytosanitaires non dilus
Si le matriel que vous souhaitez utiliser nest pas accompagn dun mode demploi, suivez ces instructions. Dans le
cas contraire, suivez les instructions fournies avec le matriel.
MISE EN SERVICE
Avant de connecter l'appareil au rseau lectrique, vrifiez que la tension d'alimentation correspond celle indique
sur l'tiquette des caractristiques techniques du pistolet Paint Zoom.
- Installez la sangle de transport sur l'appareil
- Dvissez le rservoir du pistolet de pulvrisation.
- Alignez le tuyau de monte (figure 3). Lorsquil est plac correctement, le contenu du rservoir peut tre pulvris
dans sa quasi-totalit. Pour travailler sur des objets couchs, faites tourner le tuyau de monte vers l'avant (figure 3A).
Pour pulvriser des objets situs au-dessus de votre tte, faites tourner le tuyau de monte vers l'arrire (figure 3B).
- Placez le rservoir sur un support en papier et remplissez-le avec le matriau de pulvrisation.
- Montez le tuyau dair flexible sur le raccord de l'appareil et le manche du pistolet (figure 4).
- Placez le pistolet de pulvrisation dans le support de l'appareil prvu cet effet.
- Posez l'appareil sur une surface lisse et propre pour viter qu'il n'aspire de la poussire.
- Accrochez l'appareil au moyen de la sangle de transport.
- Dirigiez le pistolet vers l'objet pulvriser.
- Faites un essai de pulvrisation sur un morceau de carton sur un fond semblable celui que vous souhaitez pulvriser.
Cela vous permettra de dterminer la quantit de matriaux et la projection de la pulvrisation.
- Placez l'interrupteur sur la position ON et commencez utiliser le pistolet Paint Zoom.
Slection de la projection de la pulvrisation

Les trois formes diffrentes de jets de pulvrisation sont les suivantes:
1. Jet en ventail vertical, pour surfaces horizontales (figure 5A)
2. Jet en ventail horizontal, pour surfaces verticales (figure 5B)
3. Jet rond, pour les angles et les surfaces difficiles d'accs (figure 5C)
Rglage de la projection de la pulvrisation

Dvissez lgrement l'crou du couvercle dair, puis faites tourner ce dernier sur la position de projection de pulvrisation
souhaite (figure 6). Resserrez lcrou du couvercle.

N'appuyez pas sur la dtente du pistolet pendant que vous rglez le couvercle dair.
Rglage de la quantit de matriau

Pour rgler la quantit de matriau, faites tourner le bouton situ sur la dtente du pistolet, comme suit:
- gauche, pour rduire la quantit
- droite, pour augmenter la quantit (figure 7).
Techniques de pulvrisation
- Pour obtenir un bon rsultat, la surface pulvriser doit tre entirement propre et lisse. Il est conseill de lui appliquer
un traitement pralable.
- Recouvrez toutes les surfaces que vous ne voulez pas pulvriser, y compris les parties filetes et les vis.
- Pour dterminer la quantit de matriaux et la projection de la pulvrisation, faites un essai de pulvrisation sur un morceau
de carton ou sur un fond semblable celui que vous souhaitez pulvriser. De mme, il est recommand de commencer la
pulvrisation l'extrieur de la surface pulvriser et d'viter les interruptions de pulvrisation sur cette surface.
- Pour dplacer le pistolet, ralisez le mouvement avec votre bras, et non avec votre poignet, pour que la distance entre
le pistolet et la surface reste toujours la mme. La distance entre le pistolet et la surface doit tre de 5 15 cm, en
fonction de la largeur du jet de pulvrisation souhaite. La position correcte est indique sur la (figure 8A), avec une
distance avec l'objet uniforme. La (figure 8B) illustre une position incorrecte, o la distance ingale entrane une
pulvrisation irrgulire.
- Dirigez le pistolet de pulvrisation de faon uniforme dans le sens transversal, vers le bas ou vers le haut, en fonction
du rglage de la projection de la pulvrisation.
- Un dplacement uniforme du pistolet de pulvrisation permet d'obtenir une surface de qualit uniforme.
- Si le matriau de recouvrement s'accumule dans la buse et dans le couvercle dair, nettoyez les avec du dissolvant
ou de l'eau.
INTERRUPTION DE SERVICE
Pour interrompre l'utilisation de l'appareil pendant une dure infrieure 4h,procdez comme suit:
- teignez l'appareil.
- Introduisez le pistolet de pulvrisation dans son support.
Si vous utilisez des laques deux composants, vous devez nettoyer immdiatement l'appareil.
MISE HORS SERVICE

Pour que l'appareil fonctionne correctement, il est essentiel de bien le nettoyer. Pour cela, suivez les instructions
ci-dessous:
- Dbranchez la fiche de connexion au rseau. En cas de pause prolonge ou lorsque vous avez termin de travailler,
purger l'air des rservoirs. Pour cela, ouvrez le rservoir pendant un instant et refermez-le, ou appuyez sur la dtente
du pistolet et videz la peinture dans son pot d'origine.
- Dmontez le pistolet.
- Dvissez le rservoir et videz le reste du matriau de recouvrement dans son pot.
- Nettoyez le rservoir et le tuyau de monte avec un pinceau, puis nettoyez l'orifice de purge dair (figure 9-8).
- Remplissez le rservoir de dissolvant ou deau, puis revissez-le. Seuls des dissolvants avec un point d'inflammation
suprieur 21C peuvent tre utiliss.
- Remontez le pistolet (figure 9).
- Branchez la prise, allumez l'appareil et pulvrisez le dissolvant ou l'eau dans un rcipient ou sur un chiffon.
- teignez l'appareil et dbranchez la prise.
- Dvissez le rservoir et videz-le. Retirez le tuyau de monte et le joint du rservoir.
- Tirez sur le tuyau de ventilation (figure 9A-12) au-dessus du corps du pistolet. Dvissez le couvercle de la vanne
(figure 9A-13) et retirez la membrane (figure 9A-14), puis nettoyez soigneusement toutes les parties.
- Dvissez lcrou du couvercle, puis retirez le couvercle dair et la buse. Nettoyez ces lments avec un pinceau et du
dissolvant ou de leau. Il nest pas recommand de nettoyer les joints, la membrane et les orifices des buses et d'air du
pistolet de pulvrisation avec des objets en mtal pointus.
- Nettoyez lextrieur du pistolet de pulvrisation avec un chiffon tremp dans le dissolvant ou dans l'eau.
- Remontez les parties.
Entretien
Couvercle dair / Buse Retirez le couvercle dair et la buse du pistolet et plongez cette dernire dans du dissolvant
propre, puis schez-la avec de lair comprim. Si les petits orifices sont bouchs, plongez galement le couvercle dans
du dissolvant. Si cela est ncessaire, grattez les orifices au moyen dune baguette, une tige ou tout autre matriau pas
trop dur.
Ne nettoyez pas les orifices au moyen de cbles, de clous ou dautres objets aussi durs. Si vous ne respectez pas ces
indications, cela risque dendommager de faon irrversible le couvercle. Les orifices et les jets pourraient donc tre
plus importants et le rsultat de la pulvrisation pourrait tre dcevant.
Rangement
Lorsque vous rangez le pistolet de pulvrisation, mettez une petite quantit de dissolvant dans le couvercle dair et la
buse pour viter que laiguille du pistolet ne sche ou ne se casse, ce qui pourrait entraner la perte dair ou un coulement
de liquide.
MONTAGE
L'appareil doit uniquement tre utilis lorsque la membrane est intacte (figure 9A-14). Placez la membrane, dont la
cheville doit tre dirige vers le haut, sur la partie infrieure de la vanne (cherchez la marque sur le corps du pistolet).
Remettez soigneusement en place le couvercle de la vanne et vissez-le en appuyant. Insrez le tuyau de ventilation
dans le couvercle de la vanne et le raccord dans le corps du pistolet. Faites glisser le joint de la buse de sorte que
l'encoche se trouve face la buse (figure 9B).
Insrez la buse dans le corps du pistolet et faites-la tourner jusqu' trouver la position correcte. Embotez le couvercle
dair sur la buse et serrez son crou.
Pour terminer, introduisez le joint du rservoir sous le tuyau de monte et faites-le glisser jusqu'au niveau de l'union.

Pour cela, faites tourner lgrement le joint du rservoir et insrez le tuyau de monte et le joint du rservoir dans le
corps du pistolet.

Gebrauch an einem zugnglichen Ort auf.
ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITSANWEISUNGEN
Strungen aufgrund der Nichtbeachtung der nachstehenden Anweisungen knnen zu Stromschlag, Brand und sogar
zu schweren Verletzungen fhren. Die mit dieser Spritzpistole verarbeiteten Materialien (Lsungsmittel, Lacke usw.)
knnen gefhrliche, schdliche, explosionsgefhrliche oder tzende Stoffe enthalten.
1. Arbeitsplatz
- Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber und aufgerumt, Unordnung und mangelnde Beleuchtung kann Unflle
verursachen.
- Vermeiden Sie den Einsatz von Paint Zoom in Umgebungen mit Explosionsgefahr, in denen sich brennbare Flssigkeiten,
Gase oder Staub befinden.
- Vergewissern Sie sich, dass whrend des Spritzauftrags keine Brandherde in der Umgebung vorhanden sind, wie
offene Flammen, Zigarettenglut, Funken, Glhdrhte und heie Flchen.
- Um die Explosionsgefahr bei Spritzarbeiten zu vermeiden ist stets fr eine gute natrliche oder knstliche Belftung
zu sorgen.
- Decken Sie die Flchen, die nicht gespritzt werden, sorgfltig ab. Denken Sie daran, dass der Farbnebel durch den
Wind auf weite Strecken verblasen wird und auf diese Weise Schden verursachen kann.
2. Elektrische Sicherheit
- Verhindern Sie die Berhrung von geerdeten Flchen wie Leitungen, Heizungsgerten und Khlschrnken; es besteht
Stromschlaggefahr, wenn Ihr Krper Kontakt zur Erde hat.
- Der Originalstecker des Zerstubergerts darf unter keinen Umstnden gendert werden. Es drfen auch keine
Adapterstecker zusammen mit geerdeten Gerten verwendet werden. Die Originalstecker verringern die Gefahr eines
Stromschlags. Verwenden Sie das Gert nicht, wenn der Stecker beschdigt ist.
- Halten Sie das Gert von Regen oder Feuchtigkeit fern: Bei allen Arten von Elektrogerten besteht bei Eindringen von
Wasser eine erhhte Stromschlaggefahr.
- Verwenden Sie das Kabel ausschlielich fr den vorgesehenen Zweck. Halten Sie es von Hitzequellen, l, scharfen
Kanten und beweglichen Komponenten fern. Beschdigte oder verknotete Kabel erhhen die Stromschlaggefahr.
- Zum Arbeiten im Freien drfen ausschlielich Verlngerungskabel verwendet werden, die fr den Auenbereich
zugelassen sind.
3. Sicherheit von Personen

- Konzentrieren Sie sich auf Ihre Ttigkeit und lassen Sie bei der Arbeit mit Paint Zoom bewusste Sorgfalt walten. Wenn
Sie mde sind oder unter Einfluss von Drogen, Alkohol oder Medikamenten stehen, drfen Sie das Gert NICHT
VERWENDEN. Ein einziger Augenblick der Unachtsamkeit bei der Verwendung des Gerts kann ernsthafte Verletzungen
verursachen.
- Verwenden Sie einen Atemschutz. Der Farbnebel und die Lsungsmitteldmpfe sind gesundheitsschdlich.
- Halten Sie Kinder und andere Personen bei der Verwendung dieses Gerts fern. Wenn Sie abgelenkt werden, knnen
Sie die Kontrolle ber das Gert verlieren.
- Vermeiden Sie ein unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Schalter auf der Position OFF
steht, bevor Sie das Gert einstecken. Wenn Sie beim Verbringen des Gerts den Finger auf dem Schalter haben oder
das Gert mit dem Schalter auf ON an die Stromversorgung anschlieen, kann es zu Unfllen kommen.
- Sorgen Sie stets fr einen sicheren Stand und versuchen Sie, jederzeit das Gleichgewicht zu halten; auf diese Weise
haben Sie in unerwarteten Situationen eine besseren Kontrolle ber das Gert.
- Legen Sie eine persnliche Schutzausrstung an und verwenden Sie immer eine Schutzbrille. Wir empfehlen auerdem
die Verwendung von Staubschutzmaske, Handschuhen, rutschfesten Sicherheitsschuhen, Schutzhelm und Gehrschutz,
um die Gefahr von Verletzungen zu reduzieren. Es ist wichtig, beim Arbeiten mit Paint Zoom fr eine gute Abdeckung
zu sorgen, damit Kleidung, Haare und Haut nicht beschmutzt werden.
- Vermeiden Sie weite, hngende Kleidung oder Schmuck und halten Sie Haare, Kleidung und Handschuhe von den
in Bewegung befindlichen Teilen fern um zu vermeiden, dass diese in das Gert eingezogen werden.
- Richten Sie den Spritzstrahl nicht auf Personen oder Tiere.
- Paint Zoom ist nicht zur Verwendung durch Personen (einschlielich Kinder) mit eingeschrnkten physischen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Fhigkeiten und ohne Erfahrung oder entsprechende Kenntnisse konstruiert. Sie bentigen
eine Aufsicht oder eine Einweisung in die Benutzung des Gerts durch eine fr ihre Sicherheit zustndige Person.
Kinder drfen nicht mit dem Gert spielen.
4. Zweckmige Verwendung
- Es drfen nur Materialien verarbeitet werden, die zum Lackieren mit einer Spritzpistole empfohlen werden.
- Die Spritzpistolen drfen nicht mit brennbaren Lsungsmitteln gereinigt werden, deren Flammpunkt unter 21C liegt.
- Die Spritzpistolen drfen nicht fr den Spritzauftrag von brennbaren Materialien verwendet werden.
- Spritzen Sie unter keinen Umstnden Materialien, deren Gefhrlichkeitsgrad nicht bekannt ist.
- Die Spritzbehlter drfen nicht in Gewerbegebuden eingesetzt werden, die unter die Explosionsschutzverordnung fallen.
- Achten Sie auf die Gefahren, die vom gespritzten Material ausgehen knnen, und beachten Sie auch die Anweisungen
auf den Schildern der Gebinde bzw. die Anweisungen des Herstellers des spritzbaren Materials.
- Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lsungsmitteldmpfe nicht vom Gert angesaugt werden. Richten Sie den Spritzstrahl
nicht auf das Gert!
- Wenn Farbe in den Belftungsschlauch aufsteigt (Abbildung 9A-12), das Gert nicht weiter verwenden. In diesem Fall
ist der Belftungsschlauch, das Ventil (Abbildung 9A-13), und die Membran (Abbildung 9A-14), auszubauen, zu reinigen
und gegebenenfalls die Membran auszutauschen.
- Paint Zoom ist mit einer Thermosicherung ausgestattet, die das Gert bei berhitzung abschaltet. Wenn die
Thermosicherung ausgelst hat, das Gert ausschalten, den Netzstecker ziehen und mindestens 30 Minuten abkhlen
lassen. Zur Beseitigung der Ursache der berhitzung berprfen Sie beispielsweise, ob der Schlauch geknickt oder

der Luftfilter verschmutzt ist oder ob die Luftleitkanle verstopft sind.
5. Betrieb
- Lassen Sie Paint Zoom nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal und stets unter Verwendung von Originalersatzteilen
reparieren.
- Ein beschdigtes Netzkabel muss vom Hersteller, dessen Kundendienst oder einer vergleichbar qualifizierten Fachkraft
repariert werden, um Risiken zu vermeiden.

ARTEN VON SPRITZMATERIAL

Verwenden Sie nur fr die Verarbeitung mit Spritzpistole empfohlenes Material.
Vorbereitung des Beschichtungsmaterials
Mit dem Sprhaufsatz knnen unverdnnte oder leicht verdnnte Farben und Lacke aufgetragen werden.
Wenn die Farbe verdnnt werden muss, beginnen Sie damit, die Farbe um 10% zu verdnnen. Fllen Sie dazu einen
Liter der zu verwendenden Farbe in einen Behlter. Denken Sie daran, dass der Viskosittsmessbecher ein
Fassungsvermgen von einem Deziliter hat. Sie schlieen die Ablaufffnung im Behlter und befllten ihn mit dem
bentigten Verdnner. Geben Sie diesen zur Farbe und rhren Sie gut um. Messen Sie dann die Viskositt und nehmen
die nachstehenden Empfehlungen als Richtwerte. Wenn die Farbe strker verdnnt werden muss, verdnnen Sie sie
um weitere 5% (mit einem halben Messbecherinhalt) und messen Sie erneut die Viskositt. Wenn die Farbe noch immer
nicht die empfohlene Viskositt aufweist, wiederholen Sie den vorherigen Schritt, bis die richtige Viskositt erreicht ist.
Diese Spritzpistole kann mit Produkten verwendet werden, deren Viskositt einer Kennzahl von 25 bis maximal 50
Sekunden entspricht. Tauchen Sie den Viskosittsmessbecher in das Spritzmaterial und befllen Sie ihn. Dann messen
Sie, wie viel Zeit vergeht, bis der Messbecher leergelaufen ist (Abbildung 2). Neben diesen Empfehlungen mssen Sie
auch die Anweisungen des Farbenherstellers beachten. Sie geben Ihnen eine Richtlinie um festzustellen, ob das Material
strker verdnnt werden muss.
Empfehlungen:
Farben auf Wasserbasis und Emulsionen 25-50 Sekunden
Glasuren, Farblacke mit Verdnner oder wasserlslich 45-50 Sekunden
Lacke unverdnnt
Grundierungen 45-50 Sekunden
Imprgnierungen fr Holz, Farbstoffe, le, Desinfektionsflssigkeit, Pflanzenschutzmittel unverdnnt
INBETRIEBNAHME
Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Anschlieen des Gerts an die Stromversorgung, dass die Netzspannung mit den Daten
auf dem Typenschild des Paint Zoom bereinstimmt.
- Beginnen Sie mit dem Anbau des Tragriemens am Gert.

- Schrauben Sie den Behlter von der Spritzpistole ab.
- Richten Sie das Steigrohr aus (Abbildung 3). Ist das Steigrohr in der richtigen Position, kann der Inhalt des Behlters
fast ohne Rest verspritzt werden. Fr Arbeiten an liegenden Flchen muss das Steigrohr nach vorne gedreht werden
(Abbildung 3A). Fr Spritzarbeiten an Flchen ber Kopf muss das Steigrohr nach hinten gedreht werden (Abbildung
3B).
- Stellen Sie den Behlter auf eine Papierunterlage und befllen Sie ihn mit dem Spritzmaterial.
- Montieren Sie den Luftschlauch am Anschluss des Gerts und am Pistolengriff (Abbildung 4).
- Setzen Sie die Spritzpistole in die Pistolenhalterung am Gert ein.
- Stellen Sie das Gert auf eine gerade und saubere Flche um zu vermeiden, dass Staub, Verunreinigungen usw.
angesaugt werden.
- Hngen Sie das Gert mit dem Tragriemen um.
- Richten Sie die Spritzpistole auf den zu spritzenden Gegenstand.
- Wir empfehlen die Durchfhrung eines Spritzversuchs auf Karton oder einem dem zu spritzenden Untergrund hnlichen
Material. So knnen Sie die Materialmenge und das Spritzbild festlegen.
- Bettigen Sie den Knopf ON/OFF und beginnen Sie mit der Benutzung des Paint Zoom.

Auswahl des Spritzbildes
Es gibt drei unterschiedliche Formen von Spritzstrahlen:
1. Breiter Strahl in vertikaler Richtung fr horizontale Flchen (Abbildung 5A)
2. Breiter Strahl in horizontaler Richtung fr vertikale Flchen (Abbildung 5B)
3. Rundstrahl fr Ecken und schwer zugngliche Flchen (Abbildung 5C)
Einstellen des Spritzbildes

Bei leicht gelster berwurfmutter drehen Sie die Luftkappe auf die Spritzposition fr die gewnschte Strahlform
(Abbildung 6). Dann ziehen Sie die berwurfmutter wieder fest.
Den Abzug der Pistole niemals beim Einstellen der Luftkappe bettigen.
Einstellen der Materialmenge

Zum Einstellen der Materialmenge drehen Sie an der Reglerschraube am Abzug der Pistole:
- Zum Reduzieren der Menge, Drehung nach links.
- Zum Erhhen der Materialmenge, Drehung nach rechts (Abbildung 7).
Spritztechniken
- Entscheidend fr ein gutes Ergebnis ist eine absolut saubere und glatte Flche vor dem Spritzen. Wir empfehlen, die
Flche einer sorgfltigen Vorbehandlung zu unterziehen.
- Alle Gewindeteile oder vergleichbaren Gegenstnde sowie die Oberflche, die nicht bespritzt werden soll im Spritzbereich
abdecken.
- Einen Spritztest auf Karton oder einem vergleichbaren Spritzgrund durchfhren, bevor Sie mit der Verwendung des
Produkts beginnen. Auf diese Weise knnen Sie die richtige Einstellung der Spritzpistole mit mehr Sicherheit vornehmen.
Wir empfehlen weiterhin, mit der Zerstubung auerhalb der zu spritzenden Flche zu beginnen und Unterbrechungen
des Spritzvorgangs innerhalb der zu spritzenden Flche grundstzlich zu vermeiden.
- Die Bewegung beim Spritzen darf nicht aus dem Handgelenk kommen, die Spritzpistole muss aus dem Arm heraus
gefhrt werden. Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, dass der Abstand zwischen Spritzpistole und Spritzflche immer
gleich bleibt. Whlen Sie einen Abstand zwischen 5 und 15 cm, je nach gewnschter Breite des Spritzstrahls. (Abbildung
8A) zeigt die richtige Position, hier bleibt der Abstand zum Spritzgegenstand stets gleich. In der (Abbildung 8B) hingegen
ist die falsche Position zu sehen, hier fhrt ein ungleicher Abstand zu einem unregelmigen Spritzergebnis.
- Fhren Sie die Spritzpistole gleichmig entweder in Querrichtung oder nach oben und unten, je nach Einstellung
des Spritzstrahls.
- Eine gleichmige Fhrung der Spritzpistole ergibt eine Flche mit einer einheitlichen Oberflchengte.
- Wenn das Beschichtungsmaterial sich an Dse und Luftkappe ansammelt, reinigen Sie beide Teile mit Lsungsmittel
oder Wasser.
ARBEITSUNTERBRECHUNG
Wenn Sie die Benutzung des Gerts fr eine Dauer von weniger als 4 h unterbrechen mssen:
- Schalten Sie das Gert ab.
- Setzen Sie die Zerstuberpistole in die Pistolenhalterung.
- Bei der Verarbeitung von Zweikomponentenlacken muss das Gert sofort gereinigt werden.
AUSSERBETRIEBNAHME
Fr ein ordnungsgemes Funktionieren des Gerts ist die richtige Reinigung entscheidend. Wir empfehlen Ihnen:
- Den Netzstecker ziehen. Bei lngeren Pausen und nach Beendigung der Arbeit sind die Behlter zu entlften. Dazu
den Behlter kurz ffnen und gleich wieder schlieen, oder den Abzug der Pistole bettigen und das Spritzgut wieder
in das Originalgebinde leeren.
- Die Spritzpistole zerlegen.
- Den Behlter abschrauben. Den Rest des Spritzmaterials wieder in das Gebinde entleeren.
- Den Behlter und das Steigrohr mit einem Pinsel reinigen. Die Entlftungsbohrung reinigen (Abbildung 9-8).
- Den Behlter mit Lsungsmittel oder Wasser befllen und wieder anschrauben. Es drfen nur Lsungsmittel mit einem
Flammpunkt ber 21C verwendet werden.
- Die Pistole wieder zusammenbauen (Abbildung 9).
- Den Netzstecker wieder einstecken, das Gert einschalten und das Lsungsmittel oder Wasser in einen Behlter oder
Lappen spritzen.
- Das Gert abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
- Den Behlter abschrauben und leeren. Das Steigrohr mit Behlterdichtung herausziehen.
- Das Belftungsrohr (Abbildung 9A-12) nach oben aus dem Pistolenkrper herausziehen. Den Ventildeckel losschrauben
(Abbildung 9A-13) und die Membran herausnehmen (Abbildung 9A-14). Alle Teile sorgfltig reinigen.
- Die berwurfmutter lsen, die Luftkappe und die Dse abnehmen. Mit einem Pinsel und Lsungsmittel oder Wasser
Luftkappe, Dsendichtung und Dse reinigen. Eine Reinigung der Dichtungen, der Membran und der Dsenffnung
bzw. Entlftungsbohrungen an der Zerstuberpistole mit spitzen Metallgegenstnden ist nicht empfehlenswert.
- Die Zerstuberpistole auen mit einem lsungsmittel- oder wassergetrnkten Lappen reinigen.
- Die Einzelteile wieder zusammenbauen.
Instandhaltung
Luftkappe/ Dse Entfernen Sie die Luftkappe und Dse von der Pistole und geben Sie sie in sauberes Lsungsmittel.
Trocknen Sie sie mit Druckluft. Sind die kleinen Lcher verstopft, lassen Sie die Kappe in sauberem Lsungsmittel
einweichen. Mssen die Lcher durchstoen werden, verwenden Sie einen Zahnstocher, Besenhalme oder ein anderes
weiches Utensil.
Subern Sie die Lcher nicht mit einem Draht, Nagel oder einem hnlichen harten Objekt. Dies knnte die Kappe
dauerhaft beschdigen, da die Dsen vergrert werden und das Spritzmuster so beschdigt wird.
Aufbewahrung
Die Aufbewahrung der Sprhpistole in etwas sauberem Lsungsmittel in der Luftkappe und in der Dse verhindert das
Austrocknen und Brechen der Nadelpackung und somit eventuellen Luft- oder/ und Flssigkeitsaustritt.

MONTAGE
Das Gert darf nur mit unbeschdigter Membran eingesetzt werden (Abbildung 9A-14). Setzen Sie die Membran mit
dem Stift nach oben auf das Unterteil des Ventils auf. Siehe hierzu auch die Markierung auf dem Pistolenkrper. Setzen
Sie vorsichtig den Ventildeckel auf und schrauben Sie ihn zu. Stecken Sie den Belftungsschlauch auf den Ventildeckel
und den Anschluss am Pistolenkrper ein. Schieben Sie die Dsendichtung mit Nut nach vorn in die Dse (Abbildung
9B).
Setzen Sie die Dse auf den Pistolenkrper auf und suchen Sie durch Drehen die richtige Position. Stecken Sie die
Luftkappe auf die Dse auf und ziehen Sie sie mit der berwurfmutter fest.
Zum Schluss schieben Sie die Behlterdichtung von unten auf das Steigrohr und bis ber den Bund, dabei drehen Sie
die Behlterdichtung leicht. Setzen Sie das Steigrohr mit Behlterdichtung in den Pistolenkrper ein.

INDICAZIONI GENERALI DI SICUREZZA

Gli errori commessi per linosservanza delle istruzioni che seguono possono essere causa di scariche elettriche, incendio

2. Sicurezza Elettrica

- Non modificare per nessun motivo la spina originale del nebulizzatore, n utilizzare adattatori per le spine degli
apparecchi dotati di messa a terra. Le spine originali riducono il pericolo di una scarica elettrica. Non utilizzare lapparecchio
se linterruttore difettoso.
- Tenere lapparecchio al riparo della pioggia o dellumidit, poich lentrata dacqua in qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico

- Utilizzare gli opportuni dispositivi di protezione per le vie respiratorie. La vernice nebulizzata e i vapori di solvente sono
dannosi per la salute.
- Durante luso, tenere i bambini e qualsiasi altra persona lontani dallapparecchio, poich basta una piccola distrazione
per perdere il controllo dellapparecchio.
- Evitare lavviamento fortuito dellapparecchio. Prima di inserire la spina dellapparecchio nella presa di corrente,
accertarsi che linterruttore si trovi su OFF. Se si sposta lapparecchio con il dito sullinterruttore o si inserisce la spina
dellapparecchio nella presa di corrente con linterruttore su ON, si possono produrre incidenti.
- Cercare sempre di trovarsi in una posizione comoda, stabile e sicura, in modo da mantenere sempre lequilibrio e
poter cos controllare meglio lapparecchio in caso di situazioni impreviste.
- Usare indumenti di protezione individuale e sempre gli occhiali. Per ridurre il rischio di lesioni, si consiglia limpiego di
dispositivi come maschera antipolvere, guanti, calzature antiscivolo di sicurezza, casco di protezione, cuffia antirumore.
importante essere ben coperti quando si vernici con Paint Zoom, per non macchiare i vestiti, i capelli o la pelle.
- Non indossare indumenti troppo ampi o elementi di bigiotteria e tenere i capelli, i vestiti e i guanti lontani dalle parti in
movimento poich potrebbero rimanere impigliati nellapparecchio.
- Non dirigere il getto di vernice verso persone o animali.
- Il Paint Zoom non dovr essere utilizzato da bambini o da persone con capacit fisica, sensoriale o mentale ridotta o
che non dispongano dellesperienza e/o delle nozioni necessarie, a meno che non si trovino sotto la diretta supervisione
di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza o ricevano da questa le istruzioni necessarie per limpiego dellapparecchio.
Non lasciarvi giocare i bambini.
4. Uso adeguato
- Impiegare solo vernici e altri prodotti adeguati per pistole a spruzzo.
- Le pistole a spruzzo non devono essere pulite con solventi infiammabili che abbiano un punto dinfiammabilit inferiore
a 21 C.
- Le pistole a spruzzo non devono essere utilizzate per nebulizzare sostanze infiammabili.
- Non nebulizzare mai prodotti di cui non si conosca il grado di pericolosit.
- Non utilizzare la pistola a spruzzo in locali industriali soggetti allordinanza di protezione dalle esplosioni.
- Prestare la massima attenzione ai pericoli che possano derivare dal materiale nebulizzato e rispettare sempre le
indicazioni riportate nelle etichette dei barattoli di vernice o le istruzioni del fabbricante del materiale da nebulizzare.
- Prestare la massima attenzione ai vapori di solvente per evitare che siano aspirati dallapparecchio. Non rivolgere il
getto di vernice verso lapparecchio!
- Se la vernice sale per il tubo di ventilazione (figura 9A-12) non continuare ad utilizzare lapparecchio. In questo caso
smontare il tubo di ventilazione, la valvola (figura 9A-13) e la membrana (figura 9A-14), pulire e, se necessario, sostituire
la membrana.
- Il Paint Zoom dispone di un rel termico che sconnette lapparecchio in caso di surriscaldamento. Se scattato,
spegnere lapparecchio, toglierne la spina dalla presa di corrente e lasciarlo raffreddare per almeno 30 minuti. Per
eliminare la causa del surriscaldamento verificare, ad esempio, se il tubo piegato o strozzato, se il filtro dellaria
sporco o se le fessure per la circolazione dellaria sono ostruite.

5. Assistenza Tecnica
- Qualsiasi intervento di riparazione del Paint Zoom deve essere realizzato esclusivamente da tecnici qualificati e sempre
impiegando pezzi di ricambio originali.
- Se il cavo di alimentazione elettrica danneggiato, deve essere sostituito dal fabbricante, da un Servizio di Assistenza
Tecnica Ufficiale o da un tecnico qualificato al fine di evitare qualsiasi pericolo.

PRODOTTI UTILIZZABILI
Utilizzare solo prodotti raccomandato per luso con pistola a spruzzo.
Preparazione del prodotto di rivestimento
Con lapposito ugello possibile nebulizzare vernici, lacche e trasparenti non diluiti o leggermente diluiti.
Se la vernice deve essere diluita, iniziare con una diluizione del 10%. Per far ci, riempire un recipiente da un litro con
la vernice da utilizzare. Quindi, dato che il bicchiere per la misurazione della viscosit ha la capacit di un decilitro,
tapparne il foro e riempirlo di solvente. Aggiungerlo alla vernice e mescolare bene. Misurare quindi la viscosit, come
indicato qui di seguito. Se la vernice richiede unulteriore diluizione, diluirla di un altro 5% (la met della capacit del
bicchiere) e tornare a misurare la viscosit. Se la vernice non ha ancora raggiunto la viscosit consigliata, ripetere
questultimo passo sino ad ottenere la viscosit adeguata.
Questa pistola pu essere utilizzata con prodotti con una viscosit di 25 per un massimo di 50 secondi. Immergere il
bicchiere per la misurazione della viscosit nel materiale da nebulizzare e riempirlo. Cronometrare quindi quanto tempo
tarda il bicchiere a svuotarsi (figura 2). Naturalmente, oltre a questi consigli, si dovranno sempre seguire sia le istruzioni
del fabbricante del materiale, che la guida per determinare se il materiale richiede una diluizione maggiore.
Consigli:
Vernici allacqua ed emulsioni: 25-50 secondi
Smalti, lacche colorate con solventi o solubili in acqua: 45-50 secondi
Trasparenti: non diluire.
Imprimiture: 45-50 secondi
Impregnanti per legno, coloranti, oli, disinfettanti, prodotti fitosanitari: non diluire
In assenza di istruzioni specifiche per il materiale che si vuole utilizzare, seguire le indicazioni che figurano in questo
manuale. Se invece ci sono delle istruzioni specifiche per il materiale che si vuole utilizzare, seguire queste ultime.
MESSA IN SERVIZIO
Prima dinserire la spina dellapparecchio nella presa di corrente, accertarsi che la tensione della rete di alimentazione
coincida con quella riportata sulla piastrina delle caratteristiche del Paint Zoom.
- Iniziare collocando la cinghia di trasporto nellapparecchio

- Svitare il serbatoio dalla pistola a spruzzo.
- Allineare il tubo ascendente (figura 3). Con il tubo ascendente nella giusta posizione, il contenuto del serbatoio pu
essere nebulizzato senza che rimanga quasi residuo. Per lavori su oggetti orizzontali si dovr ruotare il tubo in avanti
(figura 3A). Per lavori di nebulizzazione su oggetti che si trovano al disopra della testa si dovr ruotare il tubo ascendente
in dietro (figura 3B).
- Collocare il serbatoio su dei fogli di carta e riempirlo con il prodotto da nebulizzare.
- Montare il tubo flessibile dellaria nei raccordi dellapparecchio e dellimpugnatura della pistola (figura 4).
- Collocare la pistola a spruzzo nellapposito supporto dellapparecchio.
- Collocare lapparecchio su una superficie liscia e pulita, poich altrimenti potrebbe aspirare polvere, ecc.
- Appendere lapparecchio per la cinghia di trasporto.
- Rivolgere la pistola verso loggetto da nebulizzare.
- Si consiglia di realizzare una prova di nebulizzazione su un pezzo di cartone o su un fondo simile a quello su cui si
vuole nebulizzare. Si potr cos determinare la quantit adeguata del prodotto da nebulizzare.
- Azionare il pulsante ON/OFF e iniziare ad utilizzare il Paint Zoom.
Selezione del ventaglio di nebulizzazione

Ci sono tre differenti forme del ventaglio di nebulizzazione:
1. getto a ventaglio verticale, indicato per superfici orizzontali (figura 5A)
2. getto a ventaglio orizzontale, indicato per superfici verticali (figura 5B)
3. getto rotondo, indicato per angoli e superfici di difficile accesso (figura 5C)

Regolazione del ventaglio di nebulizzazione
Con la ghiera leggermente lenta, ruotare il coperchio dellaria nella posizione di nebulizzazione desiderata (figura 6).
Quindi serrare di nuovo la ghiera.
Non premere mai il grilletto della pistola durante la regolazione del coperchio dellaria.
Regolazione della quantit di materiale

Per regolare la quantit di materiale, ruotare lelemento di regolazione nel grilletto della pistola:
- per ottenere una quantit di materiale inferiore, ruotarlo in senso antiorario
- per ottenere una quantit di materiale superiore, ruotarlo in senso orario (figura 7).
Tecniche di nebulizzazione
- Per garantire un buon risultato, prima di realizzare la nebulizzazione essenziale accertarsi che la superficie da trattare
sia perfettamente pulita e liscia. Si consiglia di sottoporre la superficie ad un accurato trattamento preliminare.
- Coprire tutte le superfici che non si vogliono nebulizzare, soprattutto eventuali viti e dadi.
- Prima di iniziare ad utilizzare il prodotto, realizzare una prova di nebulizzazione su un pezzo di cartone o su un fondo
simile. Si potr cos determinare con maggior sicurezza la regolazione adeguata della pistola. Si consiglia anche di
iniziare la nebulizzazione fuori dalla superficie da trattare e di evitare sempre interruzioni dentro la superficie di
nebulizzazione.
- Il movimento di nebulizzazione non dovr provenire dal polso, ma dal braccio. Cos facendo si garantisce sempre la
stessa distanza tra la pistola e la superficie. Scegliere una distanza di 5-15 cm, secondo lampiezza desiderata del
ventaglio di nebulizzazione. La (figura 8A) indica la posizione giusta, in cui la distanza dalloggetto uniforme; invece
la (figura 8B) mostra la posizione sbagliata, in cui una distanza non uniforme d luogo ad una verniciatura irregolare.
- Muovere la pistola a spruzzo uniformemente in senso trasversale o dallalto in basso, secondo la regolazione dellugello
di nebulizzazione.
-Un movimento uniforme della pistola a spruzzo d come risultato una superficie di qualit uniforme.
- Se il materiale di rivestimento si accumula nellugello e sul coperchio dellaria, pulire queste due parti con solvente o
acqua.
INTERRUZIONE DEL SERVIZIO

Se si vuole interrompere lutilizzazione dellapparecchio per un periodo di tempo non superiore a 4 ore:
- Spegnere lapparecchio.
- Introdurre la pistola a spruzzo nellapposito supporto dellapparecchio.
- Se si impiegano lacche a due componenti, lapparecchio deve essere pulito immediatamente.
MESSA FUORI SERVIZIO

Per il buon funzionamento dellapparecchio indispensabile unadeguata pulizia. A tal fine, consigliamo di:
- Togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente. In caso di pause prolungate e dopo aver terminato il lavoro, purgare laria dal
serbatoio. A tal fine, aprire il serbatoio per un breve periodo di tempo e richiuderlo, o premere il grilletto della pistola e
riversare la vernice nel barattolo originale.
- Smontare la pistola.
- Svitare il serbatoio. Quindi versare la parte del prodotto rimasta in esso nel recipiente originale.
- Pulire con un pennello il serbatoio e il tubo ascendente. Pulire il foro di spurgo dellaria (figura 9-8).
- Riempire il serbatoio di solvente o dacqua e riavvitarlo. Si possono impiegare solo solventi con un punto dinfiammabilit
superiore a 21 C.
- Rimontare la pistola (figura 9).
- Inserire la spina dellapparecchio nella presa di corrente, accendere lapparecchio e nebulizzare solvente o acqua in
un recipiente o su uno straccio.
- Spegnere lapparecchio e toglierne la spina dalla presa di corrente.
- Svitare il serbatoio e vuotarlo. Togliere il tubo ascendente con la guarnizione dal serbatoio.
- Tirare il tubo di ventilazione (figura 9A-12) fuori dal corpo della pistola. Svitare il coperchio della valvola (figura 9A-13)
e togliere la membrana (figura 9A-14). Pulire accuratamente tutte le parti.
- Svitare la ghiera, togliere il coperchio dellaria e lugello. Pulire con un pennello e solvente (o acqua) il coperchio
dellaria, la guarnizione dellugello e lugello. Non si consiglia di pulire le guarnizioni, la membrana, i fori degli ugelli o i
fori dellaria della pistola a spruzzo con oggetti metallici acuminati.
- Pulire esternamente la pistola a spruzzo con un panno imbevuto di solvente o acqua.
- Montare di nuovo tutte le parti.
Manutenzione
Coperchio dellaria / Ugello Togliere il coperchio dellaria, estrarre lugello dalla pistola e immergerlo in solvente pulito.
Asciugarlo con aria compressa. Se i forellini fossero ostruiti, introdurre nel solvente anche il coperchio dellaria. Se fosse
necessario pulire bene i fori, impiegare uno stecchino, una barretta di plastica o qualche altro materiale che non sia
molto duro.
Non pulire i fori con fil di ferro, chiodi, n altri oggetti di durezza simile. Ci potrebbe occasionare il danneggiamento
permanente del coperchio e lingrandimento del getto, rendendo probabilmente difettosa la nebulizzazione.
Conservazione
Riporre la pistola a spruzzo con un po di solvente nel coperchio dellaria e nellugello per evitare che lago della pistola
si secchi o si rompa, il che comporterebbe eventuali perdite daria o di liquidi.
MONTAGGIO
Lapparecchio deve essere utilizzato solo ed esclusivamente con la membrana intatta (figura 9A-14). Collocare la
membrana con il perno rivolto verso lalto sulla parte inferiore della valvola. Osservare anche il riferimento presente sul
corpo della pistola. Collocare con cura il coperchio della valvola e avvitare serrando forte. Inserire il tubo di ventilazione
nel coperchio della valvola e il raccordo nel corpo della pistola. Far scorrere la guarnizione dellugello con la caletta
davanti allugello (figura 9B).
Inserire lugello nel corpo della pistola e localizzarne la giusta posizione ruotandolo. Collocare il coperchio dellaria
nellugello e serrarlo con lapposita ghiera.

Introdurre infine la guarnizione del serbatoio al disotto del tubo duscita e farla scorrere sino allunione. A tal fine, ruotare
leggermente la guarnizione del serbatoio e inserire il tubo ascendente con la corrispondente guarnizione nel corpo della
pistola.

Obrigado por ter adquirido a pistola de pulverizao Paint Zoom. Antes de comear a utiliz-la, faa o favor de ler com
ateno e por completo as instrues de uso, bem como todas as indicaes de segurana. Guarde o manual num
lugar acessvel para ser utilizado no futuro.
INDICAES GERAIS DE SEGURANA

Os erros decorrentes de no observar as seguintes instrues podem provocar descargas elctricas, incndio ou at
leses graves. As substncias utilizadas nesta pistola de pulverizao (dissolventes, tintas, etc.) podem conter elementos
perigosos, daninhos, explosivos ou corrosivos.
1. Lugar de trabalho
- Mantenha a sua rea de trabalho limpa e ordenada, j que a desordem e a falta de iluminao podem causar acidentes.
- Evite trabalhar com o Paint Zoom em ambientes com perigo de exploso, onde se encontrem lquidos, gases ou ps
inflamveis.
- Assegure-se de que, durante a pulverizao, no existam focos de ignio no ambiente, tais como fogo de chama
livre, fumo de cigarros, fascas, arames incandescentes e superfcies quentes.
- Para evitar o perigo de exploso durante os trabalhos de pulverizao, deve sempre assegurar-se de que exista um
bom arejamento, tanto natural como artificial.
- Tape muito bem as superfcies que no iro ser pulverizadas. Tenha em conta que, pela aco do vento, a nuvem de
tinta pode ser deslocada a maiores distncias, podendo assim causar danos.
2. Segurana elctrica
- Evite o contacto com superfcies ligadas terra, tais como tubagens, aquecedores e frigorficos, j que existe risco
de descarga elctrica se o seu corpo estiver em contacto com o cho.
- A ficha original do pulverizador no deve ser alterada em caso nenhum. Tambm no deve utilizar fichas adaptadoras
juntamente com os equipamentos com ligao terra. As fichas originais reduzem o risco de descarga elctrica. No
utilize o aparelho no caso de o interruptor estar defeituoso.
- Mantenha o equipamento afastado da chuva ou da humidade, j que a penetrao de gua em qualquer aparelho
elctrico aumenta o risco de descarga elctrica.
- No utilize o fio para fins distintos dos previstos. Mantenha o fio afastado de fontes de calor, leo, bordas cortantes
ou componentes movveis. Os fios deteriorados ou emaranhados aumentam o risco de descarga elctrica.
- Quando trabalhar ao ar livre, utilize exclusivamente os fios de extenso permitidos para zonas exteriores.
3. Segurana das pessoas

- Preste muita ateno quilo que esteja a fazer e proceda conscientemente quando trabalhar com o Paint Zoom. No
caso de se encontrar cansado ou sob o efeito de drogas, lcool ou medicamentos, NO UTILIZE o aparelho. Um s
momento de desateno durante a utilizao do equipamento pode ocasionar importantes leses.
- Utilize proteco respiratria. As nuvens de tinta e os vapores dissolventes so prejudiciais para a sade.
- Mantenha as crianas e as pessoas em situao delicada afastadas deste aparelho durante o seu uso, j que, se se
distrair, pode perder o controlo sobre o aparelho.
- Evite as ligaes no intencionadas. Assegure-se de que o interruptor se encontre na posio OFF antes de ligar
o aparelho tomada. Se, ao deslocar o equipamento, tiver o dedo colocado no interruptor ou ligar o equipamento
alimentao de corrente com o interruptor na posio ON, podem produzir-se acidentes.
- Tente estar posicionado de forma segura e mantenha o equilbrio em qualquer momento, j que, desta maneira,
poder controlar melhor o aparelho em situaes inesperadas.
- Utilize equipamento de proteco pessoal e use sempre culos protectores. Recomenda-se o uso de equipamento
como mscara antip, luvas, sapatos de segurana antideslizantes, capacete protector e proteco dos ouvidos para
diminuir o risco de leses. importante que esteja bem protegido no momento de pintar com o Paint Zoom para no
manchar a roupa, o cabelo ou a pele.
- No use roupa ampla nem bijutaria e mantenha o cabelo, a roupa e as luvas afastados das partes que estejam em
movimento, j que poderiam ficar emaranhados no aparelho.
- No dirija o jacto de tinta para pessoas ou animais.
- O Paint Zoom no deve ser utilizado por pessoas (mesmo crianas) de capacidade fsica, sensorial ou mental limitada
ou que no disponham de experincia e/ou conhecimentos, a no ser que sejam supervisados por uma pessoa
responsvel pela sua segurana, ou ento que recebam dela as instrues necessrias para utilizar o equipamento.
As crianas no devem brincar com o aparelho.
4. Utilizao adequada
- Devem processar-se materiais apenas recomendados para pintar com pistola.
- As pistolas de pulverizao no devem ser limpas com dissolventes inflamveis, j que tm um ponto de inflamao
inferior a 21C.
- As pistolas de pulverizao no se devem utilizar para pulverizar substncias inflamveis.
- Nunca pulverize materiais cujo grau de perigosidade no seja conhecido.
- As garrafas de pulverizao no devem ser utilizadas em locais industriais contemplados nas normas de proteco
contra exploses.
- Preste ateno aos perigos que podem proceder do material pulverizado e observe igualmente as indicaes das
etiquetas dos reservatrios ou as instrues do fabricante do material pulverizvel.
- Preste ateno aos vapores de dissolvente para no serem aspirados pelo equipamento. No dirija o jacto de
pulverizao para o equipamento!
- Se a tinta subir ao tubo de ventilao (figura 9 A-12), no continue a utilizar o aparelho. Neste caso, dever desmontar
o tubo de ventilao, a vlvula (figura 9 A-13) e a membrana (figura 9 A-14), e a seguir limpar e, se for preciso, substituir
a membrana.
- O Paint Zoom dispe de um termofusvel que, no caso de superaquecimento, desliga o equipamento. Se o mesmo
se disparar, desligar o equipamento, extrair a ficha da tomada e deixar que arrefea, no mnimo, durante 30 minutos.
Para eliminar a causa do superaquecimento, verifique, por exemplo, se o tubo estiver dobrado, se o filtro de ar estiver
sujo ou se as ranhuras de circulao de ar estiverem obstrudas.

5. Servio tcnico
- Realize as reparaes do Paint Zoom contactando apenas pessoal qualificado e utilizando sempre sobresselentes
originais.
- Se o fio de ligao rede elctrica se danificar, deve ser substitudo pelo fabricante ou pelo seu servio ps-venda,
ou ento por uma pessoa de qualificao similar, para evitar riscos.

TIPOS DE MATERIAIS
Utilize material recomendado para ser usado na pistola.
Preparao do material de recobrimento
Tendo sobreposta a pea para pulverizao, podem pulverizar-se tintas, lacas e vernizes sem diluir ou levemente
diludos:
Se a tinta precisar diluio, comece com uma diluio de 10% da tinta. Faa-o enchendo um recipiente de um litro com
a tinta a utilizar. Tenha em conta que a cubeta de viscosidade tem capacidade para um decilitro, de forma que deve
tampar o orifcio e encher com o diluente necessrio. Acrescente-o tinta e remexa bem. Depois, mea a viscosidade
de acordo com a informao recomendada a seguir. No caso de a tinta necessitar mais diluio, dilua-a outro 5% (a
metade da capacidade da cubeta) e mea a viscosidade. Se a tinta ainda no se encontrar com a viscosidade
recomendada, repita o passo anterior at obter a viscosidade adequada.
Esta pistola pode ser utilizada com produtos com uma viscosidade de ndice 25 durante um mximo de 50 segundos.
Submerja a cubeta de viscosidade no material e encha. A seguir, cronometre quanto tempo demora a cubeta em se
esvaziar (figura 2). Para alm destas recomendaes, dever consultar tambm as instrues do fabricante do material,
como guia para determinar se o material necessitar mais diluio.
Recomendaes:
Tinta de gua e emulses 25-50 segundos
Esmaltes, lacas de cor com dissolvente ou solveis em gua 45-50 segundos
Vernizes sem diluir
Primrios 45-50 segundos
Impregnantes para madeira, corantes, leos, desinfectantes, produtos fitossanitrios sem diluir
Siga estas instrues nica e exclusivamente se no houverem instrues relativas ao material que desejar utilizar.
No caso de o material que ir utilizar ter as suas prprias instrues, siga as mesmas.
ENTRADA EM FUNCIONAMENTO
Antes de ligar o aparelho tomada de alimentao, assegure-se de a tenso da rede elctrica coincidir com os dados
indicados na etiqueta de caractersticas tcnicas do Paint Zoom.
- Comece por instalar a correia de transporte no aparelho

- Desaparafusar o reservatrio da pistola de pulverizao.
- Alinhar o tubo de subida (figura 3). Tendo o tubo de subida em posio correcta, o contedo do reservatrio pode ser
pulverizado quase sem deixar restos. Para trabalhos em objectos estendidos, deve rodar o tubo de subida para a frente
(figura 3A). Para trabalhos de pulverizao em objectos por cima da cabea, deve rodar o tubo de subida para trs
(figura 3B).
- Colocar o reservatrio sobre um papel e encher com o material de pulverizao.
- Montar o tubo flexvel de ar na ligao do equipamento e do cabo da pistola (figura 4).
- Colocar a pistola de pulverizao no suporte da pistola do equipamento.
- Colocar o equipamento sobre uma superfcie lisa e limpa, j que, de no ser assim, pode aspirar p, etc.
Dirigir a pistola para o objecto a pulverizar.
- Recomenda-se fazer uma prova de pulverizao sobre um carto ou sobre um fundo semelhante quele que deseja
pulverizar. Desta maneira, pode determinar a quantidade de material e a projeco da pulverizao.
- Accione o boto ON/OFF e comece a utilizar o Paint Zoom.
Seleco da projeco da pulverizao

Existem trs formas diferentes de jacto de pulverizao:
1. Jacto em leque vertical, indicado para superfcies horizontais (figura 5 A)
2. Jacto em leque horizontal, indicado para superfcies verticais (figura 5 B)
3. Jacto redondo, indicado para cantos e superfcies de difcil acesso (figura 5 C)

Regulao da projeco da pulverizao
Com a porca-tampo levemente frouxa, rode a tampa de ar para a posio desejada de projeco da pulverizao. A
seguir, volte a apertar a porca-tampo.
Nunca aperte o gatilho da pistola durante a regulao da tampa de ar.
Regulao da quantidade de material

Para ajustar a quantidade de material, rode o elemento de regulao do gatilho da pistola:
- para menos quantidade de material, rodar para a esquerda
- para mais quantidade de material, rodar para a direita (figura 7)
Tcnicas de pulverizao
- Para assegurar um bom resultado, essencial que a superfcie esteja completamente limpa e lisa antes da pulverizao.
aconselhvel submeter a superfcie a um cuidadoso tratamento prvio.
- Tapar todas as superfcies que no deseje pulverizar, mesmo roscas e parafusos.
- Realizar uma prova de pulverizao sobre um carto ou sobre um fundo semelhante antes de comear a utilizar o
produto; desta maneira, poder determinar com mais certeza a regulao adequada da pistola. Tambm se recomenda
comear com a pulverizao fora da superfcie e evitar sempre interrupes dentro da superfcie de pulverizao.
- A deslocao da pulverizao no se deve realizar com o pulso, mas sim com o brao; desta maneira, assegura-se
sempre a mesma distncia entre a pistola e a superfcie. Escolha uma distncia de 5-15 cm, em funo da largura
desejada do jacto de pulverizao. A (figura 8 A) indica a posio correcta, na qual a distncia at ao objecto uniforme;
por sua vez, a (figura 8 B) mostra a posio incorrecta, j que a distncia desigual produz um acabamento irregular.
- Dirija a pistola de pulverizao uniformemente em sentido transversal ou acima e abaixo, segundo a regulao da
projeco da pulverizao.
- Uma conduo uniforme da pistola de pulverizao tem como resultado uma superfcie de qualidade uniforme.
- Se o material de recobrimento se acumular na boca e na tampa de ar, limpar ambas as partes com dissolvente ou
gua.
INTERRUPO DO SERVIO
Se necessitar interromper o uso do aparelho durante um perodo de tempo no superior a 4 h:
- Desligar o equipamento.
- Introduzir a pistola de pulverizao no suporte da pistola.
- No processamento de lacas bicomponentes, o equipamento tem de ser limpo imediatamente.
APARELHO FORA DE SERVIO

Para o correcto funcionamento do aparelho, essencial uma limpeza adequada. Aconselhamos:
- Extrair a ficha da tomada. Durante pausas prolongadas e aps ter terminado o trabalho, h que purgar o ar dos
reservatrios. Para tal, abra o reservatrio durante um breve perodo de tempo e volte-o a fechar, apertando o gatilho
da pistola e despejando a tinta para a embalagem original.
- Desmontar a pistola.
- Desenroscar o recipiente. Despejar o resto do material de recobrimento deitando-o na sua embalagem.
- Limpar o reservatrio e o tubo de subida com um pincel. Limpar o orifcio de purga de ar (figura 9-8).
- Encher o recipiente com dissolvente ou gua e enrosc-lo. Podem ser apenas processados dissolventes com um
ponto de inflamao superior a 21C.
- Voltar a montar a pistola (figura 9).
- Introduzir a ficha na tomada, ligar o equipamento e pulverizar dissolvente ou gua num recipiente ou num pano.
- Desligar o equipamento e extrair a ficha da tomada.
- Desenroscar o reservatrio e despej-lo. Retirar o tubo de subida com a junta do reservatrio.
- Puxar pelo tubo de ventilao (figura 9A-12) para cima do corpo da pistola. Desenroscar a tampa da vlvula (figura
9A-13) e retirar a membrana (figura 9A-14) Limpar cuidadosamente todas as partes.
- Desenroscar a porca-tampo, retirar a tampa de ar e a boca. Limpar, com um pincel e dissolvente ou gua, a tampa
de ar, a junta da boca e a prpria boca. No aconselhvel limpar as juntas, a membrana e os orifcios das bocas ou
os orifcios de ar da pistola de pulverizao com objectos de metal pontiagudos.
- Limpar exteriormente a pistola de pulverizao com um pano embebido em dissolvente ou gua.
- Voltar a montar todas as partes.
Manuteno
Tampa de ar / Boca Retire a tampa de ar e a boca da pistola e submerja-a em dissolvente limpo. Enxugue-a com ar
comprimido. Se os pequenos orifcios ficarem obstrudos, introduza tambm a tampa de ar em dissolvente. Se for
preciso escarear os orifcios, use um palito, uma cana ou qualquer outro material que no for muito duro.
No limpe os orifcios com fios, pregos nem qualquer outro objecto de dureza similar. Se no seguir estas indicaes,
a tampa pode ser danificada de forma permanente, tornando maiores os jactos, pelo que o resultado da pulverizao
pode ser defeituoso.
Armazenamento
Guarde a pistola de pulverizao com um pouco de dissolvente na tampa de ar e na boca para evitar que a agulha da
pistola se seque ou se quebre, o que, de acontecer, envolve possveis perdas de ar ou de lquidos.
MONTAGEM
O equipamento deve ser utilizado apenas com a membrana intacta (figura 9A-14). Colocar a membrana com a espiga
para cima sobre a parte inferior da vlvula. Ver tambm a marca no corpo da pistola. Colocar a tampa da vlvula com
cuidado e enroscar apertando. Introduzir o tubo de ventilao na tampa da vlvula e a unio no corpo da pistola.
Deslizar a junta da boca com encaixe na parte dianteira para a boca (figura 9B).
Introduzir a boca no corpo da pistola e, mediante rotao, localizar a posio correcta. Colocar a tampa de ar na boca
e apert-la com a porca-tampo.
Por fim, introduzir a junta do reservatrio, pela parte de abaixo, no tubo de subida e desliz-la at unio. Para tal,
rodar levemente a junta do reservatrio e introduzir o tubo de subida com a junta do reservatrio no corpo da pistola.

PAINT ZOOM
Wij danken u voor de aankoop van uw Paint Zoom spuitpistool. Alvorens het te gebruiken verzoeken wij u de
gebruiksaanwijzing en alle veiligheidsaanwijzingen aandachtig door te lezen. Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing op een
goed bereikbare plaats voor later gebruik.
ALGEMENE VEILIGHEIDSAANWIJZINGEN
Fouten die voortkomen uit het niet in acht nemen van de volgende aanwijzingen, kunnen elektrische schokken, brand
of zelfs ernstig letsel tot gevolg hebben. De stoffen die met dit spuitpistool worden gebruikt (oplosmiddelen, verf, enz.),
kunnen gevaarlijke, schadelijke, ontplofbare of bijtende materialen bevatten.
1. Werkplaats
- Houd uw werkplaats schoon en netjes, wanorde en gebrek aan licht kunnen ongevallen veroorzaken.
- Vermijd werken met de Paint Zoom in ruimten waar explosiegevaar bestaat, of waar zich ontvlambare vloeistoffen,
gassen of stoffen bevinden.
- Controleer tijdens het spuiten of er in de omgeving geen ontbrandingshaarden zijn, zoals open vuur, sigarettenrook,
vonken, gloeidraden en hete oppervlakken.
- Ter voorkoming van explosiegevaar tijdens de spuitwerkzaamheden dient u altijd te zorgen voor een goede natuurlijke
of kunstmatige ventilatie.
- Dek de oppervlakken goed af die niet bespoten moeten worden. Houd er rekening mee dat de wind de verfnevel over
grote afstand kan verplaatsen en op deze wijze schade kan veroorzaken.
2. Elektrische veiligheid
- Voorkom contact met geaarde oppervlakken, zoals leidingen, verwarmingsapparaten en koelkasten, omdat het gevaar
van elektrische schokken bestaat als uw lichaam met aarde contact maakt.
- De originele stekker van het spuitpistool mag onder geen enkele voorwaarde worden gewijzigd. Ook mogen geen
adapters samen met geaarde apparaten worden gebruikt. De originele stekkers verminderen het risico van elektrische
schokken. Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer de schakelaar kapot is.
- Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van regen of vocht, omdat het binnengedrongen water in elektrische apparaten de
kans op elektrische schokken vergroot.
- Gebruik het snoer niet voor andere niet geigende doeleinden. Houd het snoer uit de buurt van warmtebronnen, olie,
scherpe kanten of bewegende delen. Beschadigde of verwarde snoeren verhogen de kans op elektrische schokken.
- Als u buiten werkt, gebruik uitsluitend verlengsnoeren die voor gebruik buiten bestemd zijn.
3. Persoonlijke veiligheid
- Houd uw aandacht bij wat u doet en ga altijd welbewust te werk met de Paint Zoom. Gebruik het apparaat NIET als
u zich moe voelt of onder invloed bent van drugs, alcohol of medicijnen. En moment van onoplettendheid tijdens het
gebruik van het apparaat kan ernstig letsel tot gevolg hebben.
- Gebruik adembescherming. Verfnevels en dampen van oplosmiddelen zijn schadelijk voor de gezondheid.
- Houd kinderen en andere personen uit de buurt van het apparaat tijdens het gebruik, omdat u mogelijk afgeleid wordt
en daardoor de controle over het apparaat verliest.
- Voorkom ongewild inschakelen van het apparaat. Let erop dat de schakelaar in de stand OFF staat voordat u de
stekker in het stopcontact steekt. Als u bij het verplaatsen van het apparaat de vinger op de schakelaar houdt of het
apparaat met de schakelaar in stand "ON" op het lichtnet aansluit, kunnen er zich ongevallen voordoen.
- Zorg dat u stevig staat en behoud uw evenwicht, zodat u het apparaat in onverwachte situaties beter kunt controleren.
- Gebruik persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen en draag altijd een veiligheidsbril. Geadviseerd wordt het gebruik van
stofmasker, handschoenen, slipvaste veiligheidsschoenen, beschermhelm en gehoorbescherming om het risico van
letsel te verminderen. Het is belangrijk dat u goed beschermd bent op het moment dat u Paint Zoom gebruikt, zodat u
niet op uw kleren, haar of huid spat.
- Draag geen ruimzittende kleding of sieraden en houd uw hoofd, kleren en handschoenen uit de buurt van bewegende
delen, omdat deze in het apparaat beklemd kunnen raken.
- Richt de verfstraal niet op personen of dieren.
- Paint Zoom mag niet worden gebruikt door personen (waaronder kinderen) met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of
geestelijke vermogens of die niet over de benodigde ervaring en/of kennis beschikken tenzij onder toezicht van een
persoon die voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijk is of na uitleg te hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het apparaat.
Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
4. Een juist gebruik

- Er mogen uitsluitend materialen worden verwerkt die voor spuiten met een verfpistool aanbevolen zijn.
- Spuitpistolen mogen niet worden gereinigd met brandbare oplosmiddelen waarvan het ontvlammingspunt lager is dan 21 C.
- Spuitpistolen mogen niet worden gebruikt voor het vernevelen van brandbare stoffen.
- Spuit geen materialen waarvan u de gevaarlijkheidsgraad niet kent.
- Spuitbussen mogen niet worden gebruikt in industrile ruimten die onder de verordening inzake bescherming tegen
explosies vallen.
- Let op de gevaren die het vernevelde materiaal kan veroorzaken en houd ook de aanwijzingen in acht op de labels
van de reservoirs of de aanwijzingen van de fabrikant van het vernevelbare materiaal.
- Let erop dat dampen van oplosmiddelen niet door het apparaat kunnen worden aangezogen. Richt de spuitstraal niet
op het apparaat!
- Als de verf in de ventilatiebuis (figuur 9A-12) komt, mag u niet doorgaan met het gebruik van het apparaat. In dat geval
dient u de ventilatiebuis, het ventiel (figuur 9A-13) en het membraan (figuur 9A-14) te demonteren, schoon te maken
en, indien nodig, het membraan te vervangen.
- De Paint Zoom is uitgerust met een zekering die in geval van oververhitting het apparaat uitschakelt. Als deze is
doorgeslagen, moet u het apparaat uitschakelen, de stekker uit het stopcontact nemen en het apparaat tenminste 30
minuten laten afkoelen. Om de oorzaak van de oververhitting op te heffen kunt u bijvoorbeeld controleren of de slang
geknikt is, het luchtfilter vuil is of de ventilatiegroeven verstopt zijn.
5. Service
- Wend u zich voor reparaties aan de Paint Zoom uitsluitend tot deskundig personeel en gebruik altijd originele
onderdelenals u een onderdeel moet vervangen.

- Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het door de fabrikant, door uw After-Sales service of door soortgelijke deskundige
personen worden vervangen om risico's te voorkomen.

MATERIAALSOORTEN
Gebruik het aanbevolen materiaal voor het pistool.
Voorbereiding van het afplakmateriaal
Met het opbouwdeel kunt u verf, lak en vernis, zonder verdunnen of enigszins verdund, spuiten:
Als de verf moet worden verdund, begin dan eerst met een verdunning van 10% van de verf. U doet dit door een bak
van n liter met de te gebruiken verf te vullen. Houd er rekening mee dat de beker voor de viscositeitsmeting een
inhoud heeft van n deciliter en u moet dus de opening afdekken en de beker met het benodigde oplosmiddel te vullen.
Voeg dit aan de verf toe en roer het goed door. Meet vervolgens de viscositeit aan de hand van de hierna aanbevolen
informatie. Indien de verf nog meer moet worden verdund, verdun deze dan nog een 5% (de helft van de inhoud van
de beker) en meet de viscositeit. Als de verft nog steeds niet de aanbevolen viscositeit heeft, herhaal dan de vorige
stap totdat de gewenste viscositeit is bereikt.
Dit spuitpistool kan met producten worden gebruikt die een viscositeitsindex van 25 tot maximaal 50 seconden hebben.
Dompel de beker voor de viscositeitsmeting in het materiaal en vul de beker. Neem vervolgens de tijd op tot de beker
leeg is (figuur 2). Naast deze aanbevelingen dient u ook de aanwijzingen van de fabrikant van het materiaal te raadplegen
als richtlijn om vast te stellen of het materiaal verder moet worden verdund.
Aanbevelingen:
Waterverf en emulsies 25-50 seconden
Lakken, kleurlakken met oplosmiddel of in water oplosbaar 45-50 seconden
Vernis zonder verdunnen
Primers 45-50 seconden
Impregneermiddelen voor hout, kleurstoffen, olin, ontsmettingsmiddelen, plantenbeschermingsmiddelen zonder
verdunnen
Volg altijd deze instructies op tenzij er specifieke instructies bestaan voor het materiaal dat u wenst te gebruiken. In
geval er voor het materiaal dat u wenst te gebruiken speciale instructies bestaan, volg deze dan op.
INBEDRIJFSTELLING
Alvorens het apparaat op het lichtnet aan te sluiten dient u erop te letten dat de spanning van het lichtnet overeenkomt
met de gegevens op het typeplaatje van de Paint Zoom.
- Monteer eerst de draagriem van het apparaat

- Schroef het reservoir van het spuitpistool los.
- Lijn de stijgbuis uit (figuur 3). Als de stijgbuis zich in de goede stand bevindt, kan de inhoud van het reservoir vrijwel
geheel worden verneveld. Voor het spuiten van hangende voorwerpen moet u de stijgbuis naar voren draaien (figuur
3A). Voor het spuiten van voorwerpen boven uw hoofd moet u de stijgbuis naar achter draaien. (figuur 3B).
- Plaats het reservoir op een papieren ondergrond en vul het met het te vernevelen materiaal.
- Monteer de flexibele luchtbuis op het aansluitstuk van het apparaat en op het handvat van het pistool (figuur 4).
- Plaats het spuitpistool in de houder voor het spuitpistool van het apparaat.
- Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke en schone ondergrond om te voorkomen dat dit stof e.d. kan aanzuigen.
- Hang het apparaat om met de draagriem.
- Richt het spuitpistool op het te bespuiten voorwerp.
- Geadviseerd wordt eerst het spuiten te testen op een stuk karton of op een soortgelijke ondergrond als die welke u
gaat bespuiten. U kunt zo de hoeveelheid materiaal en de wijze van spuiten bepalen.
- Druk op de knop ON/OFF en ga met de Paint Zoom te werk.
Spuitstraal kiezen
Er zijn drie straalvormen voor het spuiten:
1. straal in verticale waaier, geschikt voor horizontale oppervlakken (figuur 5A)
2. straal in horizontale waaier, geschikt voor verticale oppervlakken (figuur 5B)
3. ronde straal, voor hoeken en moeilijk bereikbare oppervlakken (figuur 5C)
Spuitstraal instellen
Draai, nadat u de dopmoer iets hebt losgedraaid, de luchtdop in de gewenste straalstand (figuur 6). Draai hierna opnieuw
de dopmoer aan.

Bedien nooit de trekker van het pistool terwijl u de luchtdop afstelt.
De hoeveelheid materiaal instellen

Om de hoeveelheid materiaal in te stellen draait u de regelknop op de trekker van het pistool:
- naar links, voor een kleinere hoeveelheid
- naar rechts, voor een grotere hoeveelheid (figuur 7)
Spuitmethoden
- Voor een goed resultaat is het belangrijk dat het oppervlak volledig schoon en vlak is voordat u met het spuiten begint.
Geadviseerd wordt het oppervlak vooraf grondig te behandelen.
- Alle oppervlakken die niet worden gespoten, afplakken met inbegrip van moeren en schroeven.
- Spuit eerst een proefstukje op een stuk karton of op een soortgelijke ondergrond als die welke u gaat bespuiten, zodat
u weet hoe u het spuitpistool het best kunt instellen. Ook wordt geadviseerd buiten het oppervlak met spuiten te beginnen
en op het oppervlak het spuiten niet te onderbreken.
- De verplaatsing bij het spuiten moet niet uit de pols maar uit de arm komen, zo garandeert u dat de afstand tussen
het pistool en het oppervlak altijd gelijk is. Kies een afstand van 5-15 cm afhankelijk van de gewenste breedte van de
straal. (figuur 8A) geeft de juiste positie weer waarin de afstand tot het voorwerp gelijk is; (figuur 8B) daarentegen geeft
de verkeerde positie, omdat de ongelijke afstand tot een onregelmatig resultaat leidt.
- Richt het spuitpistool gelijkmatig in transversale richting of omhoog en omlaag, afhankelijk van de instelling van de
spuitstraal.
- Het gelijkmatige bewegen van het spuitpistool levert een gelijkmatig oppervlak op.
- Als het afwerkmateriaal zich in het mondstuk en de luchtdop opeenhoopt, moeten beide onderdelen met oplosmiddel
of water worden schoongemaakt.
HET GEBRUIK ONDERBREKEN

Als u het gebruik van het apparaat voor minder dan 4 uur moet onderbreken:
- Schakel het apparaat uit.
- Plaats het spuitpistool in de houder.
- Bij het verwerken van 2-component lakken moet het apparaat onmiddellijk worden schoongemaakt.
BUITEN BEDRIJF STELLEN

Voor de correcte werking van het apparaat is goed schoonmaken van wezenlijk belang. Geadviseerd wordt:
- Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact. Ontlucht de reservoirs als u het werk langere tijd onderbreekt of met het werk
klaar bent. Open daartoe het reservoir even en sluit het vervolgens weer, of bedien de trekker van het spuitpistool en
giet de verf over in de originele verpakking.
- Demonteer het spuitpistool.
- Draai het reservoir los. Verwijder het materiaal dat overgebleven is, en giet het terug in de verpakking.
- Maak met een borsteltje het reservoir en de stijgbuis schoon. Maak de ontluchtingsopening schoon (figuur 9-8).
- Vul het reservoir met oplosmiddel of water en draai het vast. Er mogen uitsluitend oplosmiddelen gebruikt worden
waarvan het ontvlammingspunt boven 21 C ligt.
- Monteer het spuitpistool weer (figuur 9).
- Steek de stekker in het stopcontact, zet het apparaat aan en spuit oplosmiddel of water in een bak of doek.
- Zet het apparaat uit en neem de stekker uit het stopcontact.
- Draai het reservoir los en leeg het. Verwijder de stijgbuis en de pakking van het reservoir.
- Trek de ventilatiebuis (figuur 9A-12) boven het huis van het spuitpistool. Draai de ventieldop los (figuur 9A-13) en
verwijder het membraan (figuur 9A-14). Maak alle onderdelen grondig schoon.
- Draai de dopmoer los, verwijder de luchtdop en het mondstuk. Maak de luchtdop, de pakking van het mondstuk en
het mondstuk met een borsteltje en oplosmiddel, of water, schoon. Het wordt niet aangeraden de pakkingen, het
membraan en de openingen van het mondstuk of de openingen voor de ontluchting van het spuitpistool met scherpe
puntige voorwerpen schoon te maken.
- Maak de buitenkant van het spuitpistool met een in oplosmiddel of water gedrenkt doekje schoon.
- Monteer de onderdelen weer.
Onderhoud
Luchtdeksel / mondstuk Verwijder het luchtdeksel en mondstuk van het pistool en dompel ze onder in schoon
oplosmiddel. Droog het pistool met perslucht. Als de kleine openingen verstopt zijn, leg dan ook het luchtdeksel in
oplosmiddel. Als de openingen geruimd moeten worden, gebruik dan een tandenstoker, een rietje of een ander voorwerp
van een materiaal dat niet erg hard is.
Maak de openingen niet met draden, spijkers of een ander soortgelijk hard voorwerp schoon. Als u deze aanwijzingen
niet in acht neemt, kan het deksel blijvend beschadigd raken waardoor de straal groter en het resultaat van het spuiten
mogelijk onvoldoende wordt.
Opslag
Berg het spuitpistool op met wat oplosmiddel in het luchtdeksel en mondstuk om te verkomen dat de naald van het
pistool uitdroogt of breekt waardoor er lucht of vloeistof kan lekken.
MONTAGE
Het apparaat mag uitsluitend wordt gebruikt met een onbeschadigd membraan (figuur 9A-14). Plaats het membraan
met de pen omhoog op het onderste deel van het ventiel. Zie ook het merkteken op het huis van het pistool. Plaats de
dop voorzichtig op het ventiel en draai deze vast terwijl u op de dop drukt. Steek de ventilatiebuis in de dop van het
ventiel en het aansluitstuk in het huis van het pistool. Schuif de pakking met de inkeping naar voren op het mondstuk
(figuur 9B).
Zet het mondstuk in het huis van het pistool en draai het op de juiste plaats. Zet de luchtdop op het mondstuk en zet
deze vast met de dopmoer.
Plaats tot slot de pakking van het reservoir aan de onderkant in de stijgbuis en schuif hem door tot aan de verbinding.
Draai hiertoe de pakking van het reservoir iets en breng de stijgbuis met de pakking in het huis van het pistool aan.
