A derivative is going to play a vital role in the rest of this class. For this reason, its essential
to understand what a derivative is and how a derivative can be used. In groups of 3-4
people, I would like for you to research a particular field that uses derivatives. Once you
find a field, figure out which interpretation of a derivative is being used. Lastly, accumate
all of your information and create either a PowerPoint or a poster board detailing your
findings. As a group you will be presenting this material a week from when this is
assigned.
Essential components:
1. Explain what a derivative is and its three different interpretations
2. Research and present on a field or subject that uses derivatives
a. Just report on a single field, no more
b. Explain which interpretation is being used
3. Create a PowerPoint or large poster board for presenting your information
