Dettol (Sheron Ke Pannje) add on Pakistan mainstream media and online. The Add peruse the
utility of washing hands before eat. The Add have CSR for health and its correlation with Dettol
hand wash products. It was a persuasive advertisement.

The Language used was Urdu, The dressing used by school children and the main female
character of Mother was Western. The female role was supporting, the food presented was
traditional western food while the celebrations shown was birthday depicting western
celebration.

Advertisement #02
Cadbury wedding advertisement on Pakistani mainstream media and on social media. The
advertisement show the daughter love for her father during her wedding, the emotions and
love is expressed in sharing Cadbury chocolate. It was a reminder advertisement.

The language used was completely Urdu, the dresses were all traditional eastern dresses while
the women have the central role in this advertisement. The food mentioned in Add was Eastern
i.e. biryani while eastern celebration of marriages was shown.

Shan Masala Add with Chinese making biryani for neighbor. The Add show the love of Pakistani
people for biryani and promoting as It's really as easy as feeding Pakistanis biryani to win them
over. The Advertisement went viral on social media and during its first few weeks become top
Twitter and Facebook trend. It was an persuasive advertisement.

The language of Advertisement was mostly Urdu and the dress depiction was also eastern
traditional dress of kameez shalwar, with women having the central lead role. The food
depiction was purely traditional Biryani while no celebration or festival was shown in
advertisement.

TUC Biscuits advertisement Shaam Ko Bhook Aye Bin Bataye Aise situation mai Tuc to the
rescue. The Ad showing famous Mahira khan explaining the utility of TUC in context of wedding
and family orchestration. How TUC biscuits can avoid the odd time hunger. It was a persuasive
Advertisement.

The language was solely Urdu, dressing was traditional while women have central role in this
advertisement. The food item was Biscuits as western food while the festival / celebration
talked out was eastern i.e. of an eastern marriage.

Supreme Tea Advertisement was shown both on main stream media and online. The advertising
is showing the family environment of Pakistan and promoting to keep the core values intact and
pushing the consumers towards its Supreme brand. The advertisement was persuasive. Ad was
showing eastern festival of family.

The language used was Urdu, the dressing depicted was eastern as well as western and also the
theme was of traditional eastern cloths, women roles are of main. The theme and the tea
shown in Advertisement was for eastern food.

Ad showing importance of using safeguard soap. Kids were telling each other that safeguard
soap will safeguard us from lot of infections on daily basis. Doctors were also giving guarantee
that using safeguard will ensure your health and whole day free of virus and bacteria.

Language used was purely Urdu and people were wearing western dresses. Female were shown
in filer role and kids were in support role. There is no food or festival shown in that ad.

Mobilink ad showing Sara Khan as main role in that ad. Ad was showing 3G internet packages
offered by mobilink. Further, ad was inspiring mobilnik and non mobilink users to come on
jazz network and enjoy speedy 3 G internet from Jazz. Also, lot of data on economic rate as
compared to other ads.
The language of Advertisement was mostly Urdu and the dress depiction was also western with
pent and tea shirt wear by Sara Khan, with women having the central lead role while no
celebration or festival was shown in advertisement.

Ad airing Adnan Siddiqui & Sohai Ali Abro was shown on mainstream as well as on many other
mediums. On YouTube this Advertisement have crossed 1 million views in a week. The
advertisement was showing importance of DC converter Ac of Hair and was persuasive in
nature. Ad also focused cheap AC and saving of money.
The Language used was Urdu, the dressing depiction was western by Soha Ali and Adnan, and
the women role was in support of the main husband character, while there was no festival
shown in that ad.

Lux Advertisement mostly on mainstream media. The advertisement shows Mahira khan and
Fawad khan promoting the Lux brand for Unilever. The advertisement was mainly a reminder for
consumer of Lux brand.

The Language used was urdu, the dressing was western while the women have the central role
in advertisement.

Kenwood air-conditioning advertising in mainstream media and on internet. On YouTube this
Advertisement have crossed 1 million views in a week to its naive humor. The advertisemdn was
reminder and persuasive.

The Language used was Urdu, the dressing depiction was mostly western, and the women role
was in support of the main husband character, while the festival talked about was western
weeding.

Vital Tea Advertisement both on main stream media and online. The advertising is showing the
cultural change in Pakistan and promoting to keep the core values intact and pushing the
consumers towards its Team brand. The advertisement was persuasive.

shown in Advertisement was for eastern food.

Kisan Vigitable Ghee and cooking oil Advertisement mainly on mainstream media. The
advertising showing the joint family system and eastern food. The advertisement depicted both
family and single couple. The advertisement shown was mainly a reminder for consumer.

The Language used was Urdu, the dressing was mostly traditional, Women role was central and
the food shown was mainly eastern food.

Ad on Tea Time was shown on mainstream and also on social media. Ad showing use of tea
time biscuits from educational places to homes to any other visiting places. Ad so far seen
13,139 times on youtube. Ad showed that tea time biscuits are not for only urban areas but it is
also used in rural areas.
Ad we purely in our own language, women were shown as supporting role. People shown in ad
had mixed clothes. Ad was persuasive ad.

Ad Zaalima Coca Cola Pila De was aired on both online and mainstream media. Coke
advertisement for their Coke brand and campaign for battle of Bands.Ad showing tired
couple back to home. Then they opened coke and got fresh by having cock at that time.
The Language used was Urdu inform of song, the dressing was western, Women role was
supporting and male role was main.

Daraz ad was shown on both mainstream and online medium. Ad was showing how efficient
daraz is making your transaction. It was easy to use daraz and get delivery on time at your door
steps. Ad also focused on guarantee, safety, ease of use, convenient, cash on delivery, etc
features of daraz.

Ad was purely in Urdu language with men as main role in the ad. Females were not shown at all
in that ad. Characters were wearing western dresses and was performing on a song telling
features of daraz.

A 30 seconds ad made by olx has gained much of its targets. Ad focused on use of olx app on
mobile to sell all of unused items as fast as you can. If you want to upgrade your vehicle then
just go to olx and sell your old vehicle and buy new one with growing need.

Ad was in Urdu language and was airing males and females. There was no festival shown in that
ad. Character was wearing mixed dress. Female was showing in filer role and men were shown
in main role.

Surf excel ad Surf Excel 100% Tough Stain Removal Faster ad was show on all available
mediums. Ad had shown that its only surf excel which can remove even tough stains from
your clothes so carry on with good works. Kid was helping her grandmother and in result
his shirt got dirty.
Urdu language was used throughout the ad and females are shown as main role in that ad.
There was not any festival in that ad. Characters having western wear and only kid had western
clothes.

Conclusion:
If we summarize all the ads that we have discussed here, we will find that language used in
most of the ads was Urdu. In most of the ads character were wearing eastern dresses so that
our culture can be depicted in each ad. However, some ads have shown western dresses for
people who love western culture. It is also seen that in most of the ads women having
traditional eastern dresses so that these ads can be accepted in our culture. Further, females
were shown as lead role in most of the ads. However, some ads have also shown females in
supportive/ side role. In some ads food was shown and that food was mostly eastern. Most of
the advertising have women in support role and in few as lead roles specially depicting the rule
of women as house wife or central or attraction and attention. The food shown in most of the
advertisements was Eastern food while most of the festivals were also eastern festival like
Ramadan or eastern weddings. This also shows the viewer preferences of food and festival
along with social and cultural norms about food and celebrations.
