OFP CONSTITUTION
I. The name of this independent
ecclesiastical state shall be OFP and its
duration perpetual.
II. The object for which the OFP exists is to
walk in YHWH, our Judge, Lawgiver and
King's statutes and keep His commandments;
establish and maintain places for divine
worship and religious observance; maintain
schools for instruction; establish relations
within the local communities; propagate the
faith; provide victual, education, medical,
and other assistance to the needy.
III. The Pentateuch shall be the OFP
constitution and body of law, as written in
the LXX, Codex Vaticanus B.
IV. All circumcised men; and women; who
are of the faith and who subscribe to the
objectives of the OFP shall be eligible for
membership.
V. The OFP council and constituency
consists of the entirety of the body of elders
of the OFP.
VI. The elders shall appoint judges, and
promulgators of the Law for the judges. Men
of wisdom, knowledge and understanding,
pious men of integrity who hate pride shall
be appointed and set over as rulers of
thousands, and rulers of hundreds, and rulers
of fifties, and rulers of tens; administering
justice to the congregation on all occasions,
hearing the causes between brethren, and
judging righteously between every man and
his brother, and the stranger who is with him.
VII. Feast days shall be thus reckoned; a
day shall begin and end at midnight and
consist of twenty-four hours. The year shall
begin the marrow of the vernal equinox and
consist of three hundred and sixty-five days
divided into twelve months of 30 days with
a head of months, or intercalary day, at the
completion of every three months; resetting
every vernal equinox. The first day of the
year, a Sabbath, begins the one in seven
cycle. Jubilee, the fiftieth year following
seven weeks of years, the forty-nine year
cycle, shall be the first year of the
subsequent cycle.
VIII. OFP satellites, including cloisters,
missions, lodges and other auxiliaries shall
be autonomous; dependent upon and subject
to the provisions and regulations of this
constitution and canon, conforming to and
abiding by them.
1. Said bodies shall make request for a
charter to the OFP or existent satellite. The
charter shall be issued and sealed upon
receipt of the constitution and covenant
executed by the charter members of the
projected body. Sealed covenants shall be a
ratification of, and agreement on its part to
be bound by, the constitution and canon of
the OFP.
