Mooring 2
Due to weather constraints this instrument will be recovered in the next couple of weeks
and shipped back to Hobart.
Mooring 3
Mooring 3 was recovered at approx 07:55 Tues 15th Aug. Conditions were 10Kt 15 Kt
NE wind on a low to moderate swell.
The mooring was recovered without incident and initial inspection showed internal
fouling of the conductivity sensor. (Part of this data set may be compromised)
Data Files:-
Mooring 4 was recovered off Rabbit Island at approx 14:40 Tues 15th August.
There was a significant amount of weed growing on the SBE19 instrument package and
its associated mooring wire. Light data would be suspect for this instrument, however the
fluorometer window looked in good condition.
The ADCP was stopped at 17:07 local time.
Data Files:-
Mooring 5
Mooring 5 was recovered off Boston Island at approx 13:15. This package had minimal
amounts of fouling on it and should contain valid data.
The Nortek was stopped at 4:42 utc.

Mooring 6
Mooring 6 was recovered of Donnington at approx 15:45 15th August with significant
amounts of weed growing on it, this unit will have similar concerns regarding data as
mooring 4.
The SBE 19 was stopped at 19:06 local.
Data Files:-
The Ngerin arrived at Adelaide at approx 20:00 16th August. All the instruments and
moorings were packaged up on 6 pallets for shipping back to Hobart
Once again I would like to thanks the crew of the Ngerin for their efforts in making this
recovery as successful as it was.
The data from the recovery trip has been copied onto CD and given to Mike.
