WORK PROGRESS SUMMARY

In-Progress activities
Following jobs remain in progress during the week.

1. Environment impact Assessment Report.


2. Review of PIDs in light of comments given for fuel, steam and compressed
air system.
3. HVAC system PIDs review.
4. Understanding SLD of 220KV switch yard and their deficiencies high
lightened by NESPAK and comments from CMEC review.
5. Understanding tripping logic of 220KV switch yard and their deficiencies
high lightened by NESPAK.
6. Understanding protection system SLD 220KV switch yard.
7. Equipment review before and after layout and their comment from CMEC
and NESPAK.
8. Topic related protection of GT and ST step-up transformer and generator are
under study.
9. Messing and Prayer room masonry work is in progress.
10. Conducting TBT.
11. Trusses and roof panels are installed.
12. Design calculation of boundary wall was reviewed and drawings related to
boundary wall and watch towers were discussed.
13. Pump out test of recharge capacity of aquifer.

Completed activities
Following jobs completed during this week.

1. EIA methodology study.


2. Study of PIDs of fuel gas and oil supply system.
3. Study of PIDs of closed cooling water system for simple and combine cycle.
4. Study of PIDs of compressed air system.
5. HRSG steam and water system study.
6. Study of PIDs of once through water system.
7. Study of PIDs Steam system.
8. Study of PIDs of chemical part.
9. Study of condenser system.
10. Study of Revised Civil Drawings of TSF.
11. Review on calculation report on layout of piling and related drawings.
Issues and concerns
Following points need to address on priority.

1. Language barrier between EPC and concerned persons is an issue which waste
time increase in number of translators should be considered.
2. No initial safety orientation conducted by EPC.
3. Incident reporting and other concerned HSE documents still not submitted.
4. New hiring inducted to work without proper initial HSE orientation.
5. No paramedic staff and medical facilities at site for emergency need and initial
medical screening for new hiring.
6. Large amount of solid and liquid waste is generated and no proper disposal plan
is submitted.
7. Scafolder and riggers are not third body certified.
8. Welding quality is of not good.
9. Furnishing material for TSF was submitted for approval and quality of material
used is of low grade.
10. Scafolding should clearly marked for everybody to see.

11. Equipment at site has no proper fitness inspection certificate.
12. Temporary wooden scafolding is used at TSF which is an un-safe act.
13. First aid facilities at site missing at site.
14. Safe sub-contractor for CMEC is constantly misconducting.
