A. Basic Information Page:

Long form-West Canaderica

Short form- W.C.
Etymology- America- Americanus is a latin word. Canada- kanata likely comes from the
Huron- Iroquois word meaning village or settlement
Nationality- West Canadericans
Capitol- Minnesopolis, West Canaderica. We chose Minnesopolis as the capital
because it was on the border of America and Canada. We thought this showed unity as
well as a certain fairness since it was in the middle of both.
Currency- Our currency is the Wessel. It is a paper form of money. 1 Wessel = 2 USD.
We also have Canacoins. They work as smaller forms of money, commonly used for tax
and change.

Flag- There are 9 stars to represent the 27 provinces. We divided it by 3 because our
country went from being America and Canada to West Canaderica. The two became
one. The flag is different shades of blue because when we think of the west we think of
the beaches and the water. And finally, the colors of the stars are the colors of the
American flag and the Canadian flag.
Provinces-
1. Panada 24. Schoech Republic
2. Northavut 25. Lipton
3. Isoscelot 26. Deserton
4. Ariffington 27. New Texico
5. Troncon
6. Petitburg
7. Carrelong
8. South Troncon
9. Glenville
10. Onze
11. Milieu
12. Dunngoba
13. Kingsley
14. New Oregon
15. Dakotawa
16. Minnesconsin- Minnespolis (Capitol)
17. Ohiodana
18. St. Grandlacs
19. Califlorida
20. Wyota
21. Britanaca
22. Piege
23. Tennisippi
When the countries became one, the presidents didnt know how to separate the
provinces. So, they had a cartographer make 100s of different combinations of shapes
that fit the country like a puzzle and the presidents picked one of them randomly and
that is how the provinces were created.

D. Economic Policies Page

In our country we have an capitalistic system as our economy. In our country, people
own their own companies. This type of economy gives people the feel of freedom.

In our country our domestic economy policy is a tax rate of 5 percent throughout the
country. This is very low compared to other countries bt since we have a mass amount
of industries the tax money builds up. This also allows more people to afford cars and
other needed items. In our country we also have a tax of 8 percent on foreign goods. We
tax differently so our country is bought form more.
Our form of taxation will have many impacts on our country. The first impact to our
country is that decreasing the amount of trade with other countries decreasing the
chance of issue with foreign countries as we are pretty neutral. Also by having a lower
tax rate on domestic goods people are more likely to buy domestic goods. This in turn
will benefit our country as more people will be paying tax to us rather than other
countries. But our taxation is not unfair as we will have many benefits for the people
such as free healthcare.

In our country industries and corporations are able to trade with countries as long as
they are peaceful with us. But overall we try to limit foreign trade as we do not want to
rely on other countries too heavily. This could give them an upper hand if we were to
have any conflict. As for national trade we mostly allow it. Corporations and industries in
the nation are allowed to trade with each other fairly. This increases peace in our
country as more people in it work together.
These policies impact our country in many ways. Trade can cause many problems if not
done right. In our country foreign trade is allowed but still controlled. This way
companies can get what they need without relying on other countries to much. Also our
national trade policy is very effective. People in our country can trade and increase
peace and economic effectivity at the same time.

E. Environmental Policies
Everyone is required to recycle and use a compost bin. You must recycle paper, glass
and plastic using three separate bins than are given to you by the city. Compost is used
to fertilize home gardens of can be given to the city for a small sum of money. Factories
can be running no more than 48 hours a week to preserve clean air. Because of the
time limit, the smoke wont impact the air as much. If a factory goes longer than the 48
hours they will be fined $2700. Only use electric powered cars. If not electric, they may
only be running for one day of the week.

Our environmental policies will have many good impacts. By using compost and
recycling we can reduce trash and waste production. Also decreasing factory production
will decrease the amount of carbon emissions released into the air. Also because of the
time limit of using regular cars, the exhaustion gases wont pollute the air as much.
Using electric cars cuts down the need for gas and is better for the air.

F. Foreign Policy and National Defense Page

West Canaderica has formal diplomatic relations with most nations. This includes all
U.N. member states except for Bhutan, Iran, and North Korea. We trade with several
countries as well. If we sense any sign of threat or danger from another country we will
break off trade with them and will continue once they take back the threat.

By having a healthy trade with other countries we will better our relations with then. This
in turn will make sure they never fight us and that they will support us in times when we
need allies. Also cutting of trade with countries who threaten us will prove to be very
useful. We are one of the most good producing countries in the world which means
countries heavily rely on our exports so when we cut off trade they will greatly be
negatively impacted. This in turn will make them take back there threat and continue to
work with us, and it wont require any violence.

Our country like any other will have many threats to our national security. First we have
the threat of Terrorism. This is why i order to even get into the country we do a huge
database check on every person. We also have highly secure buildings. However if
national security problems worsen then we will have no choice but to enforce some sort
of travel ban or something close to that.

H. Migration Page
Most people are welcome in West Canaderica. In order to get into the country you must
have a passport, proof of ID, and birth certificate along with any needed immigration
papers. Also to get into the country you must have little to no criminal backpack. If there
are any charges of first degree murder the person will not be allowed in. New
immigrants will have to apply for citizenship and must have a stable job to do so. In turn
the government will provide them with healthcare and social security.

Our immigration policies will greatly help our country. First off by not letting people with
large criminal backgrounds in the country we will highly reduce crime rate. Also will will
disintegrate the threat of terrorists or any other dangerous people who would attack our
country. Also by providing immigrants with free healthcare we will reduce or even
demolish the spread of disease. This will also stop the spread of disease that
immigrants would have carried into the country.

I. Political Information Page

The government system is multiple things. A presidentials system, a liberal democracy,
a constitutional republic, and a federal republic. We chose this type because it is similar
to what the United States government system is, and although there is problems in it,
with our strict law enforcement, we believe it will be a very effective government system
for our new country
The political leaders for our country will the presidents, the supreme court, the senate,
the House of Representatives, etc. The 3 current presidents are Carls Junior, Alexander
Hamilton the XXII and Bob Jon Bob.

Description/Definitions:
~Presidents- elected by national vote, the elected heads of a republican state,
~the Supreme Court- the highest judicial court in a country or state
~The Senate- any of various legislative or governing bodies, in particular
~the House of Representatives-the lower legislative branch in many national and state

J. Social Services Page

Our country has several social service policies to help every citizen out. Our first policy
would be free healthcare. Every citizen can apply for and receive free healthcare in west
canaderica. Second is security, every community will have at least two security guards.
If the community is gated then only one is required since the gate protects it.

Our social service policies affect the community greatly. First off the several benefits
come from free healthcare. We have stronger and longer living population and we will
decrease the spread of disease greatly. Our security will ensure our community is safe.
This will decrease crime rate and make sure everyone is protected and safe. It will also
increase jobs as more security officers will be needed.

K. Education Page
In West Canaderica education will be available to everyone. We will have several public
schools for people who are not able to afford education. We will also have private
schools for people who prefer paid education. The public schools will be a little more
expensive than other places to help cover some the public schools. For colleges and
universities they will be paid education but people will be able to get scholarships. This
will make people in our country a lot smarter as they will have to work harder and be
smarter to get scholarships.

In West Canaderica high school will start in 10th grade and will end in 12th. This will
give kids a taste of highschool in 9th grade so that when they start it they will
understand things more easily. College will be four years. In our schools subjects that
are not very necessary for the future will not be taught. Also each person will only take
classes related to what they want to be when they are older. This way students will
enjoy education more and they won't be taking any unnecessary classes.
