Hey Koach girlies! Its Sabrina and Jordyn your
Spring Term 2017 sunshine girls. We have loved
being sunshine girls so far this term. Get really
pumped because these next two weeks are the
start of the shark family challenges for the term. If

vanit! I have been having so much fun being
your Katvanit and I am so thankful for everyone

Gizborit - Sofia Chartove

Hi everyone! This term has been amazing so far
and I have so many fun things in store! Based on
the survey, it seems like this terms wearable is
going to be boxers! If you have any design ideas
(or any ideas in general) text them to me at 240-
507-7986! We have tons of fun, creative fund-
raisers and bake sales coming up so make sure
to keep checking the facebook group frequently.
This term, I have created I$F change wars jars and Once there was an ugly barna-

Shlicha - Mia Pearce
Hey Sharkies!! The start to this term has been
absolutely jawesome! We had a super fun big/lit-
tle shabbat where shark fams were revealed, we
ate amazing cal tor, read about Sammy Spiders
first shabbat, prayed (yay Judaism!), and had an
interesting conversation about dreams. I want to
give a shoutout to my chairs for helping me plan
and lead, y all rock. We also had a fintastic Israel
program where we not only had fun, talked to an
Israeli (S/o to Maya), and made food, lip scrubs, Dont just fly, soar. -- Dum-
and bracelets, but we went deeper and spoke up bo (Dumbo)
for Israel. Last but definitely not least we chose
a stand up cause that were all passionate about,
suicide prevention and awareness. Im so so ex-
cited for the rest of an amazing term with all you

HEY HEY! I could not have asked for a better
beginning to Spring Term 17!!!! The sisterhood
program was AMAZING and I am so so happy so
many people could come and connect. I cannot

Hi Sharkies! This term has absolutely exceeded my ex-
pectations so far. All of you have been so enthusiastic
about programming, candle making, sisterhood, and
jewish education; it makes me so happy to see all of you
so engaged in the chapter!!!
To my fintastic board: YOU GUYS ARE ABSOLUTE-
LY KILLING IT. Every single one of you has been fincred-
ibly passionate, determined, and driven when it comes
to your responsibilities, I am proud beyond words. Thank
you x10000 for being amazing and for giving this term
everything youve got, I love each and every one of you

 FUNNY CHILDHOOD STORIES

When I was younger, I used to
take yoga classes as an after-school
program at Washington Hebrew.
I had a lot of friends so one day,
after the class, we decided to play
tag. We were running around the
all-purpose room and I got tagged.
So I went after one of the guys
in my class. So he jumped on the
stage and in an attempt to tag him,
I jumped too. I tripped on the stage
and hit my head on the stage. I had
to get stitches on my eyebrow and
the hair still hasnt grown back.
Dont chase the boys kids, itll only
get you a hospital visit and ques-
tions every time you get your eye-
brows waxed.
When i was 7 or so, i saw kung fu
panda with kayla, daphne, and
one of daphnes friends and i
bought reeces pieces to have
during the movie. Because kung fu
panda was so interesting, I didnt
have time to finish my recees
pieces during the movie, so I had
extra afterwards. My uncle at the
time was really into goofing off
and sticking carrots up his nose,
grapes in his ears, etc. I decided
I would goof off in the car ride
home and stick the reecees piec-
es up my nose. it ended up getting
stuck in my sinus canal and i had
to get it vacuumed out at the hos-
pital!

Daphne Kaplan
When I was little, instead of having playdates with friends, I made home
videos on my computer. The videos were not just any ordinary videos, they
captured my entire life whether I was at the computer or NOT!!! Everyday, I
had the DAPHNE SHOW where I would either sing, dance, or literally say
nonsense ( that I still do not know what I was saying to this day) and I would
pretend to have these viewers that were currently on the video, and I would
to talk to them as if they were there ( jokes). Anyways, I ended up doing these
videos from 2009-2013 with friends and family.The funniest part of the vid-
eos is my familys reaction, and how they just sat there as if it was perfectly
normal. I JUST FOUND THE VIDEOS AND THEY MADE MY LIFE!!

whatever. I went to one of those open auditions,
and got a callback!!! I went through the entire pro-
cess, but then I had the biggest dilemma of my
childhood. At the time I was really into competitive
dance, so I felt the need to decide between acting
and dance. I literally went to my guidance counsel-
or, and made pros and cons list for staying in dance
and switching to acting. Ultimately I decided that it
