First Question:
1-) * Electrical engineers: design, develop and test electrical systems and electronic devices in
the power plant.
* Mechanical engineers: design engines, manufacturing parts, heating, ventilation, and air-
conditioning (HVAC) systems, heat exchangers, heat sinks, radiators, refrigeration, insulation,
and others they also design, develop, test electric motors and other electrical systems.
* Civil engineers: plan and manage the construction of the plant and they assure the quality of the
construction.
* Chemical engineers: search for the best and cheapest power recourse so its used to produce
electrical energy.
* Environment engineers: make studies on the environmental impact of the power plant and they
develop regulations to prevent any environmental disaster caused by the power plant.
* Technicians: prepare designs and drawings as requested by engineers.
* Craftsmen: install machines and equipments in the power plant as engineers ask them to.

2-) * Electrical engineers: supervise the deployment of electrical systems and electronic devices
in the power plant, deals with the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.
* Mechanical engineers: run engines, manufacturing parts, heating, ventilation, and air-
conditioning (HVAC) systems, heat exchangers, heat sinks, radiators, refrigeration, insulation,
and others they also supervise electric motors and other electrical systems they also examine why
and how objects fail and try to fix these failures.
* Chemical engineers: maintain chemical processes in certain way to ensure the most economical
operation and their most important job in the power plant is to supervise and control machines
that convert energy for example converting energy from petrol to electricity.
* Environment engineers: recycle, dispose and conduct the plant hazardous waste.
* Craftsmen: use and repair machines and equipments in the power plant as engineers ask them
to.

3-) The power plant will positively contribute in the development of society in many ways such
as: participating in local industrial fair, charity donation and raising funds, participating in
improving the educational system and knowledge of citizen and giving scholarships, build side
manufactories that help the main power plant and support the country economy.
4-) Power plants can cause serious pollution to the environment if not controlled correctly, they

can seriously pollute the air by the emission of greenhouse gases they can also cause air clogging
and acid rain they also participate in global warming and rising the earth temperatures plus they
pollute water and soil by dropping toxics and waste in water and burying them under the ground.
But how can we limit and reduce the effect of power plants on environment ?
Will environmental engineers are responsible for that, they have to designed power plants more
efficient that produce less waste and design, develop new and clean energy resources such as
wind energy and solar energy. Governments are also responsible, they have to Implementing a
wide range of measures to control emissions from power plants, adopt tighter fuel emission
standards and adopt cleaner alternatives to petrol and coal.

Second Question:
Traits of successful engineer:
Communication skills: engineers must have good communication skills so they can
interact with other engineers and craftsmen and make them understand the design, the
drawings and teach them how to use and install machines.
Logical thinking: successful engineers make decisions based upon reason rather than
emotions
Continuing education: successful engineer must keep up to date and search for new
informations and new developments so he can one of the top engineers.
Organization: successful engineer have to be organized so he can complete the project on
time within budget.
Creativity: a successful engineer must be creative so he can find the best solution to
satisfy the project goals.
