All,

I hope this email finds you all well. It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating
around that Mark was terminated today. I want to assure you that is not the case. Mark has
decided to retire. The new chief was chosen tonight as well as a new assistant chief of police. An
announcement will be sent to you within the next few days advising you of who your new
leaders will be.

In the meantime I ask that you not engage in these rumors and that you help provide accurate
information. If someone asks you it is ok to say that Mark retired.

Chris and Travis are in charge in the interim and we will advise you on the selections as soon as
we absolutely can. If anyone has any questions you may call or text me.
