SERVICE INFORMATION
If the Output Speed Sensor has been removed and replaced for any reason:

NOTE: Input/Turbine Speed Sensor does not require shims. That Sensor is flush
mounted to CVT casting.
The correct number of spacer shims must be installed between the Sensor and the CVT
body.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Determine required number of shims by model:

2. Assemble the Output Speed Sensor with the proper o-ring.

3. Place bolt with attached washers through hole on the Sensor.

4. After determining the correct number of washers for the vehicle, place the shims over
the portion of the bolt that is exposed below the sensor body.

5. Assemble as seen below: Torque retaining bolt to 5.9 N•m (0.6 kg-m, 52 in-lb)
