Serg is able to easily build rapport with students and communicates positively. She
approaches students confidently. She is able to observe student needs and communicate
with the teacher. She is polite with staff and asks questions for clarification. Her written
language is correct and ideas are clear.
Serg is consistently on time and dependable. She dresses appropriately for the classroom.
She usually has a positive attitude towards the activities she is performing. She especially
shows enthusiasm when working with students she has established a rapport with.
3. DEPORTMENT: (Maturity, poise, composure under pressure, confidence, flexibility,
demonstrates initiative, ability to respond to student / client differences)
She demonstrates initiative in observing which students may need support. She is able to
develop strategies to use with the teacher's request for support. She shows maturity and
flexibility when transitioning from one activity to another, or from grade to grade. She is
making progress with working with a variety of students with diverse needs.
4. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT: (Respects the dignity and rights of all persons, respects
confidentiality of information about students / clients and school / site personnel, acts in a
manner that maintains the honour and dignity of the profession, maintains professional
relationship with staff and students / clients)
Serg is consistently respectful of students and staff. She is extremely respectful of student
confidentiality and information. She maintains a professional relationship with staff and
students.
Overall, Serg is excellent with building relationships with the students. She is able to
circulate around the room and assist students who need help without teacher directing. She
has a natural ability with students in grade 3 and 6. She is calm and friendly without
overstepping professional boundaries. Moving forward, Serg is encouraged to continue to
follow teacher direction and make connections with the scope and sequence of curriculum.
