The appeal Iodged by the player Jose Paolo Guerrero Gonzales against the
decision rendered by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on 7 December 2017 is
partially upheld.

The player Jose Paolo Guerrero Gonzales is declared ineligible for a period of
six months for violation of art. 6 of the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations starting
as from the date of notification of the present decision. The period of
provisional suspension already served by Mr Guerrero — since 3 November 2017
—shail be credited against the total period of ineligibility to be served.

In compiiance with the Preliminary Title "I. Definitions and Interpretation" of


the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations as regards to the notion of "ineligibility" a5
weil as art. 29 of the same regulations, the player Jose Paolo Guerrero
Gonzales is suspended for a specified period of time from participating in any
Competition (which covers all types of matches, including domestic,
international, friendly and official) or other activity or from receiving sport-
related financial support as provided in the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations.

The costs and expenses of these proceedings in the amount of CHF 3,000 are
to be borne by the player Jose Paolo Guerrero Gonzales. This amount is set off
against the appeal fee of CHF 3,000 already paid by the player Jose Paolo
Guerrero Gonzales.

The player Jose Paolo Guerrero Gonzales shaII bear his own legal and other
costs incurred in connection with the present proceedings.

The motivated decision will be communicated to the parties in full, written form.
The time limit to Iodge an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS)
begins upon receipt of this motivated decision (art. 116 par. 2 of the FIFA
Disciplinary Code in combination with art. 80 par. 3 of the FIFA Anti-Doping
Regulations).
