OBJECTIVE
My objective is to provide friendly, personal, and efficient service in any work environment. I
am a hard-working college student with strong interpersonal skills and effective public speaking
abilities. I am organized, punctual, and motivated, willing to take the initiative in any situation.
My liberal studies degree and my work experience have provided me with well-rounded and
useful work place skills, such as time management, planning, and social relations.

WORK HISTORY
Student Teacher WW Robinson Elementary School, Woodstock, VA  Fall 2015
Assisted a teacher in her third grade classroom once per week for six weeks. This assistance
included lesson planning, organizing and overseeing educational activities, and teaching lessons.
Additionally, assisted the teacher with classroom management which involved encouraging the
students to remain focused on their tasks, grading papers and assignments, and helping the
students reach their daily learning objectives. Most proud of the positive impact made on the
students and the opportunity to be a role model for young children.

Nanny Private Family, Clifton, VA  2013-2016


Provided care for children ages eight and eleven, Monday through Friday during the summer and
as needed throughout the school year. This care included driving the children to their summer
events, as well as organizing activities to help them find productive ways to spend their time,
such as swimming, hiking, and community programs. Most proud of having the opportunity to
impact young girls during a transitional age, and of providing them with ways to positively grow
and develop.

Kitchen Employee Camp Nazareth, Mercer, PA  2017


Worked as a staff member in the kitchen of a summer camp for six weeks, Monday through
Friday and half days on Saturday and Sunday. This work included preparing and cooking
breakfast, lunch, and dinner for campers and other staff members, as well as maintaining a clean
and organized kitchen, washing dishes, and setting up and dismantling catering elements. Also
served meals, interacting with campers and staff face to face in a customer service environment.
Specific focus was planning and preparing allergy meals conscious of gluten, soy, dairy, egg,
fish, and nut allergies as well as vegan and vegetarian preferences. Most proud of hard work and
dedication to the position and the ability to provide personalized meals and approaches to those
with special dietary restrictions.

Camp Counselor Camp Nazareth, Mercer, PA  2017


Served as a co-counselor for girls ages fourteen to fifteen at Camp Nazareth for four weeks, the
first of which was detailed training for the position. This leadership role involved chaperoning
members of the cabin through their daily events, encouraging their participation in said events,
and being a moral and emotional role model for these children. In addition, was one of two
leaders of a daily program for campers: the hiking program. This role required planning and
preparation for outdoor activities for campers between the ages of eight and eighteen, as well as
safely guiding them along the trails and maintaining the strict time limits of the daily schedule.
Most proud of forming lasting friendships with campers and helping them positively and
effectively overcome emotional and physical challenges while at camp.
