A Objective of the Course:
This course will introduce the students to the fundamentals of Radio frequency and wireless
communications related existing principles, theories, various laws, analysis, design and current
trends under following sub-topics: (1) Guided media, resonant circuits, impedance matching
networks and transformers, filters (2) Radio Wave Propagation models, fading types and effects,
cellular concepts, channel assignment and impairment mitigation techniques, interferences,
diversity, intelligent cell concept, Advanced intelligent network, 60 GHz wireless environment.
