They are just the same flow meters and flow transmitters are devices used to
measure the flow of liquids, vapors or gases that are passing through it. The
types of these are dependent upon the application and specifications required,
to ensure an accurate measurement which is often used to determine the
process condition in the industry.

A Flow meter is an instrument that is used to measure flow of fluids. On the

other hand a flow transmitter is an instrument that contains electronics to
provide an electrical output to your monitoring device. Chemtrols is leading

Flow Transmitter: Flow transmitter is the upgrade of flow meter where you can
transmit the flow value data to your monitoring system. flow data will be in
terms of 4–20 mA current, 0–10 vdc voltage, Pulse etc.
