Ethernet Sub-cards
ZXMSG 5200 (V2.0.2) has the following Ethernet sub-cards:
Ethernet uplink interface card (EUX)
Ethernet uplink card - fiber mode (FEI)
Giga Ethernet uplink card - fiber mode (GEUF)
Giga Ethernet uplink card - TX mode (GEUT)
Giga Ethernet interface card - simplified (GEIS)
Slave casing uplink interface card (SUPI)
Giga Ethernet interface card (GEI)
X5 X6
X4
Interfaces EUX card has two 100BaseTX ports (X5 and X6) for broadband
uplink and X4 port for cascading. Connect broadband and narrow
band cascade cables to X4 port. The cascade cable has a 5 x 4
plug. The first 5 x 4 plug is inserted in X4 port, starting from the
third row from the top. The space between the 5 x 4 plugs must
be two rows. At most four 5 x 4 plugs can be inserted in X4
interface.

IEBC card
Introduction IEBC is an Ethernet interface sub-card. It has 2 GE optical
interfaces. Each control unit or user unit is configured with one
IEBC card to provide uplink interfaces of 2 GE.
Functions The main functions of IEBC card are:
It provides four 8 Mbps HW LVDS for narrowband cascading.
It provides two GE interfaces for broadband cascading.
It provides two GE optical interfaces for broadband uplink.
Panel Figure 65 shows IEBC card.

Shelf Structure
The shelf dimensions are 339 mm x 482 mm x 318 mm (Height
x Width x Depth). This shelf consists of two layers. The upper
layer is fixed for cards while the lower layer is used for front
access cards. The front access card holds interfaces for
subscriber cable, cascade cable, monitor cable and maintenance
cable.
Figure 66 shows the shelf dimensions.
