August 2001: Selected as Zimbabwe Junior Captain and number 1 for World Junior Team
event in Milan aged 17. Zimbabwe achieved 11 th place.

January 2001: Quarter finalist of British Junior Open U19 aged 17.

May 2001: Winner of Zimbabwe Men’s’ Open title aged 18.

July 2001: Selected to represent Zimbabwe National Team for tour to South Africa aged 18.
