Personal statement
I am a student about to graduate from the University of Jordan in the linguistic department. Throughout
my study, I was a very hard working student, highly-motivated, positive and consistently completed work
by the deadline. All the courses I took provided me with several skills that developed my abilities in
communication, writing as well as applied language skills such as grammar, syntax, and semantics. I've
gained experience in Arabic to English and English to Arabic translation through several courses that gave
me the opportunity to develop my skills in translating general texts. I am also confident in using
technology and have an excellent background on how to integrate it into language learning classrooms
with good research skills acquired through taking CALL course.

Experience

PRIVATE TUTOR VOLUNTEER | 2016-2017

· Due to my own experience in learning, I have become an outstanding guide for Tawjihi students.
Through this experience I facilitated the learning process for students, helping them preparing and
developing the entire study materials. I have also worked to organize their study schedules, motivate
them, solve their problems and create a positive learning environment. In addition. I adapted teaching
methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Through this
experience, I have also learned to prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to
evaluate students' progress.
