2017 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION

FOR LANGUAGE TEACHING INC.

The Philippine Association for Language Teaching (PALT) Inc. will conduct its
2017 International Conference with the theme Language Education in Asia in the
Context of ASEAN from December 7 to 9, 2017 at the University of Santo Tomas
Campus in Manila.

The Conference aims to:

1. examine recent developments in the field of language education in

various Asian countries;
2. identify current issues and challenges besetting language
education in the context of ASEAN; and
3. develop English language capacity throughout the ASEAN region
while strengthening the use of local languages in the region.

The target participants are chief education supervisors, education program

supervisors, public school district supervisors, elementary, junior, and senior high
school principals, head teachers and department heads.
