Step 1 // Check your branding everywhere using the checklist on the following page Step 2 // If you haven't already | would definitely recommend creating the following documents that will be invaluable for keeping your branding consistent in the future: * A mission statement * Avision statement * A brand style guide * A brand philosophy (the personality of your brand - how you want your brand to make your audience feel?) * Ethical / moral guidelines Step 3 // Review your content and delete or update and edit anything that doesn't fit with your brand. This includes: * Your written copy (keep your tone / wording consistent) * Your blog posts * Your static pages * Your product descriptions * Your images * Your design elements (eg; colours, fonts, layout etc) Step 4 // Get your blog or website reviewed by someone else. Your visitors won't neccessarily look at your blog the same way you do and it's good to get feedback from different point of view. Brand << Brand Audit Checklist >> Use the checklist to audit what your current brand identity and branding tells people about your business and if it's saying what you want it to! Is your branding consistent across all channels both on and offline? Think about your: * Social Media * Website * 3rd part marketplace sites * Product labelling * Emails * Business cards and other promotional material * Packaging * Printed material (eg; invoices and packing notes) * Anywhere else you can think of Does it help tell visitors what you do? Is it working towards your Brand Mission Statement? Do all aspects of your branding match? (content, visuals, tone etc) Are your business strategies / produts / content etc in line with your brand philosophy and ethics? Are you sticking to your guidelines in your brand style guide?
