EDUCATION
Master of Occupational Therapy | University of Utah | August 2015 – May 2018
Has maintained a 3.8 GPA. Selected to serve as a member of the Occupational Therapy Student Advisory Committee and the Dean
of the College of Health’s Student Advisory Committee. Participated in diverse clinical fieldwork experiences including:
• Level I placements at Co-Occurring Re-Entry Empowerment, Camp Hippo Pediatric Therapy, Shriner’s Hospital for Children
SLC, Sugarhouse Outpatient Clinic, and the National Ability Center (hippotherapy).
• Level II, 12-week fieldwork with Intermountain Homecare. Provided home health services for Summit, Wasatch, and Utah
counties in both rural and urban settings. Diverse clientele including ortho, neuro, cancer, low vision, and dementia
patients. Scheduled, documented, and performed treatments including wheelchair and home safety evaluations, adaptive
equipment and ADL training, and home exercise programs.
• Current level II, 12-week placement at the VA Salt Lake Hospital. Providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for
veterans including neurorehabilitation, mental health services, lymphedema treatments, and hand therapy.

Bachelor of Science | University of Utah | August 2011 – May 2014


Majored in Communication and developed strong verbal and written communication skills. Minored in Animation Studies with a
focus on the biomechanics of movement. Achieved a 3.9 GPA, earning the Department of Communication Merit Scholarship and
graduated Summa Cum Laude. Member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

EXPERIENCE
Grants & Contracts Accounting Officer | University of Utah | August 2011 – August 2015
Took on increasing responsibility to meet the needs of my department, beginning as an Accounting Clerk and later being promoted
to Grants Officer. Demonstrated an attention to detail by overseeing financial reporting for federally funded research projects in
adherence to federal regulations and university procedures. Built strong professional relationships with researchers and
government agencies through prompt, effective correspondence. Demonstrated flexibility by working with a variety of financial
reporting systems and supporting management through a campus-wide accounting system upgrade. Chosen to serve on the
University of Utah Staff Council.

Classroom Skills Assistant | Utah State University Eastern | September 2010 – August 2011
Worked directly with disabled and non-traditional adult students in a classroom setting to prepare them to enter college. Helped
students develop skills related to keyboarding, computer use, time management, problem solving, and executive functioning
through computer-based academic programs.

Has volunteered with the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah, Special Olympics of Utah, and Intermountain Therapy Animals. Also,
volunteered abroad from January-May 2009 in Tehuacan, Puebla, Mexico teaching English to children.
