The timer names comprise 1-10 characters. The names of timers are listed
in the guidance texts.
time unit
The parameter, given in decimal format, indicates which time unit has been
used as a value.
1 Value in seconds.
2 Value in 10 milliseconds.
For timers T3168 and T3192, the timer unit is either seconds or
milliseconds. The values of these timers are decimal values which indicate
the timer values from 0.5 to 4 seconds for timer T3168 and from 0.5 to 1.5
seconds for timer T3192 every half second. In these cases, the parameter
can have the following values:
1 Value in seconds.
2 Value in milliseconds.
timer value
The parameter, given in decimal format, indicates the new value of the
timer. The guidance text shows the name, current value, and value range
of the timer in the selected time unit.
Parts of seconds can only be given by using the 10 milliseconds time unit
(for timers T3168 and T3192).

Additional After completion of semantic checks, the MML writes the value to the
information PAFILE. If this is carried out successfully, the file is updated to the disks.
After updating the file, the file is distributed to other units. If these actions
are not successfully carried out, the previous value is applied and rewritten
to the file.

COMMAND EXECUTED
The MML has updated the new value of the timer to the file.
Semantic error If an error occurs, the general semantic error messages of MML
messages commands are printed out.
Execution error
messages
The MML is unable to modify the timer. The reason for the failure is stored
in the log file of the system.
The MML is unable to store the value of the timer in the file.
The units that have not updated the file are listed. You can re-enter the
command to update the file and distribute it to other units.
parameter value
The parameter indicates the new value of the parameter. The name of the
parameter, its current value, and the range of the value are displayed.
