Visconti history starts in Italy, in the city of Florence, the capital of art and culture. Florence is also
one of the largest districts of Italian Fashion and Luxury Industry.

A lot of inspiration comes from here and each product incorporates some of these distinctive
features. Since so many years the name “Visconti” is synonymous of extraordinarily elegant writing
instruments coming from very intense historical and technological research: fountain pens, rollers
and ball-pens.

On one side Visconti has preserved, rediscovered, old craftsmanship techniques, making them
suitable for pen instruments. Also, the research for new materials is a strong point of Visconti (i.e.
Volcanic Lava, unidirectional carbon, cotto tile, …).

Today Visconti is one of the most important player in the luxury pen world market and it has
introduced many innovative technical solutions like lock system, double filler, travelling ink-pot,
Palladium 23kt nib, ... which make its writing instruments even more special.

4. VISCONTI BRAND HISTORY

La storia di Visconti nasce in Italia, nella città di Firenze, capitale dell’arte e della cultura. Firenze è
anche uno dei più grandi centri della moda italiana e dell’industria di lusso dai quali Visconti si ispira
e ogni prodotto incorpora alcune di queste caratteristiche distintive.

Da tanti anni il nome “Visconti” è sinonimo di strumenti di scrittura straordinariamente eleganti

provenienti da una ricerca storica e tecnologica molto intensa: stilografiche, roller e penne a sfera.

Visconti, da un lato, ha riscoperto e conservato vecchie tecniche di artigianalità, rendendole adatte

per gli strumenti di scrittura. Inoltre, la ricerca di nuovi materiali è un punto forte di Visconti (lava
vulcanica, carbonio unidirezionale, cotto ...).

Oggi Visconti è una delle realtà più importanti del mercato mondiale delle penne di lusso e ha
introdotto molte soluzioni tecniche innovative, quali il sistema di bloccaggio del cappuccio, il
sistema di riempimento a doppio serbatoio, il calamaio da viaggio, il pennino in palladio a 23 Kt.,
che rendono ancora più speciali gli strumenti di scrittura.
