Sri Thota Narasimham, Hon’ble M.P (LS), Kakinada has proposed the above work with an
estimated cost of Rs.19.60 Lakhs and requested the District Collector to issue Administrative
sanction under MPLADS funds of Kakinada Parliamentary constituency for the year 2015-16.
Considering the MPLADS guidelines, District collector has accorded administrative sanction to the
above work and entrusted the work to EE(R&B), Kakinada and directed to take up the work by
following the guidelines of MPLADS and instructions of District Collector issued from time to time.
The above work is Technically sanctioned for an amount of Rs 19,60,000/- and entrusted to
Sri M. Naga Prasad, Contractor, Kakinada @ 16.09% less than the estimate contract value. During
execution of work, working estimate-I was sent and got approved for an amount of Rs 17,50,000/-.It
is also to submit that the existing building of District Employement office in ITI Compound is in
dilapidated condition. It needs immediate repairs. Hence as per the request of District Employement
officer a working estimate-II is prepared duly including the following new provisions with in the
sanctioned amount.

1. Plastering to cieling with CM 2 coats, 12 mm thick, base coat in CM (1:5), 8 mm thick and top coat
in CM (1:3), 4mm thick with Dubara sponze finishing. For first floor
2. Plastering to walls with CM 2 coats, 12 mm thick, base coat in CM (1:5), 8 mm thick and top coat in
CM (1:3), 4mm thick with Dubara sponze finishing. For first floor
3. Plastering 20mm thick in two coats with base of 16mm thick in CM (1:6) and top coat of 4mm thick
in CM (1:4) with Dubara Sponge
4. Painting to New walls with 2 coats of plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and shade making 2
coats in all to give an even shade(exterior)
5. Repairs to doors and windows by opening the shutters of doors and windows by providing the
necessary fixtures
6. Painting with Synthetic Enamel paints - One Coat - old Iron Work of approved brand and shade to
give an even shade
7. Painting with Synthetic Enamel paints - One Coat - for New Wood Work, Old Wood Work & New
Iron Work of approved brand and shade
 8. Painting to walls with 2 coats of plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and shade over a base coat
of approved cement primer grade I(interior)
9. Supplying and fixing TV shape mirror with plastic frame size 609.6 mm x 457 .2 mm BMW-I.105
10. Scraping the existing painting up to the plastering surface by using the electrically operated
mechanical scrapper including all labour charges for scrapping

Rates: The data for all the above items have been prepared adopting the Common SSR of 2015-2016 and the
work will be executed as per APSS and other relevant circulars issued by the higher officers from time to
time.
