REGINA “GINA” PAZ LOPEZ

Regina “Gina” Paz Lopez belongs to a prominent clan who is considered to be one of the most
influential families in the country and behind the success of ABS-CBN. In assessing Gina Lopez’ intelligence
basing on Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligence, she dominantly possesses interpersonal,
intrapersonal and naturalist intelligences.
Gina Lopez is a well-known philanthropist and environmentalist in the country. Accordingly, she served
as the Managing Director of ABS-CBN who focused on corporate social responsibility about the
environment and children’s welfare by launching BANTAY KALIKASAN and BANTAY BATA-163. She also
served as the Secretary of Natural Resources in an “ad interim” basis under President Rodrigo Duterte.
Currently, she is the incumbent chairperson of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission.
Gina Lopez received several awards in both local and international domains including the Doctor of
Humanities (honoris causa) at Ateneo de Naga University and International Public Relations Award of
Excellence for the Environment.
