The twenty sixth batch of PGDM students from T A Pai Management Institute
(TAPMI) will be graduating during April 2010. On behalf of TAPMI, I invite
programme.
Many of you have had the opportunity of associating with TAPMI students at
close quarters during the previous years as employer or as mentor during the
summer internships of our students. The feedback we received testifies that
those interactions were mutually fruitful and we naturally look forward to
your visit this time too. As you know, this year we have the largest, and
perhaps most enthusiastic, batch of 173 students with diverse backgrounds.
Many of them have prior work experience and I’m sure you will find them
quite equipped with the skills to take up the challenges of these turbulent
times.
Let me add a few words about TAPMI for the benefit of those Corporates
visiting us for the first time. Over the past twenty eight years of its existence,
TAPMI has maintained its reputation of having the most rigorous post
graduate
programme in management in the country. While moulding young girls
and boys as fine management professionals through this rigorous academic
programme, we are also making conscious efforts to instill a sense of
responsibility in them as dutiful individuals in the society. Every member of
the TAPMI family shares this concern for societal values. We feel that
incorporating this into the curricula is essential for creating responsible
human
beings who can develop sustainable solutions to the challenges posed by
the fast growing Indian economy. In a period when global management
education is being criticised for its narrow focus, TAPMI’s programme stands
out in nurturing and developing creators of moral, social and economic
wealth.
This brochure is designed by the students themselves and showcases TAPMI
and the class of 2010 for your reference. I hope most of your queries will
us at any stage if you need any input from our side. It will be a pleasure for
us to oblige.
We look forward to your active participation in the placement season
2009-10.
