9700 Series SB4000 Series

Managed Gigabit Layer 3 Switches
The ideal combination of value and performance for mid-range
gigabit access applications, the 9700 Series managed Gigabit
Ethernet switches feature essential Layer 3 functionality such as
wirespeed Layer 2-3 filtering, wirespeed Layer 2 switching and
wirespeed Layer 3 IP routing. A high-density port count and
affordable price range make the 9700 Series a particularly good
access edge solution for highly cost-sensitive organizations.

Layer 3 Modular Chassis Switches
Allied Telesyn’s flagship suite of products, the SB4100 Series
of Layer 3 chassis-style switches are well-suited to dynamic
environments like enterprise, university, and K-12 school
systems, which require high density and versatility in addition
to top-notch performance and long-term viability. Features four
or eight line card slots that accept a variety of copper or fiber
configurations. Our most powerful and flexible core solution,
the SB4100 Series features a suite of redundant management
and power options with hot-swappable capability to ensure
high availability, security, performance and adaptability for
your most mission-critical networks.

Rapier Series
Layer 3 Fast Ethernet Switches
A midrange switch combining 100MB fiber or copper and two
expansion bays, the streamlined Rapier Series is your choice
for flexible, managed Layer 3 Fast Ethernet access and
aggregation. An NSM port accommodates incoming network
services and WAN connectivity, making it equally suited for
core deployment. Can be used as an access edge router as
well as a switch, eliminating the need for two units. Expandable
security and redundancy features and expansion bays make AT-SB4104: 4-Slot Chassis
the Rapier a terrific solution for deployment in server farms, AT-SB4108: 8-Slot Chassis
workgroups and backbone applications.

8900 Series
Layer 3/4 IPv4/IPv6 Fast Ethernet Switch
The 8948 combines Allied Telesyn Layer 3 performance and a
compact 1RU size, using less rack space and providing a lower
per port cost than comparable Fast Ethernet switches. Designed
specifically for access and aggregation in complex service
provider and MTU networks, the 8948 offers exceptionally
strong QoS with features such as: strict priority scheduling, 3-
drop precedence, premarking and remarking, assured
forwarding, bandwidth limiting and traffic prioritization. Can
implement CIR, CBS/EBS, PIR and PBS protocols, and allows
service providers to implement customer SLAs, per hop
prioritization and forwarding behavior at downstream devices.
8600 Series
Layer 3 Fast Ethernet Switches
These compact, 1RU fixed Layer 2-4 managed Fast Ethernet
switches are the sound choice for enterprise and educational
networks where space is critical. A good choice for networks
demanding high bandwidth Ethernet for services such as web
conferencing and live video. Features twenty-four or forty-eight
10/100TX Fast Ethernet copper ports and two Module slots
for a streamlined footprint and an optimum combination
of performance, flexibility and density. A PoE version is
also available.

Layer 3/4+ Gigabit Ethernet Switches
Our most powerful, flexible fixed solution. With 24 fixed Gigabit
Copper ports and four SFB bays, the AT-9924T managed Layer
3 Gigabit switch is a powerful choice for high-end core or
aggregation multicasting and voice/data/video applications.
Likewise, the AT-B Gigabit Switch features increased capacity
and 24 flexible SFP bays, making it the perfect solution for voice,
video and data core or aggregation deployment in dynamic
mid-sized environments where long-term flexibility is key.
