Intro  The African Rain Forest are we!
Black-All Of  Let us say, “We have the best trees!”
Us  Plentiful are they and our other resources, too!
Animals, vegetation, minerals, too!
It’s hot and it’s misty,
No shortage of dew.
The animals are wild, so is the rain.
You have to visit to see the terrain!
Lourdes  The trees cover my every move.
The trees approve or my every move.
Trees  The trees sway while I move.

Blue & Gold  I am the trees, I block the sun from hitting my forest.
Macaw  I am the trees, the wind blowing my leaves off.
I am the trees, the way I sway goes thru the day.

I feel as free as a leaf.

I am in relief.
I am the bird in the trees.

We are part of the forest.

We are both living.
We are giving.

Nic  I am the sun, shining above

I am the fish, swimming below
Sun  I am the fruit, hanging on the trees
Fruit
Fish  The sun shines bright
The fish come out at night
The fruit turns ripe

I am like a marble, rolling around
I am so hot, I scorch up the ground
I am like glitter, splashing about
I am so quiet, you don’t hear a shout
I am as juicy as I am tasty
I am so good, you will pick me if your hasty

I am the sun burning the ground
I am the fish, I don’t make a sound
I am the fruit, I’m almost always found
Caroline  I rain and rain
Climate/  That’s what I do.
Temperature  I’m a rain forest
and African  Through and through.
Forest  Humid, misty, and quite wet,
Elephant  63-78 inches per year
That’s what I get.
I may not rain as much as most
But that’s no reason not to boast.
My temperature is quite high,
At 70-90 degrees each time,
I don’t like brag,
So don’t be mad,
Because my forest is so hot,
So don’t say it is not.

I saw a monkey on a vine,
And then it asked me for the time,
I am quite small,
And not very tall,
But I weigh a hefty amount,
At most 9000 pounds,
It sounds quite bad,
But all that matter are my cute little sounds,
I am an African Forest Elephant,
And I won’t stop now.
Kaylee    I am gorilla,
I can blend in at night,
  Crawling my way around,
Animals/  While all the other animals sleep tight
Geography   I am the rain forests flowers,
People usually like to smell me,
Gorilla/  They also like to pick me,
Flowers   Which sometimes makes me mad.
I can be all different kinds ,
Such as orchids, or a giant water lily,
I am known as a very valuable finds.
When it’s warm and humid outside,
my gorilla fur is as soft as a rug,
But when it’s rains, I smell like a stinky dog.
I may be just a little flower in a big rain forest,
But I really do love it here,
My home may be big,
But my family is always near.
If you were wondering what a gorilla does all day in a rainforest,
Usually, I just relax next to a tree, and read my books,
I know it doesn’t sound like much,
But it really keeps me busy, especially the ones with the good hooks.
In this big rainforest,
I need the African rain showers,
To grow to be big beautiful flowers
The sun helps me grow big and strong,
And when the sun comes out,
I can feel myself growing tall and long.
People also wonder what gorillas eat in the rainforest,
Well I can tell you that by my little saying,
“ I love leading leaves to my mouth.”
I’m sorry that’s,
Thank you for your time,
But we really have to go,
I hope you liked our rhyme,

Andrew
Animals/  Slick, black, scaly and dangerous.
black  I’m deadly, and not afraid to bite if you get too close
mamba  Leaves crunch as small animals flee in terror
I hunger for something to snack on
Searching for any creature that hasn’t yet fled
A small rodent, I suppose it will have to do
Now, with my prey in sight.
I creep up from behind and prepare to strike,
I kill it so quick it doesn’t put up a fight
I eat it whole, and I leave the scene.
Then go back home to my den between the trees
Leaving nothing more behind than the breeze.
I’m the black mamba, but I live in the rainforest of green.
Arman  I am a crocodile one of mother nature
I am like lightning I strike when you don’t expect it
I flow with the water itself as stealthy as can be,
My scales are like a bumpy road protecting me from danger
I obliterate anything that comes my way
I listen to life sing its song while I dwell in the water all day long
My teeth are like many knives waiting to end other’s life
I execute all fish that come my way
I am the king of the river and the assassin of the land
I am the crocodile.

Decklan  We are the the dark gray clouds that cover the sky, we bring the rain
and block out the sun. We fly overhead in a slow three miles per hour.

And I the large crust constantly being pelted by precipitation getting
up to seventy-five inches of rain per year. I have many trees covering
my face.

We the tribe of chimpanzees swinging across the large forest. Running
together. We get tired and groom each other , then fall asleep. We
wake up and our tribe is hungry. We fetch the juicy fruit from the
highest branches, we eat like kings.
Outro  And though our forests are hot and wet,
Black-All Of  We are as cool as you can get.
Us  All though it went by faster than a breeze,
You’ve met the Elephants and Chimpanzees
You felt the rain and the sun
We all had really great fun
The river winds to and fro
But now we really have to go
We are the African Rain Forest.
