DETERIORATION AND CONSERVATION

1.1 Analyzes of future restoration

Building damage is variously defined. In literature you can find definition that
building damage is any negative change in the properties of the construction
element, regardless of whether the damage caused by mistakes in designing or
carrying out, defects in materials, aging, lack of maintenance or actions of third
parties. Building damage is generally recognized by the physical effects, cracking,
breaking or crumbling bricks and mortar in construction, settlement and
movement of parts of buildings etc. This damage can be sorted in damages due to
the physical and chemical causes.

A large number of buildings requires facade restoration. Not only for aesthetic
reasons, but also because of defective insulation. Heat losses from private
households is not the only wallet residents, but also our environment, 80% of all
energy consuming households. And here it is important to help ensure
