TUTORIALS
John F. Kennedy High School
will be offering an intensive
review tutorials session for all
levels for Mathematics, Physical
Science and History mid year
exams. These sessions will be
given on a Saturday, January
27th and will have a fee of $25.
A form as been sent home and
we ask that you sign and return
it with the due payment ASAP.
The sessions are an intensive 5
hours review and we encourage
all students to participate so
they could achieve successful
results.

Principal’s Message
Happy New Year to the entire John F. Kennedy High School community.
Welcome back to 2018 and we are hopeful and confident that 2nd term will
bring positive changes to your sons/daughters progress in school.
We encourage students to focus on learning so that they will have a sense of
confidence when they make the transition to the working world.
Developing a nurturing and positive learning environment at JFKHS is
instrumental to facilitating Student Success.
During the month of January we will be preparing for the Mid-Year Exams
that will take place from January 29th to February 2nd. We are also
planning to have a Saturday school on January 27th and Building Block
Tutorials will be conducting Intensive Math Review Sessions prior to the
Mid-Year Exams. Please make sure to pay $25 for these important review
sessions. Your sons/daughters participation in these review sessions is
important and will only contribute to their academic progress.
Please help to spread the good word about all of the great things that John
F. Kennedy High School has to offer. Our goal is to continually improve
academically and to build positive learning environment. We develop
lifelong learners and help to shape students who have sound morals and
character. As lifelong learners we encourage parents to see the benefits of
keeping your child’s mind active.
Thanks to all our parents, staff members and students and we look forward
to a wonderful 2018 school year.

Other Reminders…
Christmas Bazaar
On December 15th and 16th, John F. Kennedy High School had their
first Bazaar. The event did
very well and the funds
raised will go towards
school activities. We would
like to thank everyone who
donated towards the sale.
We hope to continue to
have the sale and make it an
annual event at John F.
Kennedy.

Hockey Program
Students from Secondary I have been offered an opportunity to
participate in our Hockey Program at St. Michel Arena. The program
gives the students a chance to learn and advance their skills at hockey.
The practices are instructed by
a coach along with some

have volunteered to help their
