ASP (FUNDAMENTALS) EXAMINATION PREPARATION WORKSHOP

By popular demand, this three-day workshop was created to help you prepare for the ASP Exam.
Taught by two former members of the Louisiana State University faculty, the workshop covers all
sections of the CORE examination. A workbook developed by the instructors for this course,
including sample test questions and other materials, will be used as the primary text.
CSP guide is used as the primary text; in addition you will receive a handout of over 40 pages,
which includes sample test questions and other materials. Students should bring a scientific
calculator (TI30XIIS). The BCSP has updated the requirements to take the examinations;
details may be found at their website www.bcsp.org.
Length: Three days

Of course, ASSE can't guarantee that attending this workshop will get you a passing score on the
exam, but the cumulative passing rate for those who have taken the test after the workshop is
about 90%.
If you are near the end of your own ASP study program when you take this course, it will be an
excellent final review to identify the areas in which you need more concentrated study. If you are
in the middle of your study, the course can help verify your study techniques and pinpoint your
needs for preparation. It can also be an excellent aid in determining whether or not you want to
tackle the examination at all.
NOTE: Students are asked to bring a scientific calculator with them such as a TI36X or
equivalent to this class.
