FATA Development Authority invites sealed bids from contractors /firms registered with income tax and sales tax
departments, having sufficient experience in the relevant field for supply of the Machinery/Equipments listed
below, required for Government Polytechnic Institute WANA , South Waziristan Agency.

1. Tender documents can be obtained from office of the undersigned on payment of Rs. 5000/- from the date of
publication in the newspaper till one day prior to opening date of tenders.
2. 2% earnest money must accompany the sealed tender in shape of demand draft/call deposit in the name of
Deputy Director Technical Education FATA DA. Additional security of 8% will be deposited by successful
bidders before issuing of supply order.
3. Copies of registration with income tax Department, Sales tax, CNIC, renewal for the current year, complete
business address and proof of area of expertise.
4. The bids should be submitted BOQ wise on the date mentioned above. BOQ No. should clearly be mentioned
on top corner of the envelopes.
5. The firms/suppliers should bid for the entire BOQ without adding/dropping any item.
6. Bids for selected items will not be entertained.
7. The sealed Bids will be opened on the above mentioned dates and times in presence of the members of the
procurement committee/ representatives/ contractors.
8. The Bid amount should clearly be mentioned both in figures and words.
9. Any disfiguring, overwriting manipulation in the tender shall turn the Bid Non –responsive.
10. In case the Bid amount ties, award of contract will be decided through a Draw.
11. Only the first two figures after the decimal of the rate will be considered for evaluation of the Bids.
12. The competent authority FATA-DA reserve the Right to cancel, increase or decrease quantity of one or all the
Bids at any stage as envisaged in Rule 33 of PPRA Rules, 2004.
13. Supply of the items to the respective institution in FATA will be at the risk & cost of the supplier.
14. An agreement will be executed between the procurement entity and firm/supplier. Additional security of 8%
will be deposited.
15. Installation and operationalization of the major equipment/ Machinery will be the responsibility of the
supplier.

17. Pre Bid meeting will be held on 19/12/2017 in office of the Manager Skills/T.E. FATA DA.
18. Tender will be opened on the above mentioned date in the office of Manager Skills/TE FATA Development
Authority Phase 5, Hayatabad Peshawar.
