CHARACTERISTICS OF A PLC
The plc has inputs and outputs which can be:
Inputs: pushbutton, sensor, selector, thermal relay
Departures: light pilots, engines. Coils, solenoid valves
PLC INPUTS
The plc inputs should always be connected to a 24 vdc power supply
The plc inputs should not be connected to a direct current power source
PLC OUTPUTS
The outputs are not supplied by the PLC
The outputs can be powered with both alternating current and direct current
At the outputs you can use two types of currents, but never combine them because it could cause
a short circuit
Check that the entries and exits in the program are well-named
Do not rummage the programming of the entrances and exits
Do not connect the input and output devices before compiling the completed program
Verify that the programming performed correctly
The following observations must be taken into account before putting the project into operation
Verify if the electrical system of the project is connected correctly.
If you notice any anomaly you should turn off the power supplies, both electric and pneumatic
The compressor should not be on the work table
The compressor should be under the work table
The thermal protection should not be far from the work table, the thermal protection should be
next to the work table.
After taking into account the above indications, the operation of the project automation process
can be put in place.
