The Information Technology Society of Jamaica is planning a Caribbean Secondary

Examination Council (CSEC) Information Technology (IT) Workshop for secondary
school students in the eastern region of the island. This letter is to inform and invite your
school, «Name_of_School», to participate in the workshop. The workshop will focus on
three (3) main areas of the syllabus:

Information Processing
Problem Solving
Program Implementation using Pascal

The workshop is being organized to assist teachers by helping students to fully appreciate
and grasp knowledge relating to the areas identified above. The workshop will be held at
the Girls’ Guide Headquarters in Kingston on November 16, 2017. The cost of the
workshop is five hundred Jamaican dollars (JA $500). It will begin at 8:30 a.m. and is
expected to end at 4:30 p.m. Schools will be organized into two groups. A total of six (6)
presenters will be in attendance, three presenters per group to cover each area.
