& the Common Good

teacher: william oates
Greetings students and Welcome

Emmaus College has an important role to play in helping you to be a:

RESPONSIBLE CUSTODIAN OF GOD’S CREATION.
We will be learning to see how RELIGION involves all the business of life. How
do we CAUSE AN EFFECT for GOOD in God’s world?

The weekly outline of work and the assessment dates are given to you at the
beginning of the term. Start preparing early and do not leave the assessment to
the last minute. You will be given weekly or fortnightly formative
activities/assessments.

Write using your OWN WORDS and when giving a presentation speak using your
own words …do not copy some or all of the work of another person without
acknowledging their authorship…if you do you run the risk of receiving a LOW
grade.

I hope the Study Guide helps you understand what is required to complete your
studies and achieve the marks you deserve.

If you don’t understand anything come and talk to me!

Looking forward to helping you,

william oates
