Legislative KCRAR members believe that REALTORS® have a role
to play in every community. We also believe that home
will not favor or disfavor any member because of the amount contributed. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to
support state and local political candidates. Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal 30% is sent to National RPAC to support
federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it may elect to
retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates.

media. Through our consumer outreach efforts, we have the opportunity
Outreach/Media to inform the public about the local market, legislative topics and other

Relations
Throughout the year, KCRAR and NAR promote the advantages of
working with a REALTOR® and the benefits of home ownership through
local and national marketing campaigns. In 2017, KCRAR is investing in a
greatly enhanced consumer marketing campaign to promote the importance
of the work you do. As a result of this campaign, the public will see REALTOR®
advertising on local television stations, as well as digital and print media outlets.
KCRAR also secures opportunities to provide articles to local media outlets such as the
Kansas City Star, featuring local market updates, buyer and seller tips, and other relevant
industry news – all of which promote the importance of working with a local REALTOR®.
