SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

I, LORNA R. BANTASAN, of legal age, Filipino citizen, widow and with residence and postal address at
32 Victor Road Beacon NY 12508, one of the children/heirs of the late SPOUSES RAMON R.
BANTASAN and ELISA MAGLASANG BANTASAN who died on February 4, 1977 and January 19,
1984, respectively in Ormoc City, Philippines, do hereby APPOINT and CONSTITUTE CHERRY TANYA R.
BANTASAN, of legal age, single and a resident of 745 Berlin St., Feliza Mejia Subd., Ormoc City,
as my true and legal representative to act for and in my name and stead and to perform the
following acts:
1. To represent me in the settlement of the estate of our late parents SPOUSES
RAMON R. BANTASAN and ELISA MAGLASANG BANTASAN, consisting of a parcel of
land with improvement with Tax Declaration Number 8847, situated at Sitio Tinago,
Benolho, Albuera, Leyte, which is particularly described below:

“A parcel of land (with the improvements thereon, si tuated at Sitio Tinago,

Benolho, Albuera, Leyte. Bounded on the N., by Jose Sy Hong Chuy; on the E.,
by Catalino Maglasang and Luisa Pepito; and on the W., by Luisa Pepito; xxx .
containing an area of FORTY FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY ONE
(45,891) SQUARE METERS more or less…”

2. To sign for and in my behalf an Extrajudicial Settlement with and Quitclaim and Waiver of
Rights in favor of my father, herein Attorney-in-Fact AMELITO E. CLAROS, or Extrajudicial
Settlement with Deed of Sale or Special Power of Attorney in favor of any person that my
attorney-in-fact in his discretion would determine to be beneficial to me, and any other
documents and instruments needed required in order to facilitate the settlement of the
above mentioned estate;
3. To dispose or in any manner transfer or convey the ownership of said parcel of land in favor
of any person interested to buy the same;
4. To perform any right or obligation in connection with the authority given above, including
acts for obtaining any necessary government permits or licenses, or with any other third
party.
5. To do any and all acts and things necessary to be done in order to consummate the
foregoing authority.

HEREBY GRANTING unto my representative full power and authority to execute and perform
every act necessary to render effective the above-enumerated power, as though I, myself,
have so performed it, and HEREBY APPROVING ALL that he may do by virtue hereof with full right of
substitution of her person and revocation of this instrument.
