PREVENT:

● Email survey to vendors to make sure they don’t have food allergies

● Train student to make sure nothing happens
● Avoid serving alcohol
● Staff (event students) walking around to make sure no alcohol is on venue

● Get security to escort person off of the event venue
● Make sure the person get safe to home
● Contact family members
● Call 911

PREVENT:
● Better than the year before
● Plan for all occurrences
● Event is a Priority
● Protect students and their education
● Make success happen / work as a team

IF IT HAPPENS:
● Immediate reaction
● Could give our event a bad name
● Could give Humber a bad name
● Discussion with Client
● Protect name at all costs

E. Post Analysis what we did and how did it work?


● Food: There was no issues but we missed signage for Food and
Beverage. We want to improved signage for next year, have better
trained staff for the next event and make sure everyone is following
Food and Safety procedures.

● Alcohol: ​We didn’t have signage for alcohol but we had staff
walking around to make sure no alcohol was on the venue site.

● Smoking: No one was smoking in the building as there were a lot of


staff on site, Students probably know they can not smoke in campus.

● Reputation: The event was successful, got good feedback from


clients and attendees. We are expecting to do better next time.

F. Getting Ready for the next time


● Be better on the next event.
● Have trained staffs, crowd control, security on the site for safety.
