How to be Charming

E
nglish Unstoppabalites, Congratulations on a successful one-month and an incredible
beginning. You are true rock-stars for these children. Kudos to your CEOs for giving you
this wonderful opportunity. Do you want to be more confident, attractive and influential
at work? Teaching this to the kids will help them gain soft skills which will help them stand out
from the herd.

1) Smile: Look at the other person in the eye and smile with open teeth, creates instant
bond.

2) Remember Names: A name is the sweetest sounding voice to one’s ears. You can start
out by ‘Priyanka, It’s nice to meet you Priyanka.’ The more times you use the name
during the conversation, it will create a feeling of familiarity and the person will like you.

3) Know your audience: Always know what the person you are speaking to likes. When
talking to Young people talk about cricket or bollywood or tennis. While talking to your
parents or teachers or bosses be more respectful. A Jadoo Ki Jhappi is something that all
audiences appreciate, so ‘HUG’ everyone 

4) Compliment sincerely: If someone has got a nice haircut, better grades in school, is
extremely dedicated to his work, or is someone you admire – please compliment
immediately. In this world where people mainly complain, a person who compliments
honestly sticks out pleasantly.

What employees say..
“The English Unstoppable program is unique in the sense that
the only expectation in this program is personal time, and not
money or any other contribution. I have complete control over
how I utilize these 2 hours and I don’t need to worry about
how my resources are being used. Spending two hours with
these kids, is a pleasure and nowadays, I actually look forward
Krishnamurthi Kumar to Fridays! It would be wonderful if other cities also come
Senior Executive-Customer Service, under this program. I hope that English Unstoppable becomes
Vodafone in unstoppable force of reckoning in future.”

“The best part of my Friday morning these days is, without

a doubt, the school kids – their smiles, laughter’s, and
inquisitiveness.
I thank Yuva for giving me an opportunity not only to help
the kids, but to add a tint of bliss in my routine. Though the
intention to join English unstoppable was to give something
to society we live in, but still, I always found myself
standing at receiving end while leaving the school premises.
Truly Unstoppable.”

Earlier the kids were not interested in studying. The

volunteers each time made it into to get gifts for them. The
kids soon got friendly with volunteers and now upfront
want to learn from volunteers. Volunteers use games and
drawing as a tool to teach kids. That has really helped kids
to learn quickly.

In the first session, we focused on putting the

children at ease. Now that the rapport is in place,
they’re responding much better than we
expected.

The program does quite a lot to the volunteers who

have taken up for the cause. None of us in our life
would volunteer like this on our own. It gives a lot of
new energy and enthusiasm to do similar things
further throughout our lives.

Deepika Ajmeri The idea of English Unstoppable of providing an interface between

Teacher (7th Grade) distinguished people from different corporate and the
underprivileged children is really very unique. It’s more like a
mentorship session than just a classroom learning experience.

Joshnaben The English Unstoppable initiative is really very good. It’s creating a
Teacher lot of interest factor in kids to learn. The curriculum is so appropriate
and the best thing about it is that it’s starting from the scratch i.e.,
from the alphabets. Even though the children have reached high level
in terms of classes (6th or 7th grade) but they lack in their
fundamentals. The job which couldn’t be done by us has been
effectively done by ENGLISH UNSTOPPABLE…!!!!!

This is a wonderful step towards enriching the lives of thousands of
Teacher
kids. The approach of starting from the fundamentals will help in
strengthening grammatical skills enhancing their grip on both verbal
and written communications ability. It’s an initiative of providing
concrete shapes to their most aspiring dreams.
