do not enter the hopper
• Clean up debris after finished to eliminate any slipping hazards
• Changing of the wire channel • Ensure Auxiliary motor is switched off and broom is extended out for
brooms accessibility
• Wear gloves to prevent any injuries to hands
• Use proper spanners to avoid slipping and crushing hand whilst loosening and
tightening of nuts and bolts
General Precautions – CX 400 (Mid Sized Sweeper)
General precautions to be
implemented ! • Steering wheel inside cabin is
too close to the door pillar.
• When steering wheel is extended out it reduces the clearance for movement of
hand and should be adjusted forward to enable uninterrupted movement and
injury to hand.
• • Alternatively, a “Quick Release steering wheel grip for one hand operation” is
provided to be used, driver must also ensure that movement is achievable and
might require moving of steering wheel.
NOTE: wheel grip is to be only used whilst in working mode and must be
removed when driving mode.

! • Clearing blocked suction tube • If chutes are blocked, at no time is driver to mount the engine area of vehicle to
clear the blockage, if blockage cannot be cleared from ground level, driver
should return to depot and seek assistance from Fleet unit.
