A digital Signal is a signal which has values either 1 or 0. It is a time series

that is a function of 1 or 0. which represent
the on or off state.

while in Discrete signal , it is a time series that is a function of domain of

Integer. keep in mind Integer.so the domain
range can whatever, it can represent any value.like different ranges are - (-3,-
2,-1,0,1,2,3) , (5,6,7,8) etc. on the other
hand digital signal represents only 0 or 1. Range is (0,1).

All digital signals are also discrete signal but all discrete signals are not
digital.
Intrinsically safe equipment is defined as "equipment and wiring which is incapable
of releasing sufficient electrical
or thermal energy under normal or abnormal conditions to cause ignition of a
specific hazardous atmospheric mixture
