MOTION FOR REDUCTION OF BAILBOND

COMES NOW, CARMEN DULAY y ADATO, ACCUSED and unto this

Honorable Court most respectfully states:

1. That accused is charged with the offense of ESTAFA (Article 315 2(a) of the
Revised PenaL Code pending before this Honorable Court;

2. That the recommended bailbond for his/her provisional liberty is in the total
amount of FORTY THOUSAND PESOS (P40,000.00) ;
3. That accused with the help of relatives he/she/they will be able to post bail if the
Honorable Court will reduce the same to TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS
(Php.20,000.00).That accused is an indigent member of his barangay;
4. That in the interest of justice and in the exercise of discretion this Honorable
Court may reduced the amount of bail to indigents like the accused.
WHEREFORE, premises considered it is respectfully prayed that the
recommended bail in the amount of P40, 000.00 be reduced to P20,000.00 in order that
accused could enjoy provisional liberty so as to adequately prepare for his/her defense.
Other relief and remedies just and equitable under the premises are likewise
being prayed for.
