prefabricated shelters , and communication towers in difficult
terrains of J&K
 Provisioning solar energy for centralised water heating and
electricity generation for localised usage in RR Centre in
SriNagar

light – intensity sensors for street lights in AF Station Jorhar

 To impart quality engineering knowledge to engineering under


graduates using sound subject knowledge, good communication skills
and teaching aids.
 To promote use of technical application software in imparting lectures
for better assimilation of the subject, making topic interesting.
 Usage of CAD/CAE in project work of students
 Promote technical writing acumen amongst faculty members
