I have given people proof of mistakes and omissions from the King James Version. There are
mistakes and omissions in other translations and the King James crowd has made it a point to
expose these and rightfully so. But it seems that the King James crowd will use the “Ostrich
defense”, the “you don’t understand Greek” defense, the “you don’t understand English”
defense, and so much more when you point out proof of mistakes and omissions from the King
James Version.

There is no perfect translation, there is no proof that the KJV was inspired or that it is inerrant,
because it is neither. When you place all your faith on the KJV being inspired and inerrant, you
are worshipping a man made bible translation.
The bible tells us a cure for this problem:

YLT
Ephesians 4:11 and He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as
proclaimers of good news, and some as shepherds and teachers, 12 unto the perfecting of
the saints, for a work of ministration, for a building up of the body of the Christ, 13 till we
may all come to the unity of the faith and of the recognition of the Son of God, to a
perfect man, to a measure of stature of the fulness of the Christ, 14 that we may no more
be babes, tossed and borne about by every wind of the teaching, in the sleight of men, in
craftiness, unto the artifice of leading astray, 15 and, being true in love, we may increase
to Him in all things, who is the head -- the Christ;

This is a study by itself, but basically we have apostles, prophets, proclaimers of good news
[evangelists], and some as shepherds and teachers. Shepherds and teachers are the same office,
you call this person “Pastor.” These are all for making “making Christians perfect.” We need to
read our bibles from cover to cover and then start over until you are dead or Jesus returns. We
still need the Pastor/Teacher to help us with course corrections.
